I had my clothes all laid out so it was very easy to eat breakfast, brush my teeth, get dressed and make it to the bus with plenty of time to spare.

I enjoyed my first day back at school after the Thanksgiving Break.   Behavior = Red = Outstanding.

I had two pieces of GGM's Fiber One Cereal bar.

I played with my friends until 6pm, which was the time both Mommy and Kristan arrived.  I agreed to try the Mexican Casserole and I liked it.   Then I got to eat another piece of Fiber One bar.

Mommy and I sat at the dining room table and worked on my homework.  I was not being very co-operative.  Hopefully I learn soon that if I pay attention it can be done in half the time it takes when I stall.

After a bath, brushing my teeth, picking out my clothes for tomorrow, and putting Compound W on my wart, I got to get in bed and play with my iPad.

Around 1pm, Mommy and I came home.  I played with Anthony and Alyssa and Cole for awhile, then I had to get ready to go to Knox' fourth birthday party.  Mommy drove me to Mimz' home and Mimz took me to the party.

I played on Knox' trampoline, and with his bow and arrow, and with his Zombie Strike Nerf gun. 
They had a pinata.  I took several swings and Mimz was enjoying watching me and she forgot to take my picture. 

I picked up my share of the candy.  I ate pepperoni pizza.  They had cupcakes but I didn't eat one.  I had a lot of fun.  Mimz met Mommy at Sprouts Food Market so I could go home.

I played with Anthony and Alyssa for thirty minutes, then I had to come and start getting into the frame of mind that tomorrow is Back To School!  There was plenty to eat for dinner but I only wanted pancakes and milk.  I read 19 pages of Go Dog Go.  I'm trying to learn to read it all by myself.

I draw pictures and wrote the names of what they were.  I have a problem of wanting to use capital letters.  Hard habit to break.

Lights out at 8:26pm and I was asleep in five minutes.

Mommy and I came home from the lake in the middle of the afternoon.  Of course, I wanted to play with my neighborhood friends.  Oh, I did first come inside to show Barbara and my great grandparents the hole in my teeth.  Barbara was so happy to see it.  She said I am the cutest boy she has ever seen!

After 5pm, Mommy and I went over to Andy's so we could watch the OU vs OSU football game with Grandma, Papa, Bridget, and Chris B.  It was a run-away game for OU, which we all enjoyed.

Mommy and I spend the night at Andy's.  It was late before the football game was over and I was asleep so we stayed there.

Happy Birthday, Daddy!  We celebrated yesterday with cake, but today is the real deal. Forty years ago Thanksgiving Day was on the day you were born.

I found a box of old Lincoln Logs in a closet at Grandma's home.  Chris B. and I built a fort.

I got to play with Maddox for only an hour.  He got in trouble and I had to go back to Grandma's home.

Everyone except Bubba and Papa played Left, Right, Center.  I played for my mommy.  It is a gambling game and I quickly caught on and could play it well.  I ended up losing five games, which was a total of $15.00.  Bridget was the big winner.

I woke up and didn't remember about my lost tooth right off.  But after a reminder from Mimz, I ran to my bed and under my pillow was my Tooth Fairy pillow.  My little tooth was gone and it it's place was $5. WOW!  Mimz told me it was probably so much because it was my first lost tooth.  

I think I will spend the tooth money on Pokemon cards.  Mimz reminded me I should save some of it,
That is a good idea.

Happy Thanksgiving.   We have much to be thankful for:  Family, friends, health, home, living in the U. S. A.  and so much more.

I helped in the kitchen.  One of the things I did was empty the dishwasher. And I helped set the table.
I ate Thanksgiving dinner with at Mimz with Daddy, Aunt Helen, Holly, Kennedy, Uncle Scott, Aunt Jill, and Morgan.

Late in the afternoon, I went up to the lake to Grandma and Papa's home.  The guys were outside watching a football game.  That was a great opportunity for me to get Andy, Austin, Chris, Fred (Chris B's dad) and Papa to throw a football around with me.

With so much family around, the talk came around to first cousins.  I have two first cousins: Morgan and Anna Kate.  My mom has two first cousins:  Austin and Elizabeth.  My grandma and Barbara have 43 first cousins and they can name them all!  They also had 20 aunts and 20 uncles including they ones by marriage.  Mimz has 14 cousins and Daddy has five: Lyndsey, Lacey, Lilly, Donnie, and Holly.

