I went to a pool party at Anthony and Alyssa's pool.   One of their mom's sisters is visiting from Jamaca.  She speaks both English and Spanish.

Barbara spent more than 24 hours at the lake helping Grandma work on Kristan's book  project and her Prolawn statements.  She had taken her iPad so Grandma could put the Goat Simulator app on it.  I called Barbara several times today to ask her when she would get home.  She promised to be home by 6pm.  She got here at 5:50pm.  She does like to keep her promises.  I was so happy to see that iPad.... I did remember to thank Barbara for the app first thing before I even touched the iPad.
(Barbara did if necessary there would be a time limit on my playing with that app and we might make up a rule that we have to read before I can play with it.

Anthony and Alyssa both have tablets.  Barbara allowed me to take her iPad over to their house so we could all play Goat Simulator at the same time.  She said for not to expect her to let me take her iPad away from the house again.  She says it is not a toy but she also wants me to learn to be responsible for things.

Knox, his dad, and I went to Sky Zone, a trampoline place.  I have been there before and it is so much fun.  After that we stopped to eat chicken nuggets and fries.  Then we went to Lowe's to get some parts Jake will need to work on Mimz' sprinkler system and fence that were damaged by the lightening strike in Mim'z back yard.

I spent the night at Alyssa and Anthony's.  I came home at 8:15am to say hi and brush my teeth.  I still had on my clothes from yesterday and I didn't want to change.  I like wearing my Camp Longhorn shirt.

I played with Alyssa most of the morning.  At noon I had to go with GGM and Barbara to get their hair cut.  I wanted to stay and let Mr Mark watch me but Barbara insisted I go with them.  While GGM had her hair cut, I laid on a sofa with my legs on Barbara's lap while I played on the iPad.  When Barbara got her hair cut, I did the same thing with GGM.  I think I am pretty special to them so I know they will do most things to keep me comfortble.  lol.
We were leaving the hair salon when I spotted this pole.  Every opportunity I have to be a Ninja I am climbing on something.

I was gone from home less than an hour.
Alyssa came over and we sat on the living room sofa for an hour watching videos on the iPad.  Barbara was very impressed that we could be so quiet for so long.  She is often telling us to please be quieter because too much noise bothers GGF.  This thoughtfulness earned me a sticker.

Daddy took off work half a day, so he arrived around 2pm to take me to Mimz home, where we would wait for a cable repair guy to fix Mimz' cable service.    I took my pogo stick with me for the weekend.

Mimz and I ate breakfast in the car as we drove to my teeth cleaning appointment with Dr Gosnell.  Barbara meet us there.
Carie cleaned my teeth.  She also gave me a flouride treatment.
Since all four of my four permanent molars are in she sealed them to help prevent cavities.  She also gave me a flouride treatment.  Dr. Gosnell checked my teeth: no cavities!  He said if I and my family would wiggle my upper front tooth often in a couple of weeks that tooth would come out.   "Family start helping me remember to do this.  We are all ready to get that baby tooth out of my mouth."

Mimz took me over to Lacey's so I could meet Baby Jett, Lily's new baby boy.  He slept most of the time.  He is a bit collicky.   Poor baby.

Mimz and I went to Red Robin to get a hamberger.  That was one of Pops favorite places to get a burger.    Mimz took me to Andy's house, where Barbara was babysitting AK.  She was sleeping so we watched her on the baby monitor while we watched American Ninja Warrior.

Kristan came home around 2:30pm and Baby Girl was still asleep so I didn't get to see her.  Maybe next time.

I played with Alyssa and Anthony.  When Mommy got home she took us to Smoothie King where we each spent our own money to buy a smoothie.

Mimz had some awful excitement this afteroon.  When she arrived home she had to flip circuit breakers switches to get her electricity on.  She discovered her cable TV was not working so she made arrangements for that to be fixed tomorrow afternoon.  (Daddy and I will be there to let the workman in).  She then discovered her backyard was flooded and water was spewing out of the ground.  She noticed her big tree had been struck by lightening!  A plumber fixed a broken sprinker pipe.  Oh, boy!  We were lucky, it could have been much worse.

The tree will probably need to be removed.  After all that Mimz had to finish getting ready for her five day vacation with six friends at Lacy's lake home.  The are all friends Mima and Pops have had since their college days I think.

