First thing I said this morning was,"Let's make cornbread."  As soon as Mommy left for work Barbara and I made cornbread and scrambled eggs with sausage. I ate my fill of eggs and didn't have room for much cornbread, but I would eat more later in the day.  I was watching Jake and the Neverland pirates on the iPad while I ate.  I am very good at maneuvering around the iPad.

Barbara tried to get me to wear sneakers but I only had eyes for my new black boots...
 ...and my cowboy hat.
Mommy needs to buy me a cowboy shirt.
The weather was perfect, so Barbara and I played with my red ball until we kicked a big portion of the air out if it.
We had to change to my purple and blue balls.
Sometimes I want to always be the person to get to the ball first and kick it, but Barbara explains to me that everyone wants to get to play, so if I wanted her to keep playing with me, I needed to take turns.  I sort of understood.
I enjoyed more of Daddy's birthday cake....
I like the frosting the best.
I took off my cowboy hat but had it handy in case I needed to go do some cowboy work.

We were playing with my baby doll and I had to changer a dirty diaper.  I said, "I have on gloves so I would not get my hands dirty."

I asked for a "cutie" orange, but when I started to eat it, I spit it out saying it made me shiver.
When we got tired of running, we came in and play with my car ramp, read books, told stories, played doctor...
and played blocks.  After lunch we did some laundry, then I rode my scooter in our dead end street.   I took a bath before Grandma came over and we went to the library.

Barbara and I played with my new found toy: playing cards.  One of the things we did was divide the cards into two piles, red and blue.
Barbara sent this picture to Mommy and she quickly made a copy and put in in a frame for her desk.

I fell asleep just before 7pm.  At 9pm Barbara noticed I felt hot to her touch.  I had 100.2 temp.  My legs and truck were much warmer than my forehead.  But I kept on sleeping until 11:30.  I woke up with a temperature of 100.8 and asking for Mommy.  I took some medicine, drank apple juice, and Mommy laid down with me.  By midnight I was not nearly so hot.  My temp was 99.8.  I was not complaining or acting sick.  I fell back to sleep and slept until 6:20am.
Grandma and PaPa had two new light fixtures installed at their home today.
Sorry the pictures are so dark.
Very pretty, Grandma and PaPa.

The first thing I said this morning was "Nobody home."  Then I put my head back down and went back to sleep until 7:30am.  The next time I woke up I asked Mimz for a big bowl of cereal.
I ate it while watching Dora the Explorer.

Last night I told Mimz I was not going to cry when I went to school today.  And I was true to my word.  I even wanted to put my tennis shoes on before we left for school.  Normally I want to wear my cowboy boots until we get to school.  Mimz talked to Miss Melanie and she told her how much she enjoys me and how very good I am.  She said I know how to do everything.  She said I am doing great and am happy at school.

Mimz had planned to take me to the mall so I could ride the merry-go-round, but I told her I wanted to go home to play in the backyard, in my fire station, so that is what we did.

When we came inside I had another piece of Daddy's birthday cake and watched Dora on Mimz' iPad.

I acted up when Mimz and Barbara met at Wal-Mart so I could go to Wal-Mart and home with Barbara.  So we did not get to go into Wal-Mart.  Barbara rarely takes me in stores and she certainly was not going to if I was acting up.   The main inappropriate thing I did was throw my cowboy hat on the pavement and try to step on it.

I was fine after we were in the car and we talked a lot about the big long train we had to wait on yesterday.  Once we were home we had some work to do.  Barbara washed my fifteen play mats.
They were out on the patio and were dry, so we had to carry them inside...

.. and put them back together.
When we had that job done we went outside to play Tag and kicked around my big red ball.
I keep hoping Luke will come outside so he could come play with us.

Mimz sent Daddy's leftover cake home with me.  I ate some frosting, while Barbara ate the chocolate cake.  I had some milk with my frosting.

Barbara figured out how to get some of my TV shows on her iPad.  She still needs to figure out how to get Dora the Explorer.

When Mommy got home we played catch and keep away.  We make up little games and that keep me happy and laughing.  Barbara uses that opportunity to go work on her computer.

I told Barbara I wanted another piece of Daddy's birthday cake.  She said, "Sh" and said it was a secret.  Mommy did not know we had cake.  We went into the utility room and I sat on the washing machine while we ate cake and drank milk.  I thought it was funny that Mommy did not know what we were doing.