At 9am, I went over to Anthony's and played until 10am with him, his sister and Cole.
At 10am I went home to see Anna Kate for a couple of minutes, change my shirt, and head off to my last scrapbooking class.  Barbara drove me there to meet Grandma, because Grandma does not have a car seat for me.

GGM and Barbara babysat AK while Kristan got her hair cut and colored.  Baby Girl has grown and learned new things while she has been with her grandparents.  She raises her arms when you ask her if she is a big girl.  And she can now shake her head "no."

Anna Kate laid her head down to rest, but just for a few seconds. She got sleepy but she was having too much fun to take a nap.

 Today's scrap booking class was our making a gingerbread train.  

 There were 2 sisters from one family, and 3 sisters from another family, and me.  I was the youngest.  One girl was seven-years-old.  Our teacher was Alec. 

I built the train, and ate the frosting as I went along.  There were all kinds of candies to decorate with and eat.

Mommy only worked half a day, so she came to my class at 12:30pm.

 I was having fun, probably hyper from eating so much sugar while building and decorating my train.

Class was over at 1pm.  Mommy took me to Mimz home.  Daddy, Kennedy, Holly, and Aunt Helen were there.

I was so happy to see Kennedy, her mother Holly, and her grandmother Aunt Helen.  I told everyone about my loose tooth.   Around 4pm Kennedy played dentist...

... and after a couple of minutes she managed to pull out my first baby tooth.

  Mimz took a video of the event.  It is too large of a file to post on the blog.  It didn't hurt and I played super cool, but I really was pretty nervous and excited because I had never lost a tooth before.   I put my little tooth in the pocket of my Tooth Fairy pillow and I had it ready to take to bed with me.   I fell asleep on the couch so Mimz put it under the pillow on my bed.

Again I was awake early, 6:45a.  Mommy was still sleeping, so I got in Barbara's bed.  She is always awake before I am.  I used her iPad.  I have to wait until December 1st before I can use her phone.  My punishment for throwing her phone was a full month of not using it.  I forget and ask to use it, she never forgets that I can't.

I worked on perfecting my magnet toy trick.  I did it for GGM and GGF and they were impressed.  I'll perform it for everyone at the lake.

Barbara wanted me to go through my flash cards, but I was not interested.  She did not push the subject, but I bet she will try again before the day is over.

Anna Kate comes home today.  Bridget and Chris B drive to town after work tonight.  Lisa, Danny, and Elizabeth fly in today.  Austin and Tim fly in on Wednesday, I think.

I had to wait until 9am to knock on Anthony's door.  Barbara thinks they could be sleeping late since they don't have to get up early.  At 9am Anthony and Alyssa came out to play with me until 10:10am, then I had to go to my scrapbooking class with Barbara.

We had three projects to work on.  We made four scrapbooking pages...

two for Halloween...

two for School, and ...

a Christmas card.  It was simple.  Well, neither Barbara or I knew how to use a sticky glue thing and it wasn't easy, so we were given two faced tape and that worked well.  I would pull off a bit of tape and stick in to the wrong side of the cutout, then I would lay it on the backing page.  Barbara had to re-position some of my cutouts.  On her lunch hour Mommy came to help me.  I was enjoying the work.  I had finished two projects, when Mommy said she had to go back to work, I decided I wanted to go to work with her, which I could not do.  I ran outside and that is when my trouble started.  I refused to go back inside insisting that I was going with Mommy.  Well, Mommy had to leave, so she did.  Of course, Barbara couldn't catch me, so she talked to me telling me there would be consequences if I did not come back inside.  I refused.  We discussed exactly what the consequences would be.  I still refused.  Barbara got our things from the classroom, and got in the car.  I then said I would go with her.

I said I was going to run outside when we got home, but I fell asleep in the car and I didn't have a chance to run outside.  Barbara held my arm until I was safely in my room.  That is where I was going to stay from 1pm until bed time.  The meant no playing with friends, no iPad, and I could not go over to Andy's where I could see Anna Kate, and Bridget.  That was okay with stubborn me.   I was allowed out to go to the bathroom and to eat at the table.  Otherwise I had to stay in my room by myself.  Barbara would not play anything with me except she would read to me and play with my flash cards.  She read Twas the Night Before Christmas, which I really really enjoyed.  And we went through my flash cards.  

I just knew when Mommy got home, she would take me to Andy's.  I was mistaken.  She did give me a bath before she did something I certainly didn't expect.  Barbara thought Mommy should go to Andy's without me.... so she went to Andy's and I cried.  I was reminded that I chose the consequence and maybe next time, I would think before I refused to do as I was told.