Wednesday, July 27, 2016

While I was still sleeping Mommy left for work, AK arrived for us to babysit her while her mom worked on getting her classroom ready for her fifth grade class, and Barbara drove to AutoZone to get a new car battery.  When Barbara got home (she was gone maybe 40 minutes), I was awake and watching TV from GGM's bed.  Barbara spoke to GGM and AK, then she hugged me and asked what I was watching.  I mumbled something.  She said, "You are watching
Red-headed Underwear?"   I laughed.  No I said, "American Ninja Warriors."   That was funny.

I didn't want to eat, but finally I agreed to eat raisin toast, sausage, and milk.  When it was time for us to leave, Barbara put AK in her car seat and we drove to meet Mimz at Sprouts.  I told Mimz the story about Red-headed Underwear.  Then Barbara took AK to her house to babysit the rest of the day.
The plan was for us to go to Splash Town with Eli's family, but it was going to rain a lot today so we went to Little Beakers, which is a science lab for children.   In this picture: Bianca, big sister; jacob, Eli, and me.
We experimented with electricity and a potato.
I really like using the microscope.
We made a tornado in a bottle.
 We made a rubber ball.
I always made goop and stuff be a blue color.  I just like blue.

Tuesday July, 26, 2016

Nomally I go to Iron Sports on Monday and Thursday, but this week I have to go on Monday and Tuesday.  Barbara took me and Mimz couldn't come because she works at the hospital on Tuesdays.
A funny story:  Barbara dressed me in a bright neon green shirt so she could easily spot me amongst the 30 or so boys and girls.  Well, there were seven children dressed in similar colored shirts.  lol.  But she could still spot me.  I was the only one wearing long socks.  No one knows why, but I like wearing long socks.  I have always like socks, even as a little boy.   I wanted to wear socks to bed and if I found they have been removed while I was sleeping, I was not happy about that.  I was a funny like kid.
There were 11 kids in my group and we had three stations.  I can't pick a favorite station, I like them all.  The obstical course was shorter today and harder.  I am a little weak on upper body strength things.
It is amazing how well organized this place is even with all the chaos that happens with 30 kids running, jumping, climbing, etc, in all different directions.

I spent the afternoon playing with Alyssa.  Mostly we played nicely.  Our squabbles are short lived.

Every Tuesday at 7:30pm Fire Station 77, near Mimz' home lets the public come watch them do some training.  Barbara drove Alyssa and me to the station where we meet Mommy.  When we got there, the fire trucks were gone and the place was locked up.   We were wondering if they were at the accident we saw on our way to the station.  There were two fire trucks, an ambulance, and at least two police cars on the scene.  After waiting a few minutes it was decided that the event was not going to happen.   Barbara's car wouldn't start.  It has been so hot down here, lots of people, including my dad have had to get new car batteries.  Barbara had jumper cables, so my dad came to give Barbara's car a jump.  She drove us home safely.  She will deal with her battery problem in the morning.  I was going to be dark soon when we got home.

I was asleep by 9pm.

Monday, July 25, 2016

I spent the night at Mimz' home, so she could take me to Iron Sports today.  Normally Barbara would have taken me, but Kristan needed to work on her classroom and she needed Barbara to babysit AK today.

Eli's family came to Iron Sports this morning.  Normally I would have been in the same class as Eli and Jacob, but they needed some of us to join the 7 year olds.  I was one of the boys chosen to go to that other class.  These bigger boys were really good Ninja's.   I had fun but would have liked to been in class with Eli.  Next time I probably will be with him.

We went to Chick-fil-a for lunch, then Mimz brought me all the way to Barbara's home.  Anna Kate was so very happy to see me and Mimz.  She is growing like a weed and she is so smart too.

I played nicely with Alyssa.
At 3pm we had a swim party at her house.
I had a really great time and didn't want to leave.  I got mad and said I didn't want to go to Splash Town or to the fire station tomorrow.

Before we made a decision about Splash Town I got into trouble by being mouthy.  My consequence was an evening in my room.  Not much fun.

Sunday, July 24, 2016

I spent the morning with Mimz and Daddy.  I wanted to go home to play with Anthony and Alyssa so Mommy came to get me.  I was very glad my friends are home.  I showed them how I can jump on my pogo stick.  First I played with Anthony.  We played video games at Jackson's for 30 minutes.  Later I played with Alyssa.  We pretending we were policeman. Alyssa said she was very glad to be home.  I think she was homesick while in Jamaca.

