Mommy brought me over to Barbara's this morning but she forgot my backpack for school, so we had to make up  one with a spare set of clothes.  I have never had to use my spare set of clothes in all the time I have gone to school, since age 18 months.

On the drive to school, I asked Barbara to tell me a story about a policeman and a bad guy.  She said she didn't know any stories about bad guys.  I asked her to just make up one.  We finally agreed on Captain Hook as the bad guy.

After school I had a nice surprise.  Barbara drove me to the school where she often meets Mimz to hand me off.  Waiting there was PaPa and Grandma and GGM.  PaPa was on his way to the airport and he wanted to say bye to me.  I sure will miss him, but fortunately GGF will use the blower with me.

A funny thing:  Some cinnamon and sugar and some pepper somehow got put in the same shaker.  Barbara put some on her scrambled eggs.  GGM put some on her potatoes.  They both thought something was a little off but not bad and really did not know there was cinnamon and sugar in the pepper shaker.  It was funny when they realized something was "really" a bit off.

GGM, GGF, Barbara, and I had a cinnamon toast picnic today.  I have a good appetite when I eat outside. 
Barbara has a cold and felt really bad today but she wasn't sick enough to go to bed.  I did not take a nap even though Barbara tried really hard to read me a boring book that would put me to sleep so she could nap.  My great grandparents were with Grandma shopping for a new mattress.  They found one and it was delivered at 7:50pm.

At 5:30pm we had a houseful of people.  Andy, Kristan, Andy's friend Cody, Mommy, Grandma, Barbara, GGM, and GGF and me were at my old home.  They were there to move furniture.  I was right in the middle of the work until Mommy got there.  She took me across the street to play with Luke My GG parents now have the downstairs bedroom, Barbara is back in her old bedroom, and the purple Lolita room is the guest bedroom.   I still have my old bedroom, but now it is also my toy room.  Thank you everyone for helping out.

Now they can start unpacking boxes.  In a couple of months the master bathroom is going to be remodeled, but for now we are hoping to just find a home for everything.  Mommy and I are still trying to do the same thing at our new home.

We used little OU megaphones as cones and I was very capable of riding around them.

Luke and I had fun riding my little trikes even though they are almost too small for both of us.  We played all morning and mostly we played nicely, but not always.  Barbara has a cold but she did sit outside all day watching us and refereed only when she had to.  Luke could get me into a lot of trouble if we were not supervised.

After lunch, I took a two hour nap, then I played outside by myself with Barbara watching.  There is much less trouble when I play by myself.    After dinner, Uncle Brad mowed and I helped.  While he mowed I was in my yard.  When he would stop I would go help him empty the grass catcher.  He had a seed spreader by the curb to be taken away by the trashmen, and I decided to use it as a mower while he blowed.  After seeing what a good "mower" it was, he will keep it for us boys to use to mow.  He is a good man.

For the past week, my great grandparents and Barbara have been working 1000 piece puzzles and I do not bother the puzzle.  They have worked five puzzles this week.  I do help turn all the pieces over when they are just starting a puzzle, but after that I know I can't work them and I respect that they do like to work them, so I leave it alone.  I have sat on Barbara's lap and she shows me what she is looking for to find two pieces that go together.

I finally agreed to eat some dinner.  I had three small bowls of Fiber One cereal with milk, no sugar.  I even like Fiber One as a snack.

Mommy and Daddy came to get me.  We stopped at subway to get a couple sandwiches.  I got a cookie. 

I went out to eat breakfast with Mimz and Daddy.

Daddy took me to get my hair cut by Miss Karen.

My parents took me shopping and bought me new tennis shoes and some bath toys.  They also bought me a little Cars trike.  Luke and I had a great time riding both of my little trikes even though they both are somewhat small for us.

Back at Mimz' home I rode my scooter.  I was probably dreaming about riding motorcycles.

Mommy came to get me around noon.  We went over to Barbara's home (my old home) to get more of our belongings.  I fell asleep so I stayed with Barbara for three hours while Mommy went home to keeping getting our new home in order.

PaPa and Grandma helped move some furniture from the garage into the house.  Slowly but surely we are getting closer to finding a home for our belongings.

I spend the evening at home with Mommy.

Right after Mommy brought me over to Barbara's GGM fixed me some pancakes and I gobbled them up. 

Then I went outside to use the "real" blower with GGF.  I manage to keep all three of them busy most of the day.  Barbara says she can get a lot more done now that she has two willing helpers.

I did something that sure surprised Barbara.  I was counting down for blast off and I said these three numbers in a row:  47, 48, 49.  She didn't even know I new these numbers!

I did not cough all morning until GGM, GGF, Barbara, and I were playing Keep Away and I got winded.  Also if you meantion "cough" I will start coughing.

