James, one of the triplets, was in town so Mimz and I took him to Urban Air.  Oh, what fun!

Then we had lunch and went swimming at his grandma's home.  Still more fun!
Around 5pm, Mimz and I met Barbara at Sprouts so Barbara could take me to my last day of Baseball Camp.   I think I am the best all-round player in my age group.  I didn't strike out at all in this camp.... and if fact, I didn't strike out at all during my league season either.  That was a goal I had and I reached it!

We warmed up, played catch, ran a little, had batting practice, then we had a game.  It is a little different than a regular game.  Each boy on a team gets to bat then we switch.  Each boy gets four pitches from the coach, then if needed he uses a t-ball stand to get a hit.  I always got a hit right off that bat.

The last thing we did was a fun drill even though my team lost both times we did the drill.  One team stood near home plate.  My team stood near second base.  One boy had the ball and took off running the bases, when he got back to his team, he gave the ball to his teammate, and we did this until each boy ran the bases one time.  It was a fun exercise.

As a treat for finishing Baseball Camp Mommy took me to Bahama Bucks.  Another fun day of fun activities.

The party is over!

Everyone was busy packing up their cars to be out of the resort rooms by noon.  Then all of the family (Bridget, Chris, Grandma and Papa, Andy's family, and Mommy and I) spent the next few hours at the resort pool.  I went down the big slide a few times.   We arrived home around 4:30pm.  What a weekend!

Daddy came to pick me up and I spent the night at his house.

Today is Bridget and Chris' wedding day.

I shared a room with Mommy and Bridget.  I was still asleep at 9am.  As soon as I woke up, I took  antibiotic meds to treat my strep throat.  I'm feeling so much better.  We spend the morning getting ready for the 2pm wedding.   The wedding party rode on a big black shuttle bus from the resort to the church and after the wedding we did the same thing in reverse.
Bridget and Chris had a beautiful wedding. Bridget was a beautiful bride and Chris was a handsome groom.
I did a super job walking Anna Kate down the aisle.  She was such a cute flower girl.  As soon as she walked down the aisle, she went outside the sanctuary with Gigi, her maternal grandmother.  She played with Barbara's iPad and many times she wanted to come back inside but she wasn't allowed in because she would talk or run around.  She is not old enough to understand she can't behave like that.  I, on the other hand, knew to behave.  I did a good job of trying to hold still, but I still moved around like any seven-year-old boy would.

We had a couple of hours between the wedding and the reception.  At 6pm we went to the "meet and greet" (I don't know what the real name for this period of time is.)  People mingled around talking to one another.  Anna Kate and I found a long empty ramp that we could run on and play on.

At 6:30pm the doors to the ballroom were opened and we found out tables.  I was sitting at the head table with Bridget, Chris, and the wedding party.

After everyone found there seat, the wedding party made their way into the ballroom, and then Bridget and Chris made a grand entrance.  They danced their first dance together as husband and wife.  Then Papa made a speech.  Then Papa and Bridget danced.

Then we ate.  I had chicken tenders and tater tots, mac and cheese, and broccoli.  I ate all of my dinner except for the salad.  Anna Kate had the same dinner.  She sat on Barbara's lap while she ate.  Barbara had a large napkin covering AK's dress and was doing her best to keep ketchup off of the dress.  The dress didn't get a drop of food on it!

I don't remember the order of events, but my mom made the maid of honor speech and Matt Evans made the best man speech.  They both did a good job and got several laughs.

I think there might have been six children there:  Two were babies and two toddlers younger than Anna Kate.  I was the only older child.

We ate wedding cake and visited and danced.  I took off my tux jacket and shoes.  I was free to run around and enjoy myself.  I always returned to Mommy or Barbara after being gone for a few minutes then I'd run off again, always staying in the ballroom.

Barbara took a few pictures but not many.  She was either helping AK with her dinner or hold Bradley and the room was pretty dark so the lighting was not good for her iPhone picture taking.