I jumped 79 times on my pogo stick today.  I am a very fast learner.

I ate dinner at Alyssa's home.  Her dad is Italian so he knows how to make great spaghetti and meatballs.

Mommy took me back to my dad's home.  I wore my Iron Sports pass on a string around my neck to I would be sure to get it to Mimz so we can go there tomorrow.

I spend the night at Mimz' home.

Morgan is at Camp Longhorn, last year as a camper.
Next summer she will be a councelor.
I get to go to Camp Longhorn in two more summers.
 Up.
 Down.
Up.   I had my pogo stick about 24 hours and I had improved by giant leaps.  I had a record of 20 jumps but now I can go for a long time, too long to count the jumps!  Everyone is so impressed.

Mimz took this video of me jumping.

Aunt Kathy's had a car problem and Mommy needed Daddy to come to scrapbooking to get the stand to a prize she won, so Daddy, Mimz, and I were being a taxi service tonight.  I took my pogo stick in Daddy's truck and while he loaded the thing Mommy won, I showed her how I could jump jump jump for a long time.  Mommy won seven of the 100 prizes.  There were about 150 ladies vying for these prizes.  Mommy came in second in the ugly Christmas sweater contest.  She lost by one vote.

Friday, July 22, 2016

From 8:30am to 12:30pm Barbara and I babysat Anna Kate.
Mostly we had American Ninja Warriors on TV and I played I was a warrior.
Anna Kate tried to do everything I did....
...like jump on a pogo stick.  LOL.
We did rest and read some.

When we came home, I stopped in the garage to practice on my pogo stick.  We found that if Barbara held onto my waist I could jump 8 or 9 times before I fell off.  I know if I keep practicing I will get better and better.

Around 2:30pm we met Mimz at Sprouts.  I brought my pogo stick so I can get some pointers from my dad on how to get better jumping on it.

I ate a big healthy dinner: grilled salmon, baked sweet potato and broccoli.  As soon as I finished I was out the door practicing on pogo stick skills.  At that time my record was 6 or 7 jumps by myself.  Within thirty minutes I had sat a new record:  20 jumps!

I kept saying things like "I love this pogo stick."  "This is so much fun."  I could then jump all over the driveway going clear over to the neighbor's house.  Mimz took so great videos until she ran out of memory on her phone.

I told Mimz I couldn't sleep late this morning because I was thinking about my pogo stick.

Barbara is talking to Andy about possibly making me a pair of stilts.  Barbara looked online for instructions to build stilts.  She found some... she also found stilts for sale for $35.00... so we shall see what happens.

Thursday, July 21, 2016

I had been waiting for this day.... my pogo stick is supposed to be delivered today.  I just can't wait another day.

I woke up after eleven hours of sleep.  I woke up rechared and in a happy mood probably thinking one thought: Today my pogo stick arrives.

Mimz and I went to my second session of Iron Sports from noon to 1:30pm.  There were about 14 children in my age group today.  On  Monday there were only 7 in my age group.   I had another fun time and I got to try to blue warped wall.  I could touch the ring at the top but could grap ahold.

At 2pm Mimz brought me to Barbara's where I hope I would find my pogo stick.  I was a bit disappointed that it was not there but there were still several hours left before I would leave for my last baseball games.   I kept checking to see if a box might have been left without the doorbell being rung.  Barbara babysat AK this morning, so she wanted a little nap.  I sat on her bed playing with the iPad while she napped.
The doorbell rang at 4:50pm and I was down the stairs before Barbara could look out the window to see if there was a UPS truck outside.  It was UPS with a long box for me!  GGF helped me open the box and Barbara and I headed outside ( where the temperature was 97 degrees with heat index that felt like 102 degrees!) so I could try out my pogo stick.  The first couple of times I jumped once and fell off.  Then I did two jumps before falling off.  Barbara held the stick and I managed to get as much as 6 jumps before falling.  I had to quit after just a few minutes for two reasons.  One it was just too hot with no breeze.  Two I had to get dressed for my baseball game.  We had to leave at 5:20pm.

My fans at the games were: GGF, Barbara, Mommy, Daddy, and Mimz.  Mommy ran the dug out and Daddy helped coach on the field.
I was the MVP tonight (in Barbara's opinion).   The first inning I played first base and I made all three outs.  One of them I made by chasing down the runner and tagging him.    My first three at bats were all doubles.  I hit the ball to the fence each time.
I had one more double and one single and no strike outs.

