Last night I told Barbara to wake me up at 6am so I could help her clean the waterfall.  This morning she tried but I was not going to wake up.   Maybe next time, Barbara.
I waited for the bus with Jackson and Cole.  Tomorrow Anthony and Alyssa will be back from their trip to NYC.
Our teachers have activities planned for our last week of school.  Today's activity is Show and Tell.

Show and Tell, Mutton Busting belt buckle, trophy, and picture
Mrs. Meredith walked our class into the lunch room.  She just noticed my mom waiting to eat with me.
Barbara and Mommy came to eat lunch with me.  Mommy came on my birthday back in September.  And Barbara brought GGF one time.  So this was the second time for them both to come eat lunch with me.

Alyssa and Anthony arrived home from their vacation in NYC.  I was so happy when I saw their car in the driveway, I rushed over to welcome them home.  They enjoyed their trip but they were glad to be home.  They invited me to join them for dinner.
Mommy's phone quit working so she had to go to the phone store, so Barbara took me to my swim practice.  I had a near colision with the boy I was swimming with.  Practice was over, so I jumped out of the pool and started walking to get my towel, when the boy pushed out of the pool and you can see the picture of what happened.  I didn't fall.  We were fine.
That was a fun practice.  I played on the playground for almost 30 minutes.

Mommy and I looked at the clothes she had chosen for me to wear on our Disney vacation.  I agreed to not wear long socks and to wear nice clothes on the airplane.  I'm all set.  I'll pull my little Star Wars bag.  My clothing will be divided between Mommy and Barbara's luggage so we don't have another piece of luggage to manage.

I was in bed at 8:30pm on the dot.

Thank you to all of our service men and women on this Memorial Day.   You are the reason we have all of our freedoms.
Thank you, GGF for serving in the Army Reconnaissance in the Pacific during WWII.  He spent part of this day, with GGM and Barbara, worked this 2000 piece puzzle.  It was a Christmas gift from Mimz in 2014.   They rework all of their puzzles every year.  They have given away many puzzles but still have 150 that they continue to enjoy working.

Mommy, Barbara and I went to Shankz, an indoor mini golf place, and we played eighteen holes of golf under black lights.
I had a hole in one, which surprised us all.  I hit the ball hard and it bounced around before landing in the hole.

I called Alyssa, who is in NYC with her family visiting more family.  We talked 18 minutes which is a long time for me to talk to anyone on the phone.
I helped Mommy and Barbara make some Pine Bark.  It has four ingredients: saltine crackers, butter, brown sugar, and Hersey's candy bars.
I do like to cook and then eating what I made.
I took a pair of scissors to my cup of grass.  It was looking a bit ragged.

Mommy started packing for our vacation to Disney World.  I'm going to pull my little Star Wars bag onto the airplane.  I asked a lot of questions about flying.  I have flown before but this will be the first time I will remember the experience.  I'm trying to decide if I want the window or aisle.  Mommy wants window, Barbara wants aisle.
We had BLTs for dinner, but I didn't want lettuce or tomato.

I played in my room for about an hour by myself, just playing and talking to myself.

Barbara and I spent a long time looking at old pictures of me when I was a baby and toddler.  When we looked up it was 8:45pm.  I hurried to bed and was asleep in just a very few minutes.

The swim meet was supposed to be an away meet but the pool pump at the away place had quit working, so the meet was moved to my Londonderry pool.  That is good for us because that means we make money for the team from the concessions.

Grandma and Mommy both were timers.  Barbara was going to volunteer but they didn't need her.  An unusual thing happened:  All three timers for one swimmer on a race had the exact same time down to the one-hundredth of a second. It was announced because that would be pretty hard to do.
I was thinking about my upcoming races.  I was in three races: relay, free style, and backstroke.   We will have to find out how I placed.
One week this summer I was the star swimmer for 6 and under children.
Before leaving the meet I got a snow cone.
Mimz is in Dallas with Aunt Kathy.  Mimz learned how to use a hover board.

It was a pretty routine day at school.  We are all tired and ready for summer to get here, especially me since I know that I will be flying to Florida in one week Friday.