Before everyone was finished eating, Anna Kate was out on the dance floor.  She was out there about 15 minutes before anyone else joined her.  I sort of went out there, but I was a little embarrassed so mostly I stood around the edge of the dance floor and watched AK.   Then other people went out and I was on the dance floor but I didn't really dance much.   Since I wasn't going to dance, Barbara and GGM left before 9pm.  When there were a lot of people dancing, then I was out there joining in the fun.

I don't know what time I went to bed, but I did take my antibiotic meds before bed.

I'm still a bit under the weather, but I'm so much better than I was yesterday and the day before.  Yesterday I only left the sofa three times to go to the bathroom and I had Mimz hold my hand and walk with me because my head hurt so much and I was dizzy.  I even sat down on the toilet  instead of standing because I didn't feel like standing.

Today the antibiotic medicine is working.  I can walk normally.  At 9am my temperature was 99.8, the lowest it has been.  That was good news to start the day.

Daddy made scrambled eggs and toast for my breakfast and I ate a good amount.  I had a bath and Daddy fixed my hair.  I hope it stays looking nice all day.

I stayed with Mimz until round 2pm.  Mommy was at Bridget's bridesmaid brunch at Kristan's house.   I could have gone but we thought it was best for me to have this morning to rest.  The party didn't start until 10:30am but GGM and Barbara went over at 9am to take care of AK and Bradley so last minute things could be done for the party.   During the brunch GGM and Barbara entertained AK and Bradley.  Bradley can't really crawl yet, but he can push with his legs and pull with his arms and move all the way across the toy room.

I must take my antibiotic medicine for ten days to make sure the bug is gone.

Bridget's car and Mommy's car were full so we put the wedding dress in Barbara's car's back seat.  We caravan-ed to the wedding resort and got settled into our room.  Bridget is sharing our room today and tonight.

There is a large swimming pool with a huge water slide and waterfall.  I sure hope I get to go down that slide.

At St. Edwards Church we rehearsed.  I held Anna Kate's hand while we walked down the aisle.  I did great.  Oh, she did great also.  And she looked so cute wearing a little headpiece with long ribbon down her back. I stood still during the rehearsal but AK ran around.  During the wedding Kristan's parents will take charge of that little sweetheart and her baby brother.

We went to Grotto Ristorante, an Italian restaurant for the rehearsal dinner. The dinner was from 7 to 9:45pm.

I still didn't have a fever but to be on the safe side I took another dose of Tylenol.  I think it was 11pm before I went to sleep.

Notice how long my body is on the couch!

At 7am I was still running a fever and really was feeling bad.  Mimz had called the on-call nurse at 6:30am and gave her all of my symptoms and my current temperature of 101.6.  I was still complaining of bad headache and weakness.  The nurse faxed all of the information to the office.

At 8am, Mimz made me an appointment for 9:45am, but Mimz, Daddy, and I were there at 9:30am.  Mommy left work so she could come hear what the doctor said.  I saw Dr. Muehe.  Mommy and Daddy both met him for the first time and they both liked him.

Dr. Muehe commented on how long it had been since my last illness.  Remember I had perfect attendance during first grade.  I weigh 55 pounds and am 4'4" tall.

Turns out I had strep throat!  Bummer! The good news was I should be well for Bridget's wedding rehearsal and wedding.  That was a big concern.  We sure didn't want me to miss the wedding.  Who would walk Anna Kate down the aisle?  And of course, they wanted their handsome nephew to be their ring bearer.

Around 11am Mimz gave me my first dose of antibiotics and more Tylenol for my fever and headache.  It was decided that I would stay with Mimz since there is a lot of wedding activities
going on.  This way I can not expose anyone else (like youngsters AK and Bradley and my great grand parents) and can rest easily.  I shouldn't be contagious by the rehearsal.  But for now, no kissing or drinking or eating after me.  I also have to stay out of the heat because it can sort of trigger the fever again.

