 Today was Sophia McMillian's fourth birthday party at 7 Acre Woods in Conroe.  Sophia goes to my school and I have known her for two years.

 The party was from 10am to noon, so we had to get up early.

 The first thing I did was climb this wall.

 I talked to Sophia, wishing her a happy birthday and said this was a neat place and thanked her for inviting me to her party.

We went down the slide several times together.

 I played in the sand box.

 Ran around in the western town.

 This pirate looking guy gave us fishing tips.

 I fished ...

 ... and caught a prize.

 We ate pizza...

 ... then we sang Happy Birthday, Sophia...

... and ate the cake.  I think Sophia liked the gift I gave her.  Remember I worked to earn some money to help pay for that gift.  This was a very fun party.

I wanted to take my new fireman's suit over to Barbara's so I could show it to GGM and GGF and so we would have it to play with today.

We played Fireman all morning until it was time to leave for my make-up swim lesson.

Hoping to have time to finish my nap.

 Fireman like to show children around the station and we let them touch our fireman things.

 We teach them not to be afraid of the scary looking men that are there to help them in case of fire.

 Fireman need lots of water.

Here I am goofing around before I leave for my make-up swim lesson.

The lesson was at 11:30 and today the pool water was nice and warm, so much better than the cold water on Wednesday.   We worked a lot on trying to get me to turn my head to the side to take a breath instead of lifting my head out of the water.  I know when I do that my feet go down and that won't make me a fast swimmer.   I still ask a lot of unrelated questions, like why Miss Sherrie has a swing-set and when it will be play time and why does she always were a blue bathing suit.   Miss Sherrie keeps reminding me to listen to her and do what she asks me to do.

My homework for the weekend is to do four push-ups this weekend with my dad, from my toes if I can or from my knees if I need too.  Also I need to practice taking a breath to the side.

 Back home, I helped GGF shovel rocks ...

 ... into a wheelbarrow.

Then we washed the rocks and took out the bigger ones.  We moved the small rocks to an area by the air conditioners. GGF and Mr Brad went to get a yard of rock.  We will use some of that load to refill the are around the waterfall.

 We worked on this several different times..

 I love to work..

We would rest every once in a while.

 Then we would head back to finish the job.

I really had a super good time working on this project.

GGM did a lot of cooking today so she was too tired to play with me except for a small amount of time.  Barbara and I watched Adam 12 and reenacted a bank robbery.  We watched Emergency and I asked lots and lots of questions about what was happening on the show.

We played American Army vs. the Japanese Army.  We flushed them out of this building and if we had any injuries to our side, we would load them onto an airplane and send them to an Army hospital.

 And the last thing I did before Mommy came to pick me up at 5:45pm...

was to help Mr. Brad weed a flower bed.  I surely went to sleep early tonight.

Mimz took me to school and picked me up.  We played outside and we played police.

I had a bowl of cereal for a snack.

We met Barbara and GGF at Neal's Restaurant.  I brought my fireman's outfit so we could play fireman.  I put on my fireman's outfit and then ran to show it to GGM.

We played Dream Snatchers a bunch.  I watched Leave It To Beaver and soon after that Daddy came to pick me up.

I needed to earn some money so I could help buy a birthday gift for Sophia.

 GGM said I could help her harvest some green beans and she would pay me.

These are the beans I picked.  We are freezing them for now.  When we have enough I will help cook them.

I earned fifty cents.  I think that may have been my first paid job.  Later I helped Barbara pick up some toys and I asked if I could get paid.  Of course the answer was no.

Mommy, Daddy, and I went to Wal-Mart to look a gift for Sophia.

We chose a "Silly Hair" doll.  Sophia can change her hair to be pretty silly.  It looked like something a little girl would like.  And we bought her a Little Mermaid puzzle.

I have been asking Daddy for a long time if I could have this particular fireman's outfit I have seen at the party store.  Well, today was the day I got it and I LOVE it.
