I woke up happy and ready for the day. I read a couple interesting articles in the newspaper about Legos and about baseball.
We played in my room with lots of different toys. I sure wanted to go play basketball with George but I can't until after my doctor's appointment and then only if I was very good all day. One of my fire stations fell onto the floor and came apart. Barbara sent time reading the instructions to get it back together.
Who knows what I was thinking when Barbara snapped this picture of me sitting partially in the washing machine!
I watched Emergency and half of The Wizard of Oz before I had to take a bath. I could have chosen a shower but I chose bath. Right before we were leaving for my appointment, George and Jackson came down to see if I could play. They came in and Jackson put a couple pieces into our jigsaw puzzle. I told them I would tell them all about my wart removal when I got back.
Traditional picture of me in doctor's waiting room. My doctor's appointment was scheduled for 2:10pm. The doctor apologized for the delay when he walked in at 3pm. This was the second time I have seen Dr. Muehe (Pronounced Mew - e).
He checked all my head parts, my heart, lungs, spine, penis, and my legs. He hit my knee with a hammer. I passed everything with flying colors.
Without shoes I weigh 45 pounds 3 ounces (52 percentile). My height is 3 feet 10 1/4 inches (73 percentile) so I am tall and lean. My BMI is 14.85 My blood pressure was 99/74. My temperature was 97.2 degrees. I am in perfect shape.
They tested my hearing and my eyes.
Dr. Muehe used liquid nitrogen to freeze my wart. He said it would hurt some while he did the freezing. It took less than two minutes.
It did hurt but I was a trooper and barely made any sound. He said I took it better than most teenagers would. I will get a blister and in a few days it will get better. My part is to not pick at it. Wearing a bandage will help me not pick at it.
We stopped at Walmart because we needed bread and grits. We also got another box of brownie mix and also some banana nut muffin mix. Barbara and GGM always make these things from scratch so this a quick treat for them to not have to really bake.

My dad called but I was asleep. I called him back when I woke up. I like having him call to chat with me.
After Mommy left for work, Barbara went over to our old house to do some work. I wanted to stay home with GGM. She agreed to play with me for the hour or so Barbara would be gone. We played in my room. I used to have three rooms, now I only have one. We got rid of some things, so everything I have fits except for my outside toys.
Barbara and I played 911 Dispatch again. It is such a fun imaginative thing to play.
I like eating Grandma's very spicy crackers with tuna salad, but I make sure I have a glass of milk ready to cut through the hotness.
I was a good boy all day, with no back talk of any kind or bad attitude.
After dinner Mommy came upstairs and watched Barbara and I play 911 Dispatch. Then she joined in and was a 911 caller. Barbara is an animated actress and made us laugh.
Barbara managed to hook up a DVD player to her TV and I watched most of The Incredibles (?) I got sleepy so I asked her to stop it and I would finish watching it tomorrow. I think that is the second movie I have ever watched with Barbara. The first one was Cars.

I woke up at 7:17am full of vim and vigor. I didn't have a fever. Normally I eat my grits plain but Mommy wanted some made like PaPa fixed them for her brother and sister and her when she was a little girl. Scrambled egg and cheese mixed into the grits. I ate three bites and said I didn't like it. They want me to eat a few bites every day and they think I will develop a taste for it.
I was upset when I saw George out playing basketball and Barbara would not let me go play with him. My punishment for a misdeed.
Grandma took me to my swim lesson this morning. She had to drive Barbara's car so she would have a car seat. Barbara drove Grandma's car to take GGF to a dentist appointment. He is getting a permanent crown put on his tooth today. Barbara goofed and had both appointments at the same time. She forgot Mimz would be off enjoying herself in Alaska and she would be taking care of me this Wednesday. But Grandma could help so it was not a problem.
I am enjoying watching Fireman Sam shows on the iPad. I haven't watched them in a long time.
I wanted some brownies so Barbara and I went to Kroger to get a box of Brownie mix. We also stopped to fill the car with gas. I got to help. This was the first time I have been to a gas station with her. Normally I will not be with her when she fills the car with gas.
George and Jackson knocked on our door to see if I could come play. Barbara told them I could play on Saturday or Monday but not today.
GGM gave me a pair of her knee high hoses. I wore them on my arms all the way up to my shoulders. I looked like an alien.
I came up with a new game. 911. I had two toys that resembled a dispatchers telephone equipment. Barbara played many different characters calling 911. I was the dispatcher and sent police, fire or ambulance to help all the people. A couple of people were calling the emergency number instead of the non-emergency police number. I had to set them straight.
Well, late in the afternoon, I got in trouble for demanding Barbara's iPad and not listening when Barbara wanted to use if for a minute. I now will not be using her iPad the rest of the week. About an hour later, I got in trouble for refusing to return Barbara's phone to her. I now will not be using her iPhone the rest of the week.
That all made me mad and I was angry for the rest of the evening. I was rude to GGM and Barbara and my mom. I ended up getting some swats and spending the evening in my room. I can't or won't explain why I am rude and talk back to these people who love me and spend time with me and do so many things for me. Mommy ended up falling asleep in my bed with me.
Mimz called from Alaska and we had a very nice conversation. She really misses me and I miss her.

