Mommy got me up in plenty of time but I needed all that time because I was slow about getting dressed. I got on Barbara's wrong side again. I was in the garage waiting for the bus, when Barbara asked if I had brushed my teeth. I didn't answer her. (the answer was "no"). She took my football. I said I wanted my football. Her reply was I want you to brush your teeth. I came to realize that if I wanted my football I had to brush my teeth. I did and I got my football back.
I just can't leave well enough alone. I was mad so on my way out the door, I tore up a piece of paper and dropped the four pieces on the floor. It was not an important piece of paper, but it was not mine.
When I opened the door to come inside I noticed the four pieces of paper were still on the floor. I was told I needed to pick them up. Fortunately I did pick them up immediately without any comment. Barbara had already gotten permission to give me a consequence if I ignored the request.
I noticed there was no Cinnamon Toast Crunch, so I asked for an root beer float. I ate a grilled cheese sandwich, then I had a root beer float. I still did not add the cereal to the list.

Happy 31st birthday, Bridget.
And thank you for spending two days with us at Fiesta Texas and Sea World. Papa and Grandma were especially pleased that they didn't have to ride all of these rides with me.
Barbara fixed my breakfast and my medicine but she did not help me pick out clothes or get dressed. She is not doing much for me any more. She says for two reasons: one I'm old enough to do most things for myself and my horrible behavior towards her. By horrible behavior she means I don't answer her or don't do the things she tells me to do, plus other things. And she gives me consequences and they are for a week not just a day. As of now, I can't use her iPhone, charger, or brick for two weeks. I don't care because I have my own phone.
Mommy took me to my 7:15am running club.
I thought Mrs Gardner was going to be back in the classroom but she wasn't.
The only thing I would eat after school was cereal. I ate the last of the box. There are no plans to go to the grocery store today, so I guess I will have to eat something else tomorrow. Another thing, I was told I needed to write Cinnamon Toast Crunch on the grocery list if I wanted it to be purchased next time someone went to the grocery store. Barbara told me twice this evening and Mommy told me once. I either said nothing, or ok later. Guess what? I didn't write it on the list. Barbara did not purchase that cereal when she went to the store.
Barbara wants me to read during the 30 minutes I had before Mimz would arrive to take me to baseball practice. There was no way that was going to happen.
Mimz brought me some gifts from her vacation in Hawaii on the island of Maui. One was a towel that I can use for swim team. Another gift was a Hang Ten t-shirt and two large bead necklaces. The beaded necklaces are what the men dancers wear at a luau instead of the flower lei that the women wear.
I had a really great practice, one of my best. I hit well and fielded great.
Mommy ordered me a new pair of shoes. Not the expensive ones I wanted but ones that will do. I go through shoes like there were disposable.

I started the day being a good boy. I rinsed my cereal bowl and put it in the dishwasher without being told to.
But soon after I started playing Fortnight I became disrespectful and disobedient.
I spent about half of the day playing Fortnight and the other half outside playing with a bunch of neighborhood boys.
Mostly we played basketball or hide and seek.
I skipped baseball practice. Actually I think it had to be cancelled because very few boys could come. This weekend I will be with my dad.
Bradley and Lucas bonding before bedtime.

I woke up and immediately started playing Fortnight.
It was noon before I would eat and then I would only eat cereal. I went outside a couple of times to shoot baskets otherwise I was playing Fortnight all day until my dad came to get me. I would not read, or play games, or help cook.
I had a run in with Barbara. She said I needed to unpack my bag from my vacation. I was not going to do it. I said I was going with my dad soon and she couldn't make me. Barbara texted my dad. He agreed it had to be done. So I unpacked and put away my toiletries. I even put my dirty clothes in the washing machine.
It all took less than ten minutes. Later Barbara helped me fold and put away my clothes. I'm afraid she is going to expect me to start doing chores. I hope I do them willingly, but I expect I will not.

Bridget had to go to work today, so just Grandma, Papa, and I went to Sea World.
They had three large roller coasters. Papa thought about going on one with me but he could see that it had one loop and one twisty part so he decided he would like me go and check it out to make sure it wasn't too "rough". I rode by myself and came out saying, "It was not bad, it was fun." So being a good sport, Papa decided to go with me. He rode it. He got off and said to Grandma, "He lied." It turns out it had three loops and four twisty parts and Papa was feeling bad again. I rode that and other roller coasters all day by myself and I always wanted the front seat. I would even let people go ahead of me so I could get the first seat on the next go around.
We went to two shows. The first one was seals and otters. The next one was the whales. Very interesting but when there were over, I was ready to run to the roller coasters again.
Seeing the dolphins and a whale swim in the big tank was amazing.
Right before Grandma snapped this picture, I had turned to talk to Papa, when I turned back the dolphin was right there and I was startled. We got home about 30 minutes before Bridget and Chris. Papa looked at the weather and noticed it was going to rain on us the entire drive back home in the morning. Grandma suggested us driving back tonight. Good idea. I had a great time, but I was also ready to get home. We waited for Bridget and Chris, said goodbye and drove for three hours, getting me home at 9pm.

Today I went to Six Flags Fiesta Texas with Papa, Grandma, and Bridget.
Uncle Chris and Catherine went to work and day care.
Bridget, Silvester, and me.
Surprisingly none of the events we went to were crowded. We thought being Spring Break the places would be packed but it was supposed to rain every day and maybe that kept lots of people away. It rained just a little for ten minutes at Fiesta Texas and done the next two days.
Bridget rode on all the rides with me today. this swing ride was Bridget's least favorite. I liked it but I liked all of the roller coasters also.
The only bad thing about today was poor Papa and the only roller coaster he rode. It was fast and twisty and at some point it did something that really made him sick. He didn't "get sick" but he felt awful for a couple of hours. The rest of that story is that he and Grandma rode on a water log ride with Bridget and me. Papa was in the very front car and he got soaked. So he was really wet, cold, and sick! He had a miserable half day.
Grandma did the bumper cars with us.
We bought a family pack lunch of chicken tenders, fries, and drinks. We got home about the same time that Chris came home with Catherine. Catherine's day care is right across the street from Chris' office so he can go check on her anytime he wants to.

Mimz is in Hawaii. She took these pictures of a whale in the Pacific Ocean...

I held Catherine while they were getting ready to get the show on the road.
I was pretty excited to be going inside Natural Bridge Caverns. I believe this is the first time I have been inside a cave.
Bridget and Chris both took days of vacation so they could go to the caverns with us. Notice that is Papa and me standing with our backs to the camera. We all walked the seven miles through the caverns.
It was pretty and I learned about stalagmites and stalactites. Grandma said this cavern was not as cold as Carlsbad Caverns.
This huge maze was a lot of fun and we all did it. We had to make our way to four different locations in the maze to have completed it successfully. I was super good at this. I even helped strangers find their way to some of the locations.
Next Bridget and I were off to take on a zip line challenge.
In this picture I'm getting strapped in.
This was a first for me.
Look Ma! No hands!
Obstacle course with Bridget
I was a little timid at first and I didn't go all the way to the top, but I did most of the course. Bridget stayed right behind me all the time.
Either Bridget or Chris carried Catherine the entire day. She was super good.
Mommy ordered a shirt for me for Field Day. Field day and Dream Mile day are my favorite days of the school year.
A picture of GGM holding Lucas. Barbara and Grandma drove to Andy and Kristan's home to meet Lucas. They stopped at Panda Express to by lunch for everyone.
Today is Andy's last day off to help with the new baby. He and Kristan say Lucas has been easy to take care of so far. Anna Kate and Bradley come home tomorrow. Their grandmother Sandy will stay for a couple of days.