I seem to have set my bed time to be around 8:30pm since it gets dark so early, I think it must be time for sleep.  Give me a drink, Monk Monk, cover me with my my blankie, tell me a story, and I roll over and fall right to sleep.... most of the time... especially when I did not have a nap.
Pretty new picture of Morgan, my only first cousin.

I slept until 8:30 so I missed saying bye to my mommy.  But I was told that she gave me several kisses while I was asleep.
I played outside several times today.  We did a bunch of running playing Tag or kicking my big red ball.  I would tell Barbara, "It is time to go inside.  I am tired."  We read many of my new books today, some of them we read two or three times.  I asked for stories but not too many, so every time Barbara was willing to make up a new story.  Also today I mostly let her make up the story line.

I helped do laundry and helped sweep the wood floors.  The rest of the day was spent playing.
I found a little chest with two decks of cards in it and I played with them for more than an hour all by myself.  Barbara did not understand most of the things I was saying to myself, but I was very busy doing hard work.  Barbara asked me if I wanted a snack.  I said, "You fix it and let me know when it is ready.  I'm busy working hard right now."

I would not stop playing to take a bath and Barbara was not going to force the issue.  I did not take a nap.  I was happy all day with only one minor Time Out.  I told Barbara I did not like her and she said she liked me.  That did not make me happy.  But give me a couple of minutes and I have moved on and you would never know I was recently pouting.

Daddy picked me up from Barbara after work and we went out to eat Daddy's birthday dinner with Mimz and Bob Finch.  I ate fish and had some gumbo.  I liked it.  I behaved perfectly at the restaurant.  I pretended to be the waiter.  I would ask everyone what they wanted for dinner.  I watched the waitress carry a tray and I picked up a bread plate and put it flat on my hand like a tray.  I even tried to raise it up by my shoulder like I was carrying a tray.  I am observant.  We went back home to have cake and ice cream.  I helped Daddy blow out his candles.  Yesterday was Daddy's birthday.

************Barbara and Grandma have spend a couple of hours trying to fix a problem with this new web site.  Grandma got it resolved.   So I am behind and will try to get caught up ASAP.  Soon things will settle down and we will post in a more timely fashion.  Please keep reading my blog,***********

Happy birthday, Daddy.

It was raining on our drive to school today.  The rain and the windshield wipers put me to sleep about 15 minutes into our trip.   Again I cried going into school, but as soon as I was in my class I was okay.  Barbara talked to my teacher about this problem.  She said I have no problems at school.  I get along with all the children.  She said I am her best helper because I know all the rules and how things are to be done.  She said this might just be a stage.  She said she would tell us if there were any problems.

We had to stop for a very long train on our drive home.  I enjoyed every minute of it.  The only problem is there was no caboose which seems to be the rule rather than the exception.

I got my cowboy boots wet so it was almost a necessity that I get some new ones. In this picture I am admiring the new boots Mimz bought for me.
I got to pick them out.  I am a very lucky boy.  Thank you, Mimz.  I would be lost without my boots.

I played outside riding my scooter, then we play soccer with my big red ball and I laugh so much I fall down often.  Barbara is not a very good ball player, but she will try.

I wanted to hear a story, so Barbara held me on her lap and told me a very boring story and in just a few minutes I was asleep.  That gave Barbara time to try to resolve a problem on this blog.  She was not successful, so she enlisted Grandma's help.  Grandma was at her wits end with the problem, but she finally got it resolved.  Thank you, Grandma.

Mimz and Barbara talked about how I want to be told stories ALL day long.  Mimz came up with a plan of making some coupons that are good for one story.  I'll get so many coupons a day and when they are used up, that is all I can ask for until the next day.

I sent Daddy a text telling him I was going to help him blow out his candles and I was going to eat ALL the cake but he and Mimz could have some.

Barbara drove over to Claremore and Tulsa yesterday to visit with some friends.  She left Tulsa early this morning to drive home to me.  She left Tulsa at 5:45 and got here at 2:45.  Long drive but easy.  She listened to a book on tape while she drove.
Grandma drove to my home so she would be here by 8am, so Mommy could go to work.  Grandma and I went to Denney's to have a birthday breakfast with four of her friends.  I was the only little child and I behaved perfectly.  Also  I have gotten much better about being quiet while Grandma is on the phone doing her job.