Luke was not home but I did play with his tractor and trike until I told Barbara I was starving, so we went inside and heated up some Mac and Cheese and some leftover Chinese chicken and rice.  When I was finished I told Barbara, "I am not starving any more lets go outside again."

 I played for a long time with Luke's wagon and toys.

PaPa came over and I helped him talk to the floor guys.  We also used our blowers.  While we were blowing Mimz arrived.  She brought us all some Kolatchies, all kinds.  GGF ate one with some coffee right then and there.   After dinner, Barbara, GGM, and GGF all had a Kolatchie.  GGM froze the remaining Kolatchies so we would enjoy having some another day.

Mimz and I were headed to the mall so I could ride the carousel and play on the playground but I fell asleep.  Mimz changed directions and took me home.   I woke up around 4pm ready to play.  I ate a good dinner, Mommy brought over my medicine, and I played osme more.  Around 8:30 I was ready for a story and bed.   I asked Mimz to read Bravest of  All two times.  Then I fell asleep.

I woke up saying I did not want to go to school and it was obvious that I was not 100 percent well yet.   Barbara was taking GGF to an eye appointment and I wanted to go because I remembered that there was a toy room in that doctor's waiting room.

I went and I had so much fun playing like that little room was my own little play house.  The ladies who work in the office liked me and they gave me some Gummies and some Cheetos and a bottle of water. 

We stopped to get some Chinese food for our lunch.  GGF has found he really like the Honey Walnut Shrimp at Panda Express so he jumps at the chance to get that to eat.  We can't cook at home yet or we would not be eating out so much.  The floor guys hope to finish on Friday.

I really felt good all day long and I could have gone to school but it is hard to just before hand. 

I now like to be read long stories, not just picture books.  A few times this week, I have fallen asleep while Barbara has been reading to me.  This past weekend we talked about how Barbara read aloud to Grandma Brenda, Mommy and Andy when they were children.  I mean really long chapter books.  She was always willing to spend time playing with us and teaching us.  We are luck to have her in our lives.  She is probably to soft on all of us, but she can't help it.......

I had a three hour nap and woke up ready to play.  After work Mommy and Daddy took me out to eat dinner.  I had already eaten Mac and Cheese, leftover mashed potatoes, corn, and a little chicken.  I must be feeling better since I am now eating well at every meal.

I did not wake up all night, but I did cough several times in my sleep.
I shared a McDonald's big breakfast with Barbara.  I like it all and ate well.  GGM bundled me up and I went outside for about three minute then I decided I was cold so we went back inside.
I roughhoused with GGF, GGM, and Barbara.  They all tell me to be gentle when playing with babies, little kids, and old people. 
I refused to take my breathing treatment.  I am not afraid of the mask.  I will put in on like a fireman's mask, but when the inhaler is added I refuse to keep it on.  Mimz will be back in a couple of days.  They all hope she has better luck getting me to take the treatments.

I am good at using my fingers to show numbers.  I do one, two, three, four, five, and ten... and hook-em-horns.  

Barbara was telling me a story about Mimz and me deciding to go to the park.  She said, "Mason gathered up his helmet, knee pads, and scooter, while Mimz ran to get Mason's tennis shoes."  I stopped her and said, "Mimz can't run... unless we are running a race with cones."  (orange construction site cones) 

I felt good all day, only coughing occasionally.  When it warmed up we blew bubbles outside, played Keep Away, and I rode Luke's tractor.  Luke was not home today.  We stood on the staircase and watched the guys laying tile and putting down wood floors.  Barbara and I laid down to read stories and I fell asleep for three hours.

I now like to listen to long stories, instead of looking at picture books.  I am growing up more every day.

Mommy thought I was warm when I woke up.  A few minutes later Barbara came over to my house to take me to school and she agreed.  They were worried I might still have my ear infection.  Barbara managed to get me a doctor's appointment for 10:10.  Obviously I did not go to school.

I was not feeling great but that did not stop me from wanting to help PaPa wash the outside of the house.

At Dr. Lacour's office the waiting room was full of sick kids.  We had a long wait, but I was a good boy as usual.  I weighed 36 pounds, 3 ounces and was 40.5 inches tall.  My temperature was 98.7, which is normal.  Dr. Lacour examined my ears and said the infection was gone, my ears were clear.  The current problem was totally unrelated to the ear infection.  I have a slight case of bronchitis. 