It was a rainy day.  Barbara met my bus carrying a big umbrella to keep me dry and just for the fun of it.
Since it was lightening, I couldn't play outside in the rain...
I used a trash can as a basketball goal.
I used a can opener to open a can of Rotel.

Mimz and I went to our favorite doughnut shop.  I got a kalachi, doughnut, and chocolate milk.
Bad news:  The water at the lake is very high.  So far the boat is okay.  The dock and deck is flooded.  The first two steps coming up from the deck are under water.  Papa is in Nigeria, so Grandma is dealing with this on her own.  She can do it.  She has sold and moved houses three times while Papa has been out of the country.  He doesn't plan it that way... it just happens.

School was good.  Behavior = Yellow = Good job.
I am still taking my yearbook to school most every day.  Barbara thinks I should leave it at home, so I don't lose it.

Alyssa, Anthony, and their parents have gone to New York for a few days.  I will miss them.  Jackson couldn't play, so I asked Brad if he wanted to come outside and do some work.  He was going to play golf.  The only people I could play with were Anna Kate, GGM, and Barbara.  We played with my lighted floating soccer ball.  AK was getting the knack of kicking it.  She needs more practice.

GGM had been teaching AK to wash her hands using a stool I used when I was a little toot.  Barbara is teaching her to say "Happy" when Barbara says, "How do you feel?"  AK has been saying Thank you every time someone hands her something.

Swim practice was called off due to rain, thunder and lightening.

Barbara wanted to read to me, but I wouldn't have anything to do with it.  We played catch with a football in the garage while we waited for Mommy to get home.

Mr Mark just sent these two pictures to us.  I don't know what day there were taken so we are just going to add them here:

It was a rainy morning, so Mr. Mark gave us this big patio umbrella to keep us dry while we waited for the bus.
My buddy Anthony and me.

Mommy received a phone call from my school nurse.  She started out by saying, "There is nothing to worry about.  Mason hit his head on the monkey bars."
There is a bit of a bump but you can't see it, so I am pointing to the spot I hit.  The nurse gave me an ice pack and I went back to class.  She just wanted to let Mommy know what had happened and to tell her to watch me.
When I jumped off the bus, first thing Barbara wanted was to see where I had hit my head.  She couldn't see anything, but she could feel a very slight bump.  It didn't hurt at all and I felt just fine.
I helped Anna Kate play with her tablet before going to swim practice.
 She is a quick learner.
She wanted some of my drink.  She wants anything I have.
Behavior = Red = Outstanding!

I brought home my Wednesday folder.  It had my last weekly grade =  E.   I have had E's every week except for the week I had a gray = parent contact for behavior, because I was talking and not keeping my mind on my work.  That week I had an S.  I know how important behavior is for making good marks on my report cards.

Mommy took me to practice.  Daddy came to my practice.  We worked on learning to dive off the starting block.  None of us do it very well.  We will learn with more practice.

Daddy took me to Mimz home where she had fixed a crockpot pot roast with lots of carrots and potatoes so Daddy and I ate a big dinner.

Mimz bought me some size 1 running shoes at Academy thinking they looked plenty big for my feet.  They were too small, so we went back and bought a size 2 so I have a little growing room.

I had two bowls of cereal before bed time.  That swimming makes me hungry.   Then Mimz and I headed to bed with some books.

I went off to school knowing that I had seven days of Kindergarten left including today.  I have enjoyed Kindergarten but I am sooooo looking forward to summer.  I think Mommy, Barbara, Mimz and Daddy have some activities in mind for me to do.

I brought home a bunch of art work from my art class.  I went through them and decided which ones I wanted Mommy to have, Mimz to have, and Grandma to have as keepsakes.
Here are a couple of my art pictures:

Behavior = Yellow = Good Day

Alyssa's dad took her training wheels off her bike today.  In just a few minutes she got pretty good at riding her bike without them.  We went with Mommy to get her oil changed.  Then Mommy took me to swim practice.  They haven't put my name up on the wall for being Swimmer of the Week for my age group.  I will check again tomorrow.
Anthony was being bullied, shoved, and choked at school.  His dad, a former NYC policeman, called the Klein ISD police to file a police report.  I was over at their house when the policewoman came and Alyssa and I showed her our police badges.  We asked if we could take a picture with her and she also wanted a picture of us holding up our badges.  Mr. Mark said he filed the report so the principal at Metzler would take the matter very seriously.  The first time this happened the principal said she would call Mr. Mark back and she didn't.  He has an appointment to talk to her tomorrow.