Today was all about Anna Kate. We drove to Kristan's school to get Baby Girl. Kristan got to show her baby to her co-workers. They all got to ooh and aah about what a cute baby she is. On the drive home I kept AK happy with my silly antics.
We have to keep the doors closed or she will head straight for the staircase. If she hears someone on the other side of the door, she makes a B-line to the door. We changed her diaper, feed her cereal with fruit and played with her before we put her down for a nap. Then GGF, Barbara, and I went to Walmart and Kroger. We had time to eat lunch before AK woke up, then we played with her the rest of the afternoon.
She was a happy girl and I was happy to help make her happy.
I saw George out playing basketball. I can't play with him the rest of the week. It is my punishment for disobeying Barbara. I sure don't like it. I hope I learn a lesson...
Mimz texted that she and her friends spent the day on a glacier in Alaska. They are having a wonderful time. That makes me happy.
I had a slight fever this evening and went to bed early.
Monday, July 27, 2015
GGF came with Barbara and me to my swim lesson. I have a big right arm, but I have a weaker left arm. Mr Alex is working with me to use my left arm more.
The three of us went grocery shopping at Walmart. I was a big help locating what we were after. We bought me some mini chocolate chip muffins as a treat. We bought GGF some ice cream sandwiches as his treat.
I played down at George's house three different times. The temperature was 97 degrees but that did not deter me. We can't play Dodge Ball in the house any more, because our big room is now my mom's new home. When it cools off we will play Dodge Ball outside.
GGM, Barbara, and I played Old Maid. GGM was the Old Maid all three games. We played a matching game and GGM won that game.
Around 4pm, both GGM and Barbara were tired of my terrible attitude, and back talk, so Barbara put me in my room and I stayed there until my mom got home. Barbara gave me two swats when I back talked again.
I was nice for my mom, but it wasn't long before I was refusing to listen to her when she said no to something. I ended up back in my room and I also was giving an even worse punishment for leaving my room and running outside: I can not play basketball with George the rest of the week. I said I didn't care... but I won't like it.
I took my bath and was asleep before 9pm.
Mimx texted that she and her friends did the zip line excursion. She said it was wonderful. No one got hurt, like Barbara did. Her knee is all well now. Well, it is still bad, but it has been bad for fifty years.

Today was moving day number 2. Mommy and I will sleep at our new home tonight. PaPa was sore from helping load the pool table slate into his friends truck so he stayed home to work on his swimming pool equipment.
Grandma helped Barbara and Mommy pack and move things. We only lack moving food from pantry and the refrigerator and things in the garage. Then we will have the house almost empty except for the furniture Andy is going to use at his house. I spent the day playing with Jon Jon. That was a big help since I tend to want to help work and that tends to slow down progress. One day I will be big enough to be a really big help.
Everyone was wiped out at the end of the day. Except me. I was full of vim and vigor. Sweet dreams.

Mimz, I hope you and your friends are having a great time on your cruise!
I played with Jon Jon all morning, while PaPa, Grandma, Mommy, and Barbara worked on packing, cleaning, and moving.
Mommy and I went to Jon Jon's little sister's swim birthday party. I had a blast. The party continued back at their house. Mommy and I were invited to go out to eat with the relatives. I went but Mommy went home to work more on our move.