Grandma and I played outside a bunch.  I got to play with Luke, grown-up Nicole and baby Paisley.  Luke's daddy is a policeman and I have used a few new words: jail, bad guys, and guns.

I helped Grandma and Barbara unload Barbara's car and move my car seat back into Barbara's car.  Then Grandma left to go to ProLawn.  Barbara and I read three of my new books, then I wanted to play outside, which we did until dark, which is way to early now.  It is dark before Mommy gets home.

In Bella Vista:  GGF John worked at the library bookstore, so GGM Avis and Barbara decided to tackle a couple of jobs at home.  They decorated for Christmas.  Total time: 1 hour and 15 minutes.  So easy.  And they polished GGM's brass coffee pots.  Total time: 30 minutes.  So easy with help.  Their leftovers from their Thanksgiving dinner are no more.  Time to cook again.  Barbara and GGF John stir fried some vegetables.  GGM Avis and Barbara watched three football games in twelve hours.  They both will miss having football games to watch when the season is over.  GGF John watches for a few minutes then he moves on to something else.

I was up at 7am but I played in my room so everyone got to sleep until 9. I was so good even Mimz and Holly were able to sit at the table and have a conversation with their coffee.  Our company is going home today so Mimz and I will miss them.  I will miss the attention and Mimz will miss watching the girls and me interact.  I had so much fun playing with Morgan, Kennedy, and Jensen.
I had cereal for breakfast then I got to have donuts with chocolate tops.
 Kennedy, Monk Monk, and me.
We watched Dora the Explorer on an iPad.
Kennedy, Jensen, and Morgan are the big girls that made my Thanksgiving weekend so much fun.  I love these girls.
I rode the Merry-go-round all my myself at Pleasure Pier in Galveston.
A pirate and me.
A second pirate and me.
Bumper cars.  This may have been my first time to be on a bumpber car.

Morgan, Kennedy, and me.
Kennedy and me.
This was a fun ride.  It went up and down . Kennedy held me hand so she would not be scared.

I woke up before Mommy so I had to wake her up.
Daddy picked me up around 11am and took me over to Mimz' home where we had lots of family.  Mimz started cooking our Thanksgiving dinner yesterday and finished up today.
I had a great day and really enjoyed playing with the big girls: Morgan, Kennedy, and Jensen.  I played a lot with Uncle Scott too: football, baseball, and dump trucks. Everyone was very impressed with my language skills and smiled at the cute things I said.  Amber (cousin Donnie's daughter) brought her boyfriend over to meet us.  He is a fireman in San Antonio.  I asked him questions and showed him my fireman's boots and coat.
Everyone was amazed at the way I ride my scooter and I enjoyed showing off my skills.
I fell asleep before 8:30.  The girls hope I sleep somewhat late in the morning.
It was a very wonderful day for all of us.

******This is my third blog*****  The first two have used up their free space.******* The first two blogs are still available for viewing.

I did not want Mommy to leave this morning, so I was a bit clingy.   But as soon as she left I was okay and I started enjoying my day with Grandma.
We started by putting several pieces of carpeting in PaPa's pickup so we could dispose of them.  We ate breakfast and them started running errands.  We had to stop at ProLawn to get some work for Grandma.  The fun thing we did was go to HEB.  I chose a yellow cart with flames on the side.  I told Grandma to go to the bakery so we could get a free cookie.  The grocery store was packed with people shopping for their Thanksgiving groceries.  I had Grandma get me two Buddy Bucks and showed her how I used the machine near the door to get some points.  I am getting close to having enough points to get a little toy.
We also shopped for PaPa's Christmas gift.  I think Grandma plans to purchase it on Black Friday.  I can't tell you want it is because PaPa will probably read this blog.   (Hi PaPa!)
Back home I played at cleaning up the yard while Grandma sat in the yard watching me and doing some ProLawn work.  She took me to McDonald's for lunch and we got to go inside to eat.  I really like to do that.
I watched a little television while Grandma did more ProLawn work.   I slept for about ten minutes in the car and that was my nap.
Our neighbor Nicole was getting her car worked on so I went over to see what was going on.  Nicole watched me for a few minutes while Grandma got on the computer to do some work.  Nicole told Grandma that was the most I had ever talked to her.  Luke was not there so again we did not get to play.