I felt so bad I didn't want to get off the sofa.  My head and stomach are my main complaint and I get a little dizzy.  The doctor said upset stomach is common along with the bad headache.  I felt so bad I wasn't even upset about missing my last two baseball games tonight.
Even though I had 102 fever I still wanted to eat.  Mimz fixed exactly what I wanted to eat: soup, crackers, and cheese.
Mostly I would sleep, or play games on the iPad or iPhone.  I visited with my dad a little before falling back to sleep.

Around 9pm I moved from the couch to Mimz' bed.  I said my head hurt so bad, especially when I walk.   My fever goes down with the Tylenol and four hours later it goes up again.  So I keep on taking it every four hours.  The fever keeps dragging me down.  I watched Paw Patrol before falling to sleep for the night.

Thank you, Mimz for taking care of me.

Barbara and I met Mimz at Sprouts at 9:45am so Mimz and I could meet Eli's family for our weekly trip to Wet n Wild.  That is such a fun place for us to spend a hot summer day.

Back at Mimz home we rested since I have baseball practice at 6pm.  GGM and Barbara brought my baseball gear over to Mimz' home.  I showed them my bunk bed.  I showed them how I climb the ladder to get to the top bunk.  They thought it looked really nice and it matches Pops childhood chest that is in my room also.

Mimz took me to my baseball practice.  We had water breaks because it was so hot outside.

Sometime in the evening I developed at fever.  It was 103.4 then came down to 102.8.  Daddy put me in a cool bath and they gave me alternating Tylenol and Ibuprofen.  I complained of a headache and
feeling dizzy.

Around 9:15pm I told Mimz my head felt like it was bruised all over then I said my whole body hurt.  We are hoping it is not the flu and that it was caused by too much sun today.  I have a big weekend ahead of me.... Bridget's wedding.  By 10pm my fever was down to 101.6.  I sat on the sofa with Daddy watching soccer US vs Jamaica.  I slept okay and Mimz checked my temp several times during the night just to make sure it wasn't going up.

Tuesday, July 25, 2017

I slept a little late today, and when I woke up I was hungry.  I wanted a frozen piece of raisin bread and then two pieces of raisin bread toast with butter and, of course, milk to drink
This is what my hair looked like when I woke up.
Wild child!

Daddy came to my home to get me and we went to the mall to a nice salon to get my hair cut so I would look super great at Bridget's wedding.

When I came back home I found Barbara playing Rider, a car obstacle course game.  She keeps trying to beat my top score.... that's not going to happen.  lol

Mommy took me to my baseball practice, then we went to the Pond so I could visit with Grammie and Bubba.  They flew in from Tennessee today to attend Bridget and Chris' wedding.

Monday, July 24, 2017

Mimz took me to Urban air from 11 to 1.  I am really getting good at all of the challenges.  My very favorite part is playing Dodge Ball.

We went home to eat, then Mimz and I went to Lems Elementary School to hit balls on their baseball field.  We both were hot and worn out but we both had a lot of fun.

Daddy took me to meet Barbara at Sprouts at 5pm.  She then drove me straight to my baseball camp from 5 :30 to 7:30pm.  Mommy arrived soon after 5:30pm.  I am probably the best 7 year old playing.  I am good at every skill and I have a very good concept of what the game is all about.

We went got home, I had Mommy play baseball with me, then Cole came down to play too.

I took a quick shower and ate cereal and raisin toast, before playing on the iPhone until I fell asleep.

Friday, July 21, 2017

As soon as GGM, Barbara, and I were dressed and had breakfast, we drove to The Pond to visit Papa and Grandma.  Papa was mowing and he needed my help.  I took a big bucket around the part of the yard where he was not mowing and picked up lots of pine cones and then I picked up the flags that were everywhere that marked where water lines and electric lines were buried.  We stayed less than an hour.

Back at home I played with four neighbor boys before going over to Andy's to help babysit AK and Bradley.

AK was so very happy to see me and even Bradley smiled really big at me.

Bradley can sit up but I kept close to him, just in case he was about to fall over.
We babysat for a few hours and I was a big help either playing with AK or helping feed Bradley or getting diapers and wipes for him.
I played with Bradley a little but mostly I played with AK because she is almost three years old and she is big enough to run and talk and laugh at the fun things I found for us to do.  I earned two stickers for being a big help babysitting.