Today is a moving day number one. There will be at least three of these days. PaPa and Grandma started their morning by taking their paddle boat to their new land so they could paddle around the 30 acre pond.
Yesterday PaPa went there to fish and he caught four big ones which he throws back into the lake! He was really tickled.
My dad sometimes sends me pictures by text of the construction sites he is working at.
He goes to these sites to talk to the bosses to see if they need him to order any materials. He is a good salesman and enjoys his job.
I enjoy having Daddy tell me about this pictures.
I hope I can visit a work site soon.
I was cold so I wrapped up in a blanket on GGM's bed. Barbara turned on Handy Manny and I promptly fell asleep for about 30 minutes. Now I am rested and can hardly wait for 12:45pm so we can leave for Pump It Up
Papa drove his truck so they can start moving our belongings. I think we will spend one last night at my old home tonight. The first item they tackled was my bed and the boxes that Mommy and Barbara have packed. Mommy wishes she could be there to help but she has to work.
My bed will go where Hastings is sitting.

He is going into a garage sale. It will be sad to see him go, but change is a part of life.
At 12:45pm Barbara and I leave all the moving chaos to drive to Pump It Up where we met Eli, Jacob, Hank, and a friend of Hanks.
So there were five boys in our group. Hanks mom had free passes for us all. We played in two large rooms and we played well together. We ran and ran and ran from one bouncy house to another. We played non-stop for two hours.
We got in a wind tunnel where the wind got up to 100 mph. Look at Eli's hair.
Hank and Eli and I played on this hockey table. We are the three boys who went to pre-school together.
Barbara bought me a vanilla shake with no whip cream from Jack In the Box. We were near Mommy's office so she said for us to drop me off so I could spend time with her at her office.
At home I played with Jon Jon. We went back and forth between our two homes. When it got dark, I had to come inside for the night.

Daddy took Mimz, Peg, and the Finches to the airport early this morning where they are starting their Alaskan vacation.
I ate my leftover taquito for my breakfast before I helped pack up GGF's VCR tapes. We moved them from the upstairs to a TV downstairs. Now we need to hook up a VCR for him.
GGM, Barbara and I played with water balloons. Oh what fun. Barbara always gets wetter than anyone else. I guess she is not a very good dodger.
Here I am holding four of our dodge balls. We play with eight balls and have them flying all around the big TV room. We played Dodge Ball three times today, about 30 minutes each time. I never tire of that game.
And we played Fireman while watching Emergency on TV. Magformers and Hide and Seek were two other things we played. GGM did stop to take a nap.
Barbara and I spend about an hour looking at scanned pictures of my mom when she was a little girl. Of course her brother and sister were in some of the pictures also.
I went with Jon Jon's family to watch Brice (he played on my old team) play baseball. I was a very good boy and I had fun. Back at my house, Barbara and Mommy were packing up our kitchen. They finished for the evening about the time I got home.

***I know I am behind. And I will try to get caught up soon. Just so much going on now with Christina moving, Andy moving, doctor's appointments for GG parents, and Mimz leaving tomorrow for her cruise to Alaska.****
After my swim lesson with Alex, I jumped off diving board and swam to the side. That was fun.
With GGM and Barbara I played lots of Dodge Ball. We played Chutes and Ladders and I learned to play Flinch which was one of Grandma and Barbara's favorite games to play together.
Barbara drove to Neal's Restaurant to met Mimz, so I could go with Mimz to the airport to pick up Peg, who is Aunt Jill's mother and who is going on the cruise with Mimz and the Finches.
We then drove 40 miles to meet Uncle Scott and Aunt Jill for dinner. Morgan is at camp.
At the restaurant a lady made a machine gun for me out of balloons.
We stopped for Tutti Fruiti frozen yogurt, then home to Mom.
Grandma talked with a realtor today about listing our home for sale. It will happen very soon.

I played all day with Barbara and some with GGM.
We played Dodge Ball as much and as often as I could get them to play that fun game.
We played some made-up games, like toss the bottle caps into this sponge thing.
I wore a blindfold doing some Ninja moves.
Mimz gave us a headband, that we used as a slingshot. We played "pull the belt off the other person", Flinch card game, and Shoots and Ladders. When Barbara and GGM were too tired to play any more, I watched on episode of Chips.
Barbara took me home so she could help Mommy pack more. I went down to Jon Jon's home and ate dinner with his family and then we played.
Professionals took the pool table apart and packed it for a trip to Lousiana. Papa is giving it to one of his co-worker friends.