I was given a 15 minute breathing treatment.  The strap that goes around my head kept pulling the mask up to close to my eyes, so we ended up taking the strap off and Barbara just held it in place.  She had to come up with some quick ideas to keep me willing to keep the mask on.  I was not scared of it, just didn't like it and wanted it off.  But we managed to get most of the medicine into my lungs.  Dr. Lacour said the treatment did help.  He gave me three prescriptions: an antibiotic to take for 5 days, a steroid to help break up the gunk in my lungs, and a breathing treatment.  I was a very well behaved patient.

I was also well behaved at the pharmacy.  Barbara and I met PaPa and Grandma at Lowe's to get a new toilet and new cabinet for the half bathroom at the Tomball house.

At home I ate lunch and took my antibiotic easily.  Later when it was time for me to take the other medicine I would not co-operate.   After I ate KFC for dinner,  Barbara managed to get just a little of the steroid into my mouth.  I was crying big time and in just a minute I upchucked my medicine and dinner.  (I think I have only thrown up two times before in my life.) 

 My temperature at home was normal all day.  I was not my normal self but I still wanted to play. I would go a long time without coughing then I would have a coughing spell.

I took a long nap.

Mommy was going to work early tomorrow, and I was still sick, so I spent the night with Barbara.  I stayed up later than normal but when I finally did go to sleep, I slept all night. 

Daddy brought me to Barbara this morning before going to work.  He bought me some donuts and chocolate milk because he know I like them.  He brought over two cowboy hats and my new blower and edger because he knows I like them.  He brought Monk Monk because he knows I love him.

Two men came today to lay new tile and new hardwood floors at our Tomball house.  They were the same two guys who laid our upstairs tile and wood floors.  They remembered me and I remembered them. 

 I played with Luke most of the morning.

We started out playing nicely but it didn't take long before we were arguing about what we were going to play and who was going to do what.  Barbara tries to let us work it out, but she is not very patient with the way we don't get along.  She would much rather we played inside than for me to play with Luke.  I think I just want to play with another little kid. 
I think when we start playing with water it will be easier for us to play nicely.

While Barbara and I went to bring home lunch for all of us, Luke played with my new blower.  Some how he got dirt and water inside of it and it was a big mess.  GGM tried to take it apart and fix it, but it needs more work and it might never be the same. 

We have decided to move all of my toys into my old bedroom.  That way GGF can watch his television shows without our noise bothering him.  Barbara and I worked at getting the room organized today. We are considering putting a little television in my toy room, but I think it has been decided to wait a week or two and see if that is really necessary.

GGF and GGM played catch and keep away with me today.  We do a lot of laughing while playing with balls.

I was happy to see Mommy and knew we were going to go back to our new home, but I was not ready to stop playing.  Instead of playing for 5 more minutes, I somehow extending the time to 35 minutes.

Grammie and Bubba flew back to Tennessee early this morning.  I was just warming up to them.  I hope they get to come visit again soon.

There was some old lanolium under the wood floor that I enjoyed tearing into pieces to put in the trash.Another big day of moving our belongings and a piece of Andy's furniture out of our Tomball house. 
PaPa and Grandma loaded the last of Mommy's furniture onto their pickup.  Mommy, Daddy, and I helped unload.  With Daddy's help Andy was able to get his armoire down the stairs and to his home.  One more weekend of this shuffling and we will have most of everyone's belongings where they belong.   

Daddy had to work so I spent the day at my new home helping Mommy.

 We worked in the yard.  Boy I wanted to get wet but I had on my good boots and cowboy hat so I knew better.

 Barbara drove over with her car filled with more or our belongings. And PaPa, Grandma, Grammie, and Bubba came over and helped two mirrows and some pictures and curtains. They were all glad I was there so Grammie and Bubba would have more time to interact with me.

I really wanted to go over to Barbara's to play so Mommy took me over there for a couple of hours.  I hoped Luke would be home to play with me but he was not there.

I helped GGF and Barbara put a large rug in the big toy room.  I needed something on that floor since my play mats are no longer there.  I started sorting my blocks by color.  Barbara brought me home with another car load of things.

This morning an exterminator came to spray at Mimz home.  I introduced myself and shook his hand.  I followed him around,talked, and was very interested in what he was doing.  Later Mimz and I were at the store and we saw a Black and Decker blower and edger.  Because I was so good with the exterminator, Mimz bought them for me.  I could not have received a better gift. 

PaPa had a big fish fry at the lake tonight.  Daddy, Mimz, and I arrived just in time to eat.  Everyone was there except Aunt B.  These were the people that were there:  PaPa and Grandma, Grammie and Bubba, Great Grandma and Great Grandpa, Andy and Kristan, Mimz, Barbara, Mommy, Daddy, and me.  And special guests were Rosemary Lipinski, and her daughter and son-in-law Laura, and Ron.  The Lipinski family has been friends of Grammie and Bubba for forty years.