I did clean up the mess I had made in my room playing by myself.  Barbara helped finish the job.

I got into Mommy's bed to read to myself and I was almost asleep when I felt a very very loose tooth in my mouth!  I was now wide awake and so excited and nervous. I wanted it to come out tonight and I tried to wiggle it over and over.  It really moves backward and forward and it bled just a tiny bit but it did not come out.

Barbara suggested she get in bed with me and read to me.  I picked out Green Anacondas.  I so enjoy that book.  I have lots of the facts memorized.

It also made me forget about my loose tooth and I fell asleep before 8:30pm.  

Happy Birthday, Grammie!

I woke up at 6:20 and found Barbara awake reading on her iPad.  I climbed into her bed and we watched Lab Rats.  When I decided I was ready to eat, we fixed grits, bacon, and milk for me.  Barbara worked on a Sudoku puzzle with GGF.  GGM was still sleeping while Mommy got ready for work.  I helped gather trash from trash cans because the trash is picked up today.

Barbara's TV remotes were not working right, and I had a rifle that needed new batteries, so we got out the battery tester.  Barbara showed me how to remove batteries and how to replace them. and I tested them all.  Yep, we needed new batteries.

At 9:15am Barbara finally let me knock on Anthony's door.  They were not dressed yet, but said they would get dressed and come knock on my door.  They knocked on the door at 9:25am.  We played non-stop until I had to come in to eat lunch at 12:30pm.  We played in my room a lot.  Barbara helped us pick the room up once, then we made another little mess, which we forgot to pickup.

We played with the old-fashioned Tinker Toys for a long time.

We came downstairs to show what we had built.

We had a snack of Fiber One cereal.

Daddy let me wear a cross that was his when he was a little boy.

Grammie was at our home visiting with GGM and GGF and Barbara.  They ate lunch and talked and worked on a jigsaw puzzle.  At 1:15pm Barbara and GGF drove me to the scrap booking place, so I could attend a scrap booking camp with Grandma.  It was from 1:30 to 4pm today, and will just be a couple of hours in the morning on Tuesday and Wednesday.   There were six children.  We decorated a t-shirt and we decoupaged our capital letter initial.  I decorated my M in a football theme.  I had a lot of fun and can't wait to come again tomorrow.  The class was over at 2:45p today.  Barbara came to pick me up.

I played with the neighbor kids from 3p until 6:30pm.  I was invited to eat spaghetti and meatballs with them.  Yea.

Daddy is feeling poorly.  Mr Finch and Mimz' neighbor girls have had what is going around.  Hope Daddy feels better soon.  He did take me to my 10:30am baseball game.  My fans were Daddy, Mimz, Mommy, and Barbara.  It was 45 degrees at the start of my game.  GGM and GGF didn't come because of the cold weather.  I had base hit and made it to second base.  I played catcher a few innings and first base a couple of innings.  I had never played those positions and really didn't know what to do.  I also am not a strong catcher or thrower.  I did enjoy the experience though.   We lost badly.   22 to 5, I think.

I again played catcher all but two innings.  Those two innings I played center field.  I had one good hit, a fly ball that was caught.  These were my last games of the season.

Mommy and I went over to Andy's to visit with them and with Grandma, Papa, Grammie, and Bubba.  Baby Anna Kate was still with Kristan's parents in New Brunsfield.

Barbara started saving Dr. Pepper bottle tops a long time ago.  The container is almost full and I decided to count them.  Barbara told me to put them in piles of ten and then count by tens to come up with a total.  I then had Mommy guess how many there were.  I would tell her more or less until she came up with the correct number: 193.  When Grandma called, we played that same game over the phone.

Barbara saves her pennies, nickles, and dimes.  She has a bunch of them, so we started separating them.  We didn't finish before I wanted eat a bedtime snack of frozen raisin bread.  We will try to finish that job tomorrow.

I like to read books out-loud.  I may not read it perfectly, but from reading the words I do know, looking at the pictures, and my memory of having read the book before, I do a good job of reading.

I didn't want to take a bath, so I will take one in the morning.  There is no school this Thanksgiving week.  I was asleep before 9pm.  

I woke up at Grandma and Papa's home.  I checked and I still had two small loose teeth in my mouth.

I helped Grandma make some candy using peanuts and the crock pot.  I added all the ingredients to the crock pot and stirred.  Then all we had to do was wait for it to cook.