During the day I told Barbara three times I wanted to catch a pop fly.  Well, guess what?  I caught a pop fly!  My running was great.  My throws were great.  I just did an outstanding job and that is why I was the MVP.  These were my last games of the season.  Next year we will keep score and it will be coach pitch instead of t-ball.
My team and the coaches.

After the game, Barbara, GGF, and I went over to Anna Kate's so Andy could install her car seat in Barbara's car.  She is babysitting tomorrow and three other days before August 15th so it is time to get ready for our having Anna Kate often.
First thing I did when we got home was practice on my pogo stick.  I need lots of  practice.  I ate strawberry shortcake.  GGM had made the cake and recently she and Barbara had cleaned and frozen 30 pounds of strawberries.

I went inside to tell GGM about my game.  Afterwards we talked about what was on TV,: Donald Trump and the Republican Convention.  We have our fingers crossed that Trump wins the presidency.  He was not Barbara or my great grandparent's first choice, but Hillary has been their last choice for 30 years.  They didn't think much of the Clinton's when Bill was govenor of Arkansas (where they lived at the time) and their opinion has not improved over the years.

Mommy and Grandma got home at 10:30pm.  I was not asleep so I got up and went down to show them my pogo stick.  Again with help I could jump about five times.

Wednesday, July 20, 2016

AT 8:30 Mimz and I were at her car dealership to get her car's oil changed.  I was so very well behaved that Mimz told Barbara to give me a sticker for my good behavior.
At 9:30am we met Eli's family at Splash Town.  Zoey, their 1-year-old cousin was there to ride on the bigger rides with us.  Oh what fun.  Eli and I will remember this fun summer for years to come.  Mimz packed turkey and cheese sandwiches for our lunch.  Then we went back into Splash Town.

We drove to my home to get Iron Sports pass.  I ate brownies and watermelon while we were there.  We also took some of both home so Mimz and I could have a treat later

Tuesday, July 19, 2016

GGM watched me while Barbara took GGF to a doctor's appointment.

I helped GGM make some of my favorite: brownies.  I mopped the living room while GGM mopped the kitchen.  When Barbara got home, GGM told her  I was a big help.  I earned a sticker.

I earned another sticker because I sat down and read Go Dog Go in its entirety with no help.  Barbara wanted me to read another book or let her read to me and I said not now.  Later I did let her read one page of Tom Sawyer to me.  She read that book to Grandma when they were 16 and 6 years old.

It rained in the afternoon, we wonder if I will have baseball practice tonight.  Barbara and I sat on her bed to play.  One of the things we played was an old pretend game called avalanche.  My babies and I were caught under an avalanche of pillows.  Fireman had to come safe us.

I watch a Ninja movie on the iPad.

Barbara and GGF took me to practice because Mommy had to work late.  Daddy came to my practice also.  I did well, better than most of the little kids on my team.  Remember I am one of the oldest.  I went home with Daddy and he took me over to Mimz to spend the night.

Monday, July 18, 2016

Mimz met Barbara and me at Iron Sports to sign up for eight classes, two a week for a month.   Mimz went home to get caught up on some chores because she had been gone all weekend.
Barbara and I went to Chick-fil-a where I played on the playground until time for my Ninja class.
See me up high in the picture.

My second time at Iron Sports was today.  My skills improved and I had a blast.  My class was from noon to 1:30pm.   My class of 4, 5, and 6-year-olds had seven kids in it.
We warmed up for at least ten minutes, which was quite a work out.
We climbed a rock wall, we jumped off a wall, we swung on rings.  We did a timed obstacle course.  My time with a 20 second penalty was 1 minute and 30 seconds.  I did pretty good at not falling off the course.  We did the thing where you jump from a big block to another to another, to another.  I improved each time I did it.
We did a fun balancing thing....
I saved myself several times.
We did the warped wall several times.  Oh What Fun!

At home I wanted a vanilla shake, so Barbara fixed me one.

I have had a sore under my nose for a few days and it is not getting any better.  Mimz wondered if it might be Inpetigo so we are putting an anatibiotic onitment on it to see if that makes it get better.  If it doesn't we will be making me a doctor's appointment.
I wanted to wear a mask in case it was contagious.

Our plan was to meet Mommy at Splash Town at 5:30on,  As we were driving there, we noticed a big black cloudy area over Splash Town.  When we drove up it started raining.    It had just been announced that the park was closing for the day due to lightening in the area.  I called Mommy to tell her to head home.  We will have to try this again.  Of course we were not half a mile from Splash Town when we were out of the rain for good.

