Yesterday Mommy found a fire station and firetruck that Grandma was storing until I got old enough to play with it.  I think it was given to me at age two and I was more interested in banging toys than imaginative play back them.  The entire day was spent playing with my fireman's station and firetruck.
I played with it on the breakfast table, in Car Town, while watching an episode of Bubble Guppies about fireman,...
sitting on Barbara's bed,  and on the garage carpet.  I couldn't get enough of it.

GGM babysat me for an hour while GGF and Barbara made quick trips to the library, Chamber of Commerce, and Panda Express.  I really didn't want to quit playing fire station to go with them.

The only time I didn't play with it was the couple of hours I played outside.
An easy thing to play is water guns.
In this picture I got shot.  I am quite the actor.
Our winter flowers are still blooming.
I helped Mr. Brad work in his backyard.  When we finished his work, he came over and I showed him how I play with my fire station.

I took a bath, then I sat on my great grandparents bed and built a truck out of another kind of building block.  We have these blocks at school also.  (It looks like there is a big bruise on my right side, but that is just a shadow.)

I was happy to see Mommy arrive after she got off work.  I got to play with Carson after we got home.  I like playing with my GG parents, Barbara, Mimz, Daddy, and Mommy, but I sort of like playing with kids more.

I said something was "frustrating" and I used it at an appropriate time. A couple of days ago, I said some thing happens "automatically."  I surprise my caregivers with some of the words I use.

I had a big fan club out supporting my soccer team.  GGM, Grandma, PaPa, Mommy, Daddy, Barbara...
.. and two special guests Bridget and Chris B, who came to town to go to Cody's annual crawfish boil.  Mimz and Aunt Kathy went to go visit Uncle Don in Waxahachie.
I do have my share of ball time.

My soccer team is, well, motley is the best word I can come up with.  We still have criers, and day dreamers who just walk off the field.  This was not my best game.  Instead of playing for the ball, I am having so much fun running and watching and goofing off with the other boys.  One day I will catch the sporting bug and really care about winning.  I did score one goal, at least, we think I did.  It might have been another boy who scored but I was right there so we are not really sure who scored.
Towards the end of my game, Aunt B, Chris, and Daddy were kicking a soccer ball around on the next empty field.  I sure wanted to be over there with them instead of playing my own game.

Mommy had MRI on her foot this afternoon.  On Tuesday she takes the pictures to the doctor to an orthopedic surgeon so he can read them to see what needs to be done.  Daddy and I played at home

We decided I would not wear my new shoes to play outside because the grass and ground were wet and it might rain today, so I wore Big Mason's old tennis shoes.

I helped fix mashed potatoes.  We had leftover salmon patties.  Sometimes I love them and other times I say I don't like them.  I did love the corn.  I like most vegetables.  For dessert I had a homemade Fiber One cereal bar that I think is candy.

We picked up sweet gum tree balls, swept up a puddle of water, and played horseshoes before we all agreed it was hot and we were ready to go inside the cool house.   I watched an episode of Gunsmoke about a wolf.  We read a few books that were former favorites of mine.  They are too babyish for me now, but I did like reading them even so.
We played Fireman with Grandma's bear, Barbara's octopus, and my Monk Monk and a few other stuffed toys.   I gave away most of my stuffed animals to the Boy Scout who was collecting 500 as a part of his Eagle Scout project.  Someplace we have Mommy's Mr. Bill clown.  I need us to look for him.
I was playing in the tub when Daddy showed up to take me home, so we had to quickly get me dry and dressed.  My hair was still wet, but Daddy said we could let it air dry.

Happy 14th birthday to my only first cousin, Morgan.
Mimz drove to Morgan's home so she could spend time with Morgan, give her her gifts, and go out for a birthday dinner with Uncle Scott, Aunt Jill, and Peg, Aunt Jill's mother.  Mimz enjoyed spending the next day visiting with Peg. I wish I could spend today with her, but she lives too far away and we both have to go to school.

I hit my crazy bone today for the first time.
After school Mimz and I went shopping.  One thing we bought was a pair of size 11 blue tennis shoes for me.  My old shoes were  size 9.5.   Mimz said I could play in them but to put on my old shoes to play in water or mud.  They are so pretty I think I will do my best to keep them clean.
These pictures show a part of our Gunsmoke play.  I don't have to have a real toy gun.  I sometmes use my imaginary hand gun.
GGF shot me...
... and I put on quite a show....
I squarm a lot before I final collapse.  I can lay there without moving for a long time.  Then I get up and say, "Let's do that again."

I sometimes say Grandma and Barbara can put away the toy we have been playing with (a puzzle, game, or anything with a lot of pieces) and that I dont' want to help.  I then find myself having to make a choice:  help them pick up or play the next activity by myself.   I always help and I do a good job helping, getting right in there and working quickly to get it done.

GGF, GGM, and Barbara slept, then they got up and got back to work at stuffing envelopes.  It took the three of them almost three hours to complete the job.  That is nine man hours.

Mommy took me to Mimz' home and Mimz fed me and got me off to school.
I have a new ABC game.  We did not have time to play it before school, so we will play it after school.
I came home from school with a red mark below my right eye and another one just below my eyebrow.  I told Mimz that Hannah and I accidentally ran into each other and bumped heads.  Hannah cried, but I didn't.

Mimz and I played non-stop.
We took a play break to watch a little TV.  I surprised Mimz... I had my head on her leg and when she looked at me, I was asleep.  I took a nap on Saturday also.  I just play so hard, I sometimes, need a little rest.