Papa, Grandma, Mommy, and I drove to the airport to pick up Grammie and Bubba.

Daddy came to get me so I could spend the weekend with him.

 I woke up at 6:30am, happy, and ready to get ready for school.  I asked Barbara to pick out three shirts for me to wear and I would make the final selection.  It has been fun having her here in the mornings to help Mommy and me get ready for work and school.  She fixed my breakfast (left-over kalache and chocolate doughnut) and Mommy's lunch and coffee, while working a Sudoku puzzle with GGF.

I wrote Mrs. Meredith a note on a Post-it pad and I am going to give her the entire pad.  I like giving her little gifts.  

I was the first child at the bus stop.  Jackson didn't ride the bus yesterday or today and he didn't play last night.  I hope he is not sick.

Barbara and GGF came to my school to eat lunch with me.  At 10:48a Mrs. Meredith lead my class to the cafeteria.  GGF and Barbara were waiting at the parents table for us to show up.  We are the last kindergarten class to eat lunch.  I went to the end of my class line so I could show them what to do.  We had a choice of hamburger, cheeseburger, or orange chicken with rice.  We all three chose orange chicken.  You must take a fruit.  All the bananas were gone so we all had applesauce.  We had baby carrots, and dill pickle spears.  I had a carton of milk and a red colored fudge-cycle-looking bar. Every Friday I get an ice cream type dessert.  At the cashier, I entered my code, and the lady made it good for three meals, then I led us to the parents table.

They asked me a few questions, but I was not being very talkative.  Sometimes I talk, sometimes I don't.

When GGF and Barbara had finished eating and were ready to leave, I took my tray over to my class and sat with them to finish.  GGF and Barbara stopped at the entrance to read about Dr. Metzler, whom my school is named after.  They enjoyed this little outing with me.  Barbara said next time, she thinks she will stop at Subway and bring in sandwiches for us to eat.  We saw parents who had done that.  Barbara noticed that between 1/4 and 1/3 of my class brought their lunch from home, and the rest went through the lunch line.

I played outside with my friends after school for almost an hour.  Barbara watched us while taking to Helene, one of Pearl's caretakers.  Helene made the comment that she loves seeing the children out playing.  She said you don't see that as much any more as you did in years past, before there were electronic things to occupy their time.

Barbara, GGF, and I drove to the Valero gas station on Hy 1488 near I-45 to meet my mom after work.  Mommy and I then drove to the lake to visit with my grandparents.  Maddox' was not home so I did not get to play with him.  I played football in the front yard with Papa and Mommy.  Mommy and I were a team against Papa.

I think I was awake at 6:30am this morning at Mimz home.   We decided to go to the doughnut shop and get kalachies and doughnuts for GGM, GGF, and Barbara.  I was happy to arrive bearing food for them.  GGM was still asleep, but GGF was ready for a bear claw.  Later Barbara and GGM shared a bear claw.  Then they cut them into small pieces and froze them for treats at another time.  Thank you, Mimz.

Mimz thanked Mommy for my school pictures she gave to Mimz.  My pictures turned out great.

Everyone keeps checking to see if I have lost either of my loose teeth.  The answer, so far, has been "not yet."   I have a Tooth Fairy pillow at home and Mrs Finch gave Mimz one so I have one at her house also... so I am prepared.

I agreed to wait until 7:30am to go to the bus stop.  Cole arrived the same time I did.  Anthony and Alyssa showed up soon after.  Jackson didn't ride the bus today.

I played with Anthony, Alyssa, and Cole until it was dark, then Mommy turned on the driveway spotlights so we could play a little longer.

Today we had a Thanksgiving Dinner at school for lunch.  And guess what I had for dinner tonight?  Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, and dressing!  GGM and Barbara fixed their own turkey so they would have left-over turkey and fixings.  They won't get left-overs on the real Thanksgiving Day because Grandma and Papa will need all their left-overs to fed their out-of-town family.

I found a piece of paper and wrote a note that said:  I love Mommy and Barbara.  Mason. 

I was supposed to be getting my clothes off while Barbara made a bubble bath for me, but I saw my Green Anaconda library book and got interested in it.  Barbara and I read it to me.  We used my globe to find South America where anacondas live.

I was in the bathtub before 7pm.  I had five super hero action figures in the tub with me and boy did we have all kinds of battles.

Starting at 7:30pm I did homework and read for 30 minutes.  Then I had 30 minutes of iPad before lights out.  