While I was at swim practice Alyssa fell on her bike and hurt herself.  He dad carried her inside.  I found out that she just barely scraped her knees.  She was okay.
GGF still works Suduko puzzle found in the newspaper every morning.  Barbara works them with him when she is available.  Mimz gave him a book of those puzzles for Christmas.  He has two more puzzles to work then he will have completed the entire book.

This was a very busy day.
I am the boy in the far right blue shirt, right in the middle of the picture.  There were several more rows of children in blue shirts and I'm on the back row.  The other pictures taken barely show me.
I had to wear nice clothes to school because we were having our Kindergarten performance today.  Each class wore a different color.  My class wore blue shirts.  Other classes wore red, green or yellow shirts.  It was necessary for one of the four songs we sang.  It was a short performance in the cafeteria.  We stood on risers.

Mommy, Grandma, Mimz, Anna Kate, and Barbara all came.  Daddy would have been there except he had a job he had to do today.  The performance started at 9:45am and by 10:15pm Barbara had AK back home.    That was a fun way to entertain our families.

After school I had my last golf lesson.  It was mostly about driving.  Barbara brought AK with her to watch me and then to take me home.   I brought home a white TGA golf hat.

Behavior = Orange = Outstanding.
I did not bring home my orange homework folder..... that means no more homework this school year.  Yea!  My adults still want me to read every day.

I played with AK and then with Alyssa until it was time for Mommy to take me to my swim practice.  Alyssa went with us.  I was happy to find out I came in first in backstroke, fifth in Freestyle, and second in my relay. And I was thrilled to find out I was chosen Swimmer of the Week for my age group!  They will put my name on a star in the club house window.

Maddox and I woke up sort of early.  After breakfast we came back home to get ready for another week of school.

At school we planted some grass seeds and I have been watering my little cup every day just a tiny bit.  Soon I will need to take scissors to it to make it look nice and neat.  Alyssa had the same cup of grass but hers died... too much water I think.

Saturday May 21, 2016
The races I will be in are written on my arm.
We are lined up in order so the races can proceed at a good pace.
I climbed onto the starting block.
I was oh so ready to race.
For the backstroke we start in the water.
My fifth place ribbon was for free style.  I'll swim faster when I learn to quit looking around to see where the other swimmers are.  My first place ribbon was for backstroke and second place for freestyle relay.
My time improvement ribbons were for swimming backstoke and freestyle the best I ever have.
I was named Swimmer of the Week for my age group.
My name is on a star on a club house window.

We drove up to the lake and so did Andy's family.
Papa held a tired Anna Kate.
Papa bought a used golf cart for the new house.  It is 2 1/2 acres and he wants something to help him keep the yard work done.  I got to drive the cart.  Well, I steered and Papa stepped on the gas and the brake.  I did a good job.

Mostly I played with Maddox.  We swam and played with the box of toys Grandma has for me.  We watched Superman and Maddox slept over.  We slept on the big living room sofa.

Friday, May 20, 2016

I laid out my clothes for school last night so I quickly got ready for school.  I wanted to go to the school store to get a spirit stick so Mommy drove me to school.  Too bad... The store was closed.  I guess that are through for the year. Just like we can't check out any more library books this school year.

Behavior = orange.   That is Great behaivor. I had said I was going to really think about my behavior so I would do well and it worked.

Only AK and GGM were outside to greet me when I jumped off the bus. Barbara was inside helping GGF with his Sudoku puzzle, but she did come just a couple of minutes late.
I played basketball with George and a couple of his friends.
And we also did some wrestling in the grass.  Alyssa and I wrestled each other. Barbara helped me get drinks for us all.

Mommy and Alyssa took me to swim practice.
Mommy ordered my school supplies for first grade.  They will be on my desk when I arrive for the first day of class.