Back home I played ball with Barbara and Cole until my dad to get me around 6pm.  I have a total of 9 home runs and when I get 10 I will win the Home Run Derby.  I get a home run if I hit the ball past the sidewalk.

I have forgot to write this:  My goal for this baseball season is to not have any strike-outs.... so far I am still on track.  But I know that that will be a hard feat to accomplish... but I'm making a good start.

Thursday, July 20, 2017

I forgot to write today.
I know the sky was beautiful during my baseball game.
I played most of the game at first base.
My fans were Mommy, GGM, Barbara, Mimz, and Daddy.
My new water shoes arrived.  I need them at Wet 'n Wild.

Wednesday, July 19, 2017

Mimz and I met Eli's family at Wet 'n Wild.  We had a great time just like we always do.

I took a nap when we got home.  After several hours in the sun and water I need to rest before I go to
baseball practice.

Back at Mimz' home, I watched the Astro's play.  I'm becoming a big baseball fan of all teams.  I learn a lot about baseball and how to play it from watching it being played.

Tuesday, July 18, 2017

I stayed up late last night watching the Astro's baseball game.  I fell asleep when the score was 7 to 7 with the Astro's having the bases loaded.  ... First thing I asked this morning was what was the final score.  9 to 7... but we lost!

It was 9am before I woke up.  I quickly ate breakfast (a frozen piece of raisin bread and & two pieces of toasted & buttered raisin bread and got dressed so we could take GGM to the DMV to get a Texas ID.   We had all the paper work we needed except for one little problem.  On-line is said a 1099 form would work as one form of ID.  It didn't mention that it had to be a 2016 -1099.    The one we took was from 2015.... they wouldn't except that.... so we came back home.  GGM and Barbara quickly found the correct year so they are ready to go back tomorrow.   Barbara had a gut feeling that we would not get it taken care of on the first trip.
This is the picture on Barbara's iPhone homepage now.  She has so many cute pictures of me, she changes the picture all the time.

I had a bowl of Fiber One cereal then I ran off to find Cole.  He had been in Colorado with his other grandparents for 15 days.  I'm glad he is back.
We came back to my room to play with iPads and iPhones and we played baseball outside.
We played all day except for the couple of hours I was gone for my soccer game.  My number is 5.  Coach Kim is giving us a pep talk.
Boy, we had a rough game.  We lost 11 - 1.  In our defense, we are a 7-and-under team.  All the teams we are playing are a 9-and-under team.  I played the forward position and 95 percent of the action was other part of the field.  In this picture I have the ball, on the let side near the middle of the field.
I won that battle, and I took off with the ball.

I came home to play with Cole and Alyssa.  Mommy took us to Bahama Bucks for a snow cone.
Cole was spending the night, so we had my trundle bed pulled out for him to sleep on it.  We played with our iPads under the covers.  We were asleep before 10pm.   Around 11pm, Cole got up and called his grandma to tell her he was not feeling good and he needed to come home.  His grandpa waked the distance of two houses and took him home.

In the morning Barbara called to see how Cole was feeling.  He was fine.

Monk Monk and I slept well in my new upper bunk bed.
Mimz bought me a pass to Urban Air so we went there this morning to burn off some of my unlimited energy!
I enjoy all of it and am getting more confident on the obstacle course up high on  ropes.
My favorite part is Dodge Ball.  I think I'm pretty good at it.

Mimz and I met Barbara at Sprouts at 4pm to exchange their precious cargo.

I had Farm league baseball practice from 5:30 to 7:30.  Barbara took me and Mommy came there after she got off work.   It is a really nice area.   Field 4 is for adults and big boys.  Four groups of kids, divided by age are on that one field practicing.  My group was near third base and left field.   We started with a lot of stretching exercises and then playing catch. Next a coach and four of us boys moved over to practice together on catching grounders and fly balls.  The coach had two balls going at once, so we were kept busy, not having to wait very long before we got practice.  We also practice running to a base to beat a thrown ball.  We were told to wear baseball pants and our cleats because we were going to practice sliding.  About half the boys did wear long pants... but we didn't practice sliding.  I was looking forward to sliding.
These coaches are high school and college coaches.  Besides coaching they talked to us and motivated us to keep trying and practicing to get better... at baseball and everything we try.