I had a hard time waking up.  I need to be asleep before 9:30pm.  Our goal is 8:30pm bedtime, but it is not always possible.  I started out having a bad attitude but it didn't last long.

Mommy needed to go to Kroger and I was ready for school so I went with her and then she dropped me off at school.  I was there before my bus.

I had mini corn dogs for lunch.

My bus and Mimz arrived at my bus stop at the same time.  Today was Metzler Spirit Day at Papa Murphy's Pizza.  Barbara went to pick up a pizza and a spirit stick for me.  It had green, white, and red strips and said Pizza on it.  Mimz put it on my key ring.  We all (GGM, GGF, Mimz, Barbara, and I) sat down to a pizza party, then Mimz and I headed to her home.

I skated on the driveway for a long time.  Then Mimz and I played football.  Daddy came over for dinner.  We ate the Greek food Mrs. Finch had given to Mimz.  She is Greek and we all loved it.  Before 7:30pm we had my homework done, bath taken, and had read a library book about snakes that I brought home today.  We started watching the movie Free Willie.

Before bed I read from my Bible book.

I quickly ate my breakfast and did some homework so I could go to the bus stop a little early.  My friends and I like to visit while we wait for the bus.

I had to come inside and do some homework before I could go play with my friends.  That was because tonight is Skate Night.

Mimz came over around 5:15pm.  She drove Barbara and me to the skating rink.  It was not crowded and I did not see anyone I knew except for my gym teacher for the first hour.  Then 3 or 4 children I knew showed up.  No one from my class was there.  We left soon after 7:30pm because it is a long drive back home and then Mimz still has to drive to her home.

I wasn't unhappy, I just didn't want my picture taken.  Thank you Mimz for paying my way and getting me a piece of pizza.  I really am a pretty good skater for my age.

I didn't want to leave and complained the entire trip home that I wanted to go home with Mimz.  But after Mimz dropped us off, I was fine.  I ate a snack when I got home from school, then ate dinner, then had a slice of pizza at the skating party, then ate again before bed.  And then there are some days I eat very little.

Oh, I have a second loose tooth!  Another bottom one.  We hope I don't swallow them if they come loose while I am eating.

I was up and ready for school with time to spare.  I played a game on Barbara's iPad, then I read some of my flash cards.  I made some mistakes but I get better every day.

At 5pm I had to come in and eat dinner, dress for practice, read some of my new library book, and at 5:30pm Barbara took me to my last baseball practice.

Here we are warming up with some stretching exercises.  We practiced throwing and batting.  At home, I ate again before Mommy helped me take a bath and brush my teeth.

I discovered I have a loose tooth.  Bottom front tooth, on my left.  Barbara found my Tooth Fairy pillow, so we are ready for her to come when that tooth comes out.  I do have some long eyelashes and a few freckles.  The girls are going to love me one day.

I played on the iPad for ten minutes then it was lights out.  Of course, I claimed to be hungry.  I ate two pieces of frozen raisin bread, then I did get in bed and stay there.

I don't know when the last time I had bad behavior.  I know I was good Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and today.    I have to be good -- there is a school skating party on Tuesday that I want to get to go to.

Mommy and I got up early and we were back home by 10am.  We noticed Anthony's dog Zeus was running outside their fence so I ran to tell them he was lose and I helped catch him.

While playing in my room, I decided to write my numbers.  I wrote them up to 23.

I played with all the neighborhood kids.

This is November 15th.  Two weeks down and two more weeks to go before I can use Barbara's phone.  I have used it twice, but it was only because someone needed to talk to me.  I can't use it just because I want to make a call or play a game.

I woke up early.  Mommy was still asleep so I got into Barbara's bed and watched a show I have never seen before, The Lone Ranger.  She said it was a show she watched when she was a little girl.  It was in black and white.  I liked it and I watched a second episode which was in color.  I didn't want us to delete the shows so I could watch them again.

I asked for a surprise breakfast so Barbara fixed scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast on a tray for me to eat in bed while I watched Lab Rats.

By 9am Mommy and I were headed to the lake to visit Grandma and Papa.

A couple years ago we went to a Corn Maze and we decided to go back again.

This is my second time to be on a big tractor.  I sat in Wes' dad's tractor when I was younger.

Papa and I grilled some sausage and something else.  We worked in the yard.  We watched cartoons.  Mommy and I slept on the big sofa in the living room.  It was a fun day with my grandparents.