I was shy with everyone at first, but by the end of the evening I was much more outgoing.  I brought my new blower and edger.  PaPa and I used our blowers and later Barbara and used the blower and edger.

Right before it got to dark to work outside, Andy and I used my new blower and edger.

When it was time for us to drive home, Daddy dressed me in my favorite pj's (which just happen to be Christmas pj's) so he could just carry his sleeping boy from the car to his bed.

I woke up at my new house.  Mommy and I got ready for work and school and took Maggie outside in the front yard.  Instead of Mommy taking me to Barbara and then her coming right back this direction to take me to school, Barbara drove over here to get me.

When Barbara got here, we all came inside.  In a couple of minutes, Mommy thought of Maggie and wondered if she was inside or if we had left her out in the front yard.  Barbara searched the house, while Mommy went outside.  Maggie had wandered to the side of the house.  She moves pretty slowly so she had not gone far.  We were relived that she was not lost.

We stopped at Mimz home on the way to school to give her my antibiotic medicine.  I take it so well and only have three more doses left.    We had a lot to show Barbara: the new patio cover, my new play room, and my new bed comforter. Barbara liked all the new things.  I wanted to stay and play, but Mimz did manage to snag me up and Barbara tossed me into my carseat and wrapped my seatbelt around me.  I went into school happily.

The painters finished at 7:45 last night at Barbara's home.  It was three hard days for the painters and for us to stay upstairs and out of the way.  We still can't put that house in order.... the floor guys come on Monday.  Hopefully they will finish in less than a week.

PaPa will be here when the painters finish today around noon.  Grandma picked Grammie and Bubba up at the airport.  

I was told I could only play outside in a short sleeved shirt.  I understood this and choose a long-sleeved shirt, so I played inside.  After awhile, my desire to play outside was greater than my desire to have on long sleeves, so I asked to change shirts.

Luke and I played for a couple of hours, most of the time we got along.   I got really dirty and had to have a bath in the middle of the day.  I also got four new bites, but the After Bite did the trick today.  The bites I got yesterday, did not react as well to the After Bite.  I still have ant bite spots from them.

PaPa, Grandma, Grammie, and Bubba came over for about an hour.

I was starting to warm up to them when it was time for them to go over to Andy's home.  Andy was at work, but Kristan was there.  They had been at my new home first and were there when a lady was installing our cable television.

I sure enjoy playing in Uncle Brad's flower beds.  And he sure likes me playing there.

 

I was hot and sweaty.  Luke threw dirt at me and it stuck to my face.  GGM said I could come home, but I insisted I wanted to stay and play.

I did come home for dinner.  I got my face partially cleaned before I ate.

After I ate, I needed it washed again!.Mommy came to get me after work.  We took several more boxes to my home.  I was not happy about going to my new home mostly because I wanted to stay to play with Luke if he came back outside.  It will take me a while to get used to this routine.  Mommy is looking forward to having me all to herself every evening and all night.

The painters left around 7:40pm.  It was three long days for GGM, GGF, Barbara, and me trying to live upstairs and stay out of the way.  It was also sort of hot since we turned off the air conditioning when they needed to have the doors or windows open.

 

I didn't have Monk Monk last night and I was fine with that, but this morning I said I wanted to go get him, so on our way to school Barbara and I stopped by my new home and got him.  He was still in the car when Barbara picked me up from school.  Barbara pointed out to me that I was the only child wearing a long sleeved shirt.  My two teachers said I should wear  a short sleeved shirt so I would be more comfortable.  It did not matter what they said, I am a cowboy and I want my long sleeved shirts.  I also wore jeans but so did a couple other boys.

I got a scratch on my face at school.  I think I did it with my hand, but I am not really sure.

I wanted to play with Luke when I got home, but he was not outside.  I did ride his tractor because he had said I could even if he was not outside.  After 30 minutes Barbara insisted we come inside, because it was just too hot for her and me.

I had a big lunchable at school but wanted more to eat, so I had two pancakes and a piece of cheese.  I ate a good breakfast also.  I have eaten well for the past two days.

GGM was working on a jigsaw puzzle but she stopped to watch the fun we were having. They are working a 1000 piece puzzle and I am leaving it alone.

I got in trouble for turning off the television while GGF was watching it because I wanted attention.  I then back-talked Barbara when she was putting me in Time Out.  That got me sent to my bed where I promptly fell asleep. 

I was playing with some painters tape, pretending it was bandaids.  Somehow I got a piece in my hair.  While I was trying to remove it I was crying.  GGM told Barbara to use some Vasoline to help remove it.  I whined but didn't lose a single hair.  The Vasoline did the trick.
I woke up, ate dinner on the patio, and then played with Luke until it was getting dark.