Last week we went through my closet and found out that all of my shoes are too small except for cleats, flip flops, and rain boots!  We went to Academy tonight to buy me two new pairs of tennis shoes.

Back home, I quickly took a shower so I could get in bed and watch the last of the Astro's baseball game.  I fell asleep when the score was tied 7 - 7 and the Astro's had the bases loaded.  I was just too sleepy to stay away any longer.

Sunday, July 16, 2017

I spend the morning with Daddy.  He took me over to Mimz so I could visit with her and watch the Astros play.
While we were talking I fell asleep.

I slept in my new bunk bed with Monk Monk for the first time.

Friday, July 14, 2017

Two night in a row staying up late has made me sleep in today.   I woke up early to visit with Mommy and Grandma before they left for their scrapbooking retreat.  Then I went back to sleep until 10:18am!  I still was not ready to get out of bed, so I laid there under the warm covers watching a baseball video for another hour.

I watched the videos Barbara had taken of my two games last night.  I wish we could put them on my blog but they are generally too long to be allowed on here.

We asked Andy and Kristan if we could come over to play wit the kids and swim but they are going out of town.

I called Daddy and he said he would come get me after he had his hair cut by Miss Karen.  I ate breakfast and visited with Barbara.  Then we talked about my reading challenage and decided what more I needed to do.  I have seven challenages finished and have four more to do.  We hope to finish it up this next week.

I didn't want lunch before Daddy arrived because I hadn't eaten breakfast until after 11am.  But I did agree to eat a piece of strawberry cake with fresh strawberries on top, no frosting.  It was yummy.   I practiced with a bat and ball outside by myself for about ten minutes until Daddy arrived.
July 13, 2017

I spend the day with Daddy or with Mimz.

Mimz purged my clothes and found some that she will give to Maritza for her boys to wear.  I enjoyed drinking a root beer float.

One really exciting thing that happened was the arrival of my new bunk beds for my room at Mimz' home.  There were to be delivered between 2 and 6pm. We were hoping it would be early so I would be there instead of at my baseball game.  I was resting/sleeping on the couch when the men arrived to deliver it and all of a sudden I was wide awake.
I will sleep on the top bunk first and another night on the botton bunk.  The top bunk is a twin bed, the bottom bed is a double bed.
The dresser in my room at Mimz' was Pops when he was a boy.  They match my new bunk beds perfectly.  A funny thing:  my dresser in my room at home was Papas when he was a boy.
GGM remembered she had light green twin bed sheets and a matress pad and she offered them to Mimz.  Mimz was very pleased to have them.  They were GGF's bedding when he was using a hospital bed, so they were almost new.

I had two baseball games tonight.  We won the first game 9 to 8.  We lost the second game somehing like 10 to 2.  I played great!  I played first and third base, and center field.  Most of the time, I was on first base.  I caught a few thrown balls for outs at first base.  I would have made more if the ball had been thrown to me instead of over my head, etc.

I had good hits everytime I was up to bat.  My fans were Mommy, GGM, Barbara, Mimz and Daddy.  Of course, they really enjoy coming to see me play because I play so well and get a lot of action in every game.  I did manage to score one run and of course I had to slide into home plate even though it was not necessary.  I started enjoying falling when I was just a new walker and I still love falling.  I'm one of the best!

