I woke up before 7am asking if I could play my guitar. Barbara told me I must wait to sing until everyone was awake. So I went in to GGM bedside and told her it was time to wake up. She laughed when she heard why I was waking her up.
My nose is still a bit runny so I got medicine at 8am. I told Barbara Mimz gave me that same medicine in a sippie and I couldn't even taste it, so that is how Barbara gave it to me.
One new imaginative play I came up with was post office. GGF had four letters to be mailed. So one at a time I would put a letter in the box on the back of my little tricycle and rode it out to the mailbox. Barbara pretended to be a crossing guard and she stopped all traffic so I could put the letter in the mailbox. I did this four times.
GGM and I made snowmen out of Play Dough and we played with my trash truck. The pretend trash I picked up were some Megablocks. When my truck was full I would drive it to a dump site and empty my truck and repeat this process several times before I was ready to move on to a new activity. We blew bubbles outside and I played in the flowerbed dirt. Barbara kicked one of my rubber balls around the backyard with us. That is fun and we laugh a lot.
I'm constipated again. I get Merilax most mornings. I don't know why I sometimes have this problem.
GGM darned the onsie that my baby doll wears. The two big toes had small holes in them. This doll was my mother's when she was a little girl. She also did some darning for Barbara and for my mom. Darning is becoming a lost art. Thank you, Great Grandma.
Daddy came to pick my up after he got off work. I had my guitar, trash truck, extra pair of cowboy boots and some clothes in my wheelbarrow ready to walk it all to Daddy's truck when he got here. He offered to help me but I said I could do it by myself. That would have been a cute picture, but Barbara forgot to do her job of taking pictures of me.
Andy drove a u-haul from San Antonio this afternoon with his and Kristan's belongings. Bridget, Mommy, and Grandma helped him unloaded everything into the garage, so Ricardo could paint the inside of the house before they move their belongings inside. Kristan stayed in San Antonio because her mother just flew in from overseas and will stay a month. Andy and Kristan have been living in Kristan's parents new home. As Andy was pulling away with a u-haul loaded with their belongings, a moving truck was pulling up to Kristan's parent's home with their long term storage. It seems most of my family is moving this month.