Mimz was about to wake me up, when Daddy texted her that soccer practice was canceled due to rain.  Too bad... we sure need the practice.  I think we have maybe played as many games as we have had practices.

There was a large apartment under construction that caught on fire.   Mimz and I saw it on the news and that got us started at playing fireman.
On the TV, the apartment walls were falling, so we put some blocks on top of our toy buildings and had them into falling walls.  I have enjoyed playing fireman since I was a little boy.
We also played with some of my other toys that we have not played with in "forever."
Like my play food.  I fixed Mimz a big big dinner.
I had a very hard time getting into my old toy pickup.  I was shorter than this pickup when I first started playing with it.   I had fun driving in on Mimz driveway.  I had to take tiny tiny steps to make it go.

My day consisted of school, TOT basketball, and play at Barbara's all afternoon.
GGM thinks I am tiring of playing with our Car Town.
We still do play with it every day several times a day, but maybe not as much.   Part of it may be that it is getting warm enough to spend more time outside and I sure like being outside.  The big open space in the middle of Car Town is where cars park to go to baseball games, or it is where our golf course is, or it is where the zoo is when it is in town.  We have a real problem with lack of real estate for all the things we want in Car Town.

Mommy let me go over to Carson's by myself today to play.  She sat in a chair on the driveway to watch me.  Jennifer was outside watching us also.
GGF, GGM, and Barbara's day job is babysitting me.  They sometimes have work to do at night.  Here they are labeling and stuffing envelopes for Grandma's job.  They are glad to help her when they can.   GGM has always says we should always help one another in all kinds of ways.

Happy 34th birthday, Mommy.
I blew out her Cheesecake candle at The Cheesecake Factory.  We had a party of ten at our party: Mommy, Daddy, Mimz, Grandma, PaPa, GGF, Barbara, Andy, Kristan, and me.  GGM's eye was hurting a bit, so she stayed home.  I had a hot dog and fries.  Other people had shrimp, pasta, chicken, and cheeseburgers.  GGF picked up the tab as his gift to Mommy.  Daddy's cousin Donnie , the area director for the Cheesecake Factory, gave us complimentary appitizers and lots of complimentary cheesecake to take home.
I didn't want to have my picture taken outside the restaurant.   Sometimes I am like that.  I don't know why.

A funny thing:  Barbara told Grandma her computer is full and she is going to have to start deleting pictures.  She has 9 gigs of pictures of Andy, 8 gigs of Bridget's pictures, and 2 gigs of Christina.  (Andy has so many gigs because of his wedding videos. Bridget has so many gigs because of volleyball.)  She was only going to keep the ones she wants to look at, so Grandma and the kids were going to have to be the "keepers of their own pictures."  (Barbara made thumb drives for Andy, Bridget, and Mommy with their own pictures.)   Now for the funny part: Later Grandma happened to think to ask this question:  "Barbara, how many gigs do you have of Mason's pictures?"   Answer:  "Oh, 53 gigs."   Do you think she would delete any of them? ...... Think again.

Why so many gigs of me?  Well, part of the reason is videos take up a lot of space and each of my pictures are about 2MB, where as the older pictures of ABC were scanned into the computer and are not nearly that large.
Here is the other reason:  Which of these pictures should Barbara delete?

She struggles to delete any picture of me... so she probably keeps too many.
Except for going to Mommy's birthday party, it was a routine day.

My soccer game started at 8:30am, which means everyone had to get up very early to get to the game on time.  It was a long drive for Mimz, and Grandma and PaPa... but they all arrived on time.  Mommy, Daddy, GGM, and Barbara were there also to cheer for my team.
At halftime Daddy gave me a drink.
We are not very good soccer players.    Coach Ken's daughter and I (and a boy who was not there today) were the only ones that don't cry, wander off, or need frequent breaks.  I think I would be better if I were playing with a better team.  But we had fun.
I think I scored two goals and got in a couple good kicks.  I sometimes tend to kick the ball and stop.  I often am on the outside, not in the "bunch" with the ball.  If someone falls, I stop to make sure they are not hurt, instead of continuing to go after the ball.

After the game, I took a three hour nap.

I am in the habit of saying I am not hungry after Mommy drops me off at Barbara's home on her way to work.  I am so ready to start playing.  We play for a short time, then I will agree to eat breakfast.
Just like last week, Barbara and I were in the bathroom brushing our teeth, when we spotted deer.  Today the same thing happened and there were ten of them.  In this picture you can only see six (if you look closely).

I think I was only in Time Out one time this week.  I get One... Two... and then I straighten up... most of the time.
Mimz gave me five jungle animals to add to the Car Town Zoo.  We had to look on the Internet to find out that one of the animals is an ibex (the yellow one).  One of them is a laughing hyena.  We Googled laughing hyena sounds and then listened to what that animal sounds like.  It is amazing what can be instantly found on the Internet.  It's like having an entire library right there on the computer, iPhone, and iPad.
I am a lucky boy to be alive at this time and have all of this information there for me to learn.

It was so nice outside, I went shirtless during one outside play time.

We practice kicking my soccer ball every day.
The back fence is our goal.
I picked some flowering weeds for GGM.
I was interested in the chimnea.  I heard there is going to be some burning done soon.  I think it will happen when I am not here.  Bummer.
After I picked up a handful of the sawdust left behind after the tree removal, I started sneezing and sneezing over and over.  I must be allergic to something.

As soon as we went inside, I took a bath to remove that alergen from my body.