Mommy and GGM are at a scrapbooking weekend things, so I went home with Barbara and GGM.
I was starving even though I had just eaten a baseball snack and drink.  I had a bowl of Fiber One cereal, a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and two scrambled eggs with hot sauce.
I was just stepping out of the bathtub when Mommy got home.  I streaked down the hall to greet her with my towel flying behind me.  I did get on underwear before Grandma got upstairs.  Mommy and I played catch with a rubber ball while we talked about my baseball games.   No way was I ready for bed, so I was given twenty minutes on the iPad, then it was lights out.  Grandma slept in my bed and I was trying to sleep on Mommy's love seat.  Mommy fell asleep first, so I went to Barbara's room complaining that I couldn't get to sleep.  I got into her bed, we turned off the lights and Barbara told me a three stories about GGF.   Before each story I asked her if they were sad stories.  Each time she assured me they were not sad, but funny.  I fell asleep before the last story was finished.  I fell asleep around 11pm.

Morgan is a junior counselor at Camp Longhorn.  The building behind her is the type of cabin they stay in.  I'll be going there next summer.

Wednesday, July 12, 2017

Mimz and I went to Wet 'n Wild.  While we waited for  Eli's family to arrived I played on the rope swing.  We had to leave Wet 'n Wild around 2pm because of the weather but we were pretty tired any way.

An extra baseball practice was scheduled but it was canceled due to rain.

Mimz and I talked about GGF.  I told her things I learned from him and thins I remember about him.   Sometimes I metion that I still feel sad and I feel sad for GGM too.  I have a tender heart.

I stayed up really late tonight at Daddy's home.  At 2am I texted Barbara to send her a picture of my high score on Fidget Spinner.  She got it, and replied, "That's great.  Now, sweet dreams!"

Tuesday, July 11, 2017

I spend the day with Daddy.

Then Mimz took me to my indoor soccer. We played a team of nine yar olds.  We lost 10 to 2.  I played well and I scored the first goal.  Later I was knocked down and fouled in the goal area so my team got a free goal kick and that was our second goal.  I had fun.

Over at Daddy's I watched the All Star Game.
Monday, July 10, 2017

I spend the day with my dad.  Baseball camp was canceled because of muddy fields.  We had a lot of heavy rain today.

Sunday, July 9, 2017

I slept until 10am.  That may the be latest I have ever slept, but I don't know that for sure.
Mommy and I told Barbara about the two birthday parties I went to yesterday.  I partied from 10:30am until 11pm!  What a fun day!

Daddy was going to come get me around noon, so I had to get a few things done.  I had to eat breakfast, brush my teeth, get dressed, and finish reading Champion Dog Prince Tom.  I only had the chapter 16 to read to finish the book.  I have five of the eleven reading challenges done.  I need to keep on reading to be finished by the time school starts.

When I had all of those things done I watched baseball on the iPad while Barbara sort of clipped my toenails.  I have a hard time holding still while my nails are clipped.

Saturday, July 8, 2017

I slept eleven hours last night!  I had a piece of frozen raisin bread and two pieces toasted with butter and a glass of milk.   I had time to read for 20 minutes before we had to get ready for James' birthday party.   James is in my cub scout den and I was the only other cub scout at the party.  I knew all of the boys from school except for one boy.  This was James' seventh birthday.
My gift to James was mine-craft toys because that is what he likes. The party was at his house from 10:30am to 12:30pm.
We played on a water slide, ate hot dogs, and opened presents.  Actually the party was still going on when I had to leave at 1:30pm so we could get to my next birthday party.

Brayden was having his eighth birthday party.  He is on my baseball team and I was the only other boy from the team at the party.  I knew a few of the other boys there.  This party was to be from 2 to 6pm, but guess what?   Everyone was having so much fun, six of us were there until after 11pm.  Mommy was ready to leave earlier but I was having too much fun to leave.  There was a big water slide, and pizza, and cake, presents, and video games to play.

Barbara was babysitting Anna Kate and Bradley and we were going to help her after the party but we didn't make it.  We got home before midnight.  Barbara got home before 1am.

That was a long party filled day.

Friday, July 7, 2017

I slept until about 10am, I think.  Barbara took this picture of my wild hair.  This house is very quiet because GGM and Barbara don't turn on the TV until later in the day and they don't listen to music.  They just enjoy the quiet.
After eating breakfast I got under the puzzle table and read Champion Dog Prince Tom for twenty minutes.  A part of my reading challenge for this summer is doing things like reading under a table.