Barbara met Mimz and me at my swim lesson.
After the lesson, Mr Alex talked to Mimz and Issac's grandmother.
Issac will be 5 in January.
Today was another fun filled day. Mimz, Barbara, and I met Eli and his family (Meritza, Jacob, Beanca, and Zoey) at Splash Town. Mimz and I have summer passes. Barbara bought a one day pass for $32. She had a great time and wants to come again next year. At Christmas you can buy a season pass for $54. If you only go two times, it pays to get the season pass which includes free parking.
Barbara and Mimz didn't take their phones in the water so they didn't get any pictures, but Meritza has a waterproof phone and she did, so we will try to figure out how to get those pictures and add a few.
This place is awesome. We played in several different areas. We would stay in one place for a long time and then move on to another area. The River Walk, the big slides, the Wave park, the little kid area. Every part is fun. We ate lunch there. We all wore life jackets just to be on the safe side.
We were there probably more than four hours. I went home with Barbara. We made homemade fudge-cicles. We played Dodge Ball until I noticed George was outside. I hurried outside to play basketball with him until Mommy came to get me.
Barbara took this picture from upstairs at our home. It is very dark but if you zoom in you can see GGM sitting in a chair and I am almost hidden by a tree, but is shows us at George's playing basketball.
This is the souvenir book both Mommy and Grandma bought me in Alaska. They didn't know they both bought the same book until they were back on the ship.

Oh man, what a great day!
My dad took me to the circus. It was held in the same arena that I did my mutton busting.
He bought me a laser sword. Oh I love these kind of toys.
We ate corn dogs before the circus and ....
...snow cones during the show.
There were clowns...
... elephants....
... huge elephants, acrobats, tigers... They had every kind of circus act there is. I think my favorite was the motorcycle acts. Well, I enjoyed everything really. So did my dad. He loves our father-son days.

This was a fun day.
It started with my morning chore. Barbara and I washed her car. We both had on swim suits so we could get wet.
Well, I got wet, but nothing compared to how wet Barbara got. We started out with us both washing and rinsing, but I quickly changed that to Barbara washing an area of the car, then I would rinse, except I had the hose on Barbara a lot. She could barely see out of her glasses. We all laughed a lot.
One time I fooled Barbara: We had finished washing the car and had rinsed out our bucket. I told Barbara I wanted to fill the bucket and then pour it on myself. We filled it, Barbara was trying to help me lift the bucket so I could pour it on me, but instead I poured it on her. I hollered, "I fooled you!"
We picked our last cucumber. I think we probably grew about 40 cucumbers from a 88 cent package of seeds.
Daddy sent me pictures of his work site. I talked on and on about my dad working in outside sales. He has to wear a hard hat when he is on one of these construction sites.
Except for watching one episode of Chips, we played "ball" all day. Dodge ball, tiny rubber balls from the dentist, baseball, and basketball. Anything that had a ball in it we played.
The very best part of the day was playing basketball with George. George is 15-years-old and he plays basketball on his driveway all the time. George knows both of my great grandparents. GGM took me to his house and introduced me to him. I was shy at first, but only for about ten seconds.
Jackson, a 9-year-old neighbor that I already knew was there too. The three of us boys played for more than 30 minutes. GGF and Barbara both came down to watch us.
Normally George has the goal 10 feet high. He had lowered it to 9 feet for Jackson, and he lowered it to 7 feet when I arrived.
I took my big basketball, that Mimz had bought me, but decided I needed my smaller, lighter, basketball.
I learned how to do a lay-up.
I had a great great time. George said several times, I could come down and play anytime. He also said, I could knock on the door and he would lower the basket for me.
When I came home, I had sweat dripping from my hair. Boy, what a fun fun time I had. I didn't know it but Barbara had told Grandma that a big basketball goal would be a good Christmas gift for me. My mom, Andy, and Bridget had a goal that they used on our dead-end street.
I spend very little time sitting still. Here I am a mountain climber with a safety belt around my waist. I am moving all the time.
Daddy picked me up after work to start our boys weekend.
