I spent the morning with Daddy.  Mommy worked half a day but when she got off work she took me to Bouncy Bears and I had a blast.  I liked everything I did there.  I really liked jumping on the big blue blow-up with Mommy.
Daddy and I went to a New Years Eve party.  I wish us all a joyous and peaceful 2013.

I am behind of the blog and I don't remember what I did today.
Today Barbara drove back from visiting with Grandma and Grandpa in Arkansas.   She enjoyed the peace and quiet and spedning time with her parents.  She is glad to be back with me too.

When Barbara is out of town I get behind on my blog.  I hope to catch up soon.

Daddy bought me two new cowboy hats.  These are not expensive cowboy hats like my good one...
...so that means I can play with them on and not worry about getting them dirty or damaged.

I worked hard yesterday, helping put away Christmas and riding my scooter.  I took a two hour nap and still slept from 9pm to 8:30am this morning.
I really enjoyed breaking the pieces of this puzzle apart, but I did not want to work that hard at putting it back together...
... but after working on it for a time, then doing something else, and coming back to work on it later, I finally got it put together.   The puzzle was another present from Santa.

Mimz had a second plumber come to look for the water leak.  When I saw him get out his flashlight, I ran to my room to get mine and I then went all over the house looking for leaks.

Mimz and I took down our Christmas decorations today in between play sessions.  All the decorations are packed and ready for the attic.  Mimz said she really enjoyed all the work getting ready for Christmas because I was old enough to enjoy everything.  I really did enjoy everything about Christmas this year.

The temperature was in the 40s today, but I still wanted to be outside riding my scooter.  I wore my little fireman's gloves.  I kept insisting that I was not cold but I would tell Mimz she had better go inside and warm up a bit and I would go with her.   Mimz made potato soup that warmed us up.

Daddy and Uncle Scott wanted us all to go out for dinner on Mimz and Pops 42nd wedding anniversary.  We worked hard today and it was raining so we decided not to go out tonight.
Around three o'clock I fell asleep with Mimz holding "her sleeping helper" on the sofa so I must have been tired.

Daddy brought me over to Mimz' where we had a big pancake breakfast.  Then we went outside to ride my scooter.  It was cold so I wore my fireman's gloves.  The cold did not bother me one bit.  I just love being outside.
Mimz and I went to visit Aunt Kathy and out to eat.

Merry Christmas, Everyone.  Joy to the World.
Santa Claus came to Mimz' home while I was asleep.
Daddy had as much fun as I did seeing what I got.
Mommy and Mimz were there watching me have a wonderful time.
Me dressed as a pirate.
Me dressed as a construction worker.
Mommy, Daddy, and I went over to Mommy's house so I could see what Santa Claus brought me at my home.  Grandma and PaPa here also.
He left me the red kite I had been wanting for so long.  I also received a giant Mr. Potato Head and some power tools.  I was thrilled to have more tools to put in my tool box.
It was a windy day, so Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, and I drove to the elementary school to fly my kite.  It went up on the first try and it went so high we used up the entire string.  I loved my first attempt at flying a kite.  I especially loved flying it all by myself.
Thank you Santa Claus and everyone for making my fourth Christmas a very fun day.
Daddy and I went back to Mimz' home to eat another big dinner.  I love doing what my dad is doing.  I even look like him in this picture.
The three inches of snow that was forcasted for Bella Vista did not happen, which is a good thing since people need to be able to drive safely home after enjoying spending Christmas with their families.

Late last night Barbara was told that Bella Vista expected to get three inches of snow on Christmas Day, so this morning she and my great grandparents decided to drive home today in good weather rather than risk driving in snow on Christmas Day.  They left here at 7:30am and drove 600 miles, stopped to get groceries, and to eat dinner and arrived home at 7pm.  Long day, but easy drive.  Traffic was not bad.  It was warm in Tomball when they left here and almost freezing in Bella Vista when they arrived home.  A fun thing: the next door neighbors had their Christmas lights on when they arrived home.  That was a nice greeting.

Mommy explained to me that Barbara took my great grandparents home and that she would return to me.  Since she will return that was okay with me.  I spent the morning playing with my new toys, especially my fire station.
Mommy, Grandma, and PaPa took me to get my picture taken with Santa Claus.
I was very good, a bit reserved, but I went willing to sit on Santa's lap and answered his questions, but only one word answers.  Mommy had to help me say what I want Santa to bring me: a red kite.
I was happy because I was now sure I would get the red kite I asked Santa to bring to me.Aunt Jill, Uncle Scott, Morgan, Mimz, Mason, and Chris Watson.
Mimz took me to church and to Uncle Scott's for the Watson family Christmas celebration.