I helped make some Jiffy cornbread while GGM prepared some catfish.
I swept the kitchen floor.

Then I ran the vacuum on my bedroom floor.

Daddy came to get me around 12:45pm and we went Burroughs Park and Daddy pitched some balls to me.  I practiced using my new batting stance.

Daddy took me to Mimz home, where I rested until it was time for Mimz to head to Tomball for the evening.  She dropped me off at my home, where I played catch with a tennis ball with Barbara.  Mommy soon came out to join us.  She can throw much better fly balls for me to catch.  Then we all moved to the front yard to practice batting with whiffle balls.

Mommy and I went to Bahama Bucks where I got a Pina Colata drink.  Yummy.  Back home we hit balls again until it got dark.

I took a bath with one of my bath balms.  The prize was a Star Wars Storm Trooper.   Barbara and I showed Mommy how to play Rider and I worked two Flow puzzles.  I can easily work the 7 x 7 puzzles.

We watched a funny video on Facebook.  It was of an old lady trying to get into a intertube at the beach.  Poor old thing.  A lifeguard came to help her get out of the tube after she had sunk down in it so far that she couldn't get out.

Lights out at 9:45pm.

Thursday, July 6, 2017

Eli got some waterproof casts on his two broken ares so we were able to go to Wet and Wild with Eli's family.  Maritza took Jacob and me to some big sliders and Mimz and Eli floated around the Lazy River because Eli has on two arm casts.

We left there around 2pm to go home to read, rest, and sleep.
It's Thursday and I had two baseball games.  We lost both games but I played really well.  I got on base every time I was at bat, except my last hit.  I was put out at first.
I played first base, third base, and short stop.  I made two double plays by myself!  And one inning I made all three outs!  I caught four pop ups for outs and I made several outs at first base and had a good play at third base for a forced out.  After the games, my coach told me I did a fantastic job after the games were over.
Eli and Jacob and their mom came to watch my last baseball game.  I appreciate their effort to come see me play.
My dad has a friend who played baseball and he showed me a better batting stance.  I'm supposed to practice it 30 times a day.

At my home I had a nice warm bath before I ate two bowls of cereal.  I was asleep soon after 10pm.
I said the Lord's Prayer before I fell asleep.

Wednesday, July 5, 2017

Mimz and I went to Urban Air for a few hours this morning.  She got me a coupon book.

My baseball team had an extra practice this evening.  Daddy took me and Mimz showed up since it was close to her house.  I did great fielding on first and second base.  When I went into the batting cage with my coach I hit 18 or the 20 balls that were thrown to me.

For dinner I had a corn dog, baked beans, and I topped it off with two bowls of cereal.

I really needed a bath!  We watche Ninja Warrior until 9:30 but then I had to stop watching and go to bed.    Mimz read to me and I fell asleep.

Happy Independence Day!!

At the Pond were Papa and Grandma, Bridget and Chris, and Mommy and me.  We did a lot of swimming and diving, playing catch and batting practice, and laughing at funny things.
Chris B played catch with me....
...then Papa came out to join us.

We watched a hot dog eating contest on TV.  The winner ate 72 hot dogs including the bun in ten minutes.  Man, that is something else.... Sick!

We also watched American Ninja Warriors.  I explained to Chris and Bridget who Daniel Gil is and how I know him.

Chris B. bought me a bunch of fireworks but we can't do fireworks at Papa's house.  Daddy said he would do them with me, so Mommy brought me home from the lake. around 5pm.  Mommy, Barbara, and I played ball in the front yard with wiffle balls.  Barbara pitched, I batted, and Mommy played first and second base.   I liked trying to bunt.

We decorated an old white t-shirt for the fourth of July celebration.
The shirt is almost too small but it was a shirt we had, so we used it.  It looks good, but is not perfect by any means.
Daddy came to get me around 6pm.  We did my fireworks.