It was a quiet evening at home.  GGM played catch with me.  Barbara played Candy Land.  Mommy and I sorted through pictures of me hunting for ones she wants to use in scrapbooking.  I didn't want to take a bath and I didn't want to go to bed.  Of course, as soon as I was in the shower I had fun.

I lost a couple opportunities to get stickers by not being agreeable about helping with little chores.  I may not earn my 100 stickers before school starts.  I will still get my prize whenever I do earn all 100 stickers.  I have over 30 now.

Sunday, July 17, 2016

I helped Mommy go through pictures of me.  She is glad Barbara takes pictures of me all the time.  That gives her a big choice for her scrap booking.

We played indoor basketball.  Barbara and I made up a sling shot game using sweat bands.
Grandma and Papa stopped by on their way to take Papa to the airport.  He has this month and one more month to spend in Nigeria before he retires.  I had Papa play our sling shot game.  He was pretty good without any practice.  I guess he has done something like this before.

Barbara tried to get me to read.  I was not co-operative.  She played Chutes and Ladders with me.
Barbara played basketball with me.
I like not wearing a shirt even though I know I get more mosquito bites when I am shirtless.

Cole played with me for a couple of hours.  We took off our shoes and played slip and slide in our socks on the hardwood floor.  And we played with water balloons without water.  He had enough wind to blow them up.  Barbara had to blow them up for me.  I need more practice and I will get the hang of it.

Saturday, July 16, 2016

GGF, Barbara, Mommy, and I went to Toy's R Us and Walmart looking for a pogo stick.  We had previously looked at two other stores.  No luck, except we did get GGM a watermelon and a few other groceries.

Mommy and I went to a Metzler Boy Scout mini golf event.  There were at least 30 boys there.  Mommy and I played with four other peole and had a lot of fun.  I didn't have a hole in one, but I did 2 putt one hole.

We went over to Daddy's for a while and went to a Mexican restaurant for dinner.  Mommy and I also stopped at a Target to look for a pogo stick.  Again no luck.  Back at home we got on-line and found one.  It will be delivered on Thursday.  I am not to mention "pogo stick" again until Thursday.  Barbara is so tired of my one track mind this entire day.  lol

Again I wanted to play American Ninja Warrior by jumping on Barbara's bed.  She let me jump a few times, but then I had to stop.    Mommy, Barbara, and I decided to watch something on TV and have a party.  Mommy and I decided to watch "CHiPS" while Barbara made us a "treat."  It turned out to be Frito chips which we dipped into softened vanilla ice cream.  A yummy treat.

Friday, July 15, 2016

Well, I forgot to write today, so I can't remember much about the day.

I laid down and Barbara drew letters on my back and I had to guess what the letters were.  I correctly guessed all the letters except capital D.

Mommy and I went over to Andy's.

We ate dinner with them.
Andy is having a new patio poured so he used a jackhammer to tear up the old one.  I helped pick up the pieces and put them in a pile.  I wanted to use the jackhammer but Andy said it might be too dangerous.

Thursday, July 14, 2016

Morgan is back at Camp Longhorn for the last time as a camper.  She will be back next year as a junior counselor.  And then the next year, I will be there.   Morgan started going in 2008 when she was eight years old.  She has used this trunk every year.  It has been a good one.

Maritza told Mimz about a place called Iron Sports.  They have Ninja Warrior Camps.  Today they were having a trial day, so we went.  I LOVED it.
My adults are thinking about letting me come her a couple of times a week for the rest of the summer.  We shall see.
I had a big fan club at my baseball games tonight: GGF, Papa, Andy, Mimz....
...and Kristan, Grandma, and Barbara.  Mommy worked the dugout.  Daddy was a coach.
I played very well.  I hit well, making it to first base every time I was at bat.  I ran and threw the ball well.  One other boy and I are the best first baseman because we can catch the ball more often than the other players.  Both teams had a lot of runs.  I think we won the first game and I don't know about the second game.   My cub scout camp leader, Christine Campbell was there because her son's team was playing my team.  She took pictures of me with her great camera, so we may get some good picures of me in aciton.  She also brought me the Tiger flag from camp.  There were only four tigers and she knew she would see me tonight, so she decided to give it to me.  I'll hang it in my bedroom.