This was another great family day.  All the big kids and PaPa stayed up until 4:30am playing poker.  My mom and Andy were the winners.  Mommy ended up $30 ahead.

I was up at 7am.  All the big kids slept in.  Daddy's car did not start when he first tried it, but finally it started.   The same time Daddy was leaving, GGM Avis, GGF John and Barbara drove up.  I really wanted to put on  my "man's suit" but everyone kept saying it was just for special occasions like going to church and Christmas celebrations.  I was still not convinced I should not be wearing it.

All day someone played with me and my new toys.  I spent a lot of time playing with my new fire station.  And we spent just as much time playing outside with my new baseball catcher and thrower that Chris gave to me.  Everyone took turns playing ball.  We watched football, ate left-overs, and played a couple of games.

Between 3 and 5pm everyone left for home.  By 6pm I was home taking a nap.  When I woke up I found Charlie, my Elf, had moved.

He was peeking over a picture of Andy and Kristan on their wedding day.  We playing with my new fire station in my big toy room.

Today the Laplante family had their Christmas celebration, so everyone could be there.  Andy and Kristan will be with the Kieschnick family on Christmas Day and Bridget and Chris will be with the Berneche family and I will be with the Watson family.
Bridget loved playing Auntie, holding me while we watched Fireman Sam on the iPad.
Chris enjoyed rough-housing with me...
...and I enjoyed it too.

When Barbara got here, I jumped in her car and pretended I was driving a big fire truck.
Great Grandpa and I enjoyed a coffee-chocolate milk break.
PaPa and I had work to do..
I followed behind him while we used our blowers...
...I got anything he missed.
Two men hard at work.

Daddy drove up to get me so he could get my haircut....
These are the before pictures...
...and after my haircut.
Mimz took me to Mass and I saw some men dressed up nicely.  I told her that is what I wanted to wear, so she dressed me in my special gentleman's outfit.
When we arrived at the lake, Daddy....

and Mommy worked to get my outfit just right.
This is what I call a gentleman cowboy.  Front ....
... and back.
Mommy liked all of these pictures of me ...
...so they all made the blog.
Most everyone was outside watching PaPa fry a turkey.
Look closely and you can see Kristan and Andy between Bridget and Chris.
Kristan and Andy.
Chris and Bridget.
Great Grandmother Avis sat down to take a break from cooking.  Grandma was still very sick, so she either napped or supervised the cooking from the other room.
There were twelve of us so six people sat at one table...
... and six at the other.  I was supposed to sit with the adults (PaPa, Grandma, GGM Avis, GGF John, and Barbara, but I ended up sitting with the kids (Andy, Kristan, Bridget, Chris, Mommy, and Daddy.)
I was so ready to eat and open presents.  I was trying to be patient.
I had on a bib to protect my special gentleman cowboy outfit.  I did eat some Mac and Cheese before everyone else got to sit down to eat.   PaPa said grace.
It looks like there are a lot of presents under this tree, but by the time you divide it twelve ways, it wasn't too much.  I did get more than my share, but I am also the only child.
PaPa was so surprised to find a tool box in the garage.  He still does not know how it got there.  (It was hidden in the neighbor's garage until Andy and Chris moved it when PaPa was in the house.)

Finally it was time to open presents.  The first gift I opened was a toy vacuum sweeper.  Oh, how I will love helping with vacuuming.  Remember I love to help with all kinds of chores, even housework.
I was thrilled with each gift I opened, like this pirate ship for the bathtub.
Occasionally I needed Mommy or Daddy's help to get a box open...
...but mostly I could do it all by myself.

Daddy loved this gift from Andy and Kristan,  the Hulk boxing gloves.
I made out like a bandit, but it couldn't be helped.  I am the only little child and everyone wants to shower me with gifts.  I got books, clothes, a Nabi tablet, a fire station, a baseball throwing and hitting toy (that we played with a lot the next day) and money for my college fund.
This gift to Andy from Bridget and Mommy was meant as a joke.  He was so stumped and worried all day about what it was...
It was a big big old cowboy hat...
...the real gift was the neon Houston Texans emblem.  He was pleased with his gift ...  and wanted to keep the old hat!
Chris gave Bridget a new OU "O" club ring to replace the one that had lost its stone.  "O" club members are OU athletes.  Mommy and Bridget both received iPads.  Andy and Kristan got big rolls of money to go towards a washer and dryer.
