**** Pictures just now added going back to November 25th.****

First thing I did this morning was put on my new boots.  Oh, how I love boots!  We said  our goodbyes to our Tennessee family and we went over to Andy and Kristan's.  Daddy was there and we watched a very very exciting Alabama - Auburn football game.  Well, I watched some.  Mainly I wanted Andy and Bridget to throw the football with me.

We spend the night at Andy and Kristan's home.

When I was littler Bridget would sleep in a queen size bed with Mommy and me, but now that I am bigger, she chose to sleep on the sofa.   I do a lot of "traveling" while I sleep.

I ate a good breakfast, then drove with Mommy, PaPa, and Bubba, to take Tim to the airport.

We all went shopping.  Boy I am a lucky boy!  Aunt Lisa gave me a great gift: a new pair of brown dress boots and I love them.

We shopped at the Market Street in the Woodlands and ate lunch at Cafe Express.  It was 4pm and I was starving.  I ate a cheese burger and french fires.

At 5pm some of us left for home: PaPa, Bridget, Grammie, Bubba, and me.  The other's continued their search for Christmas presents.  One of the things we did back at the lake house was play Hide and Seek.  Oh what fun!  We play it often at Barbara's home, but there are few places for us to hide, so we have started hiding "things" instead of hiding ourselves.  But at the lake house, there are lots and lots of places for me to hide.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I had a very stuffed up nose.  Daddy gave me some meds last night and I let Mimz put a saline spray in my nose.   We did the same thing this morning.

I woke up once in the night calling for Mimz, but when Mimz came to check on me, I was asleep.
I must have been talking in my sleep.

I ate a whole bowl of my favorite maple brown sugar oatmeal for breakfast.
Daddy and I helped Mimz prepare Thanksgiving Dinner for Uncle Scott and Aunt Jill.  Mimz says Daddy is sure a big help and then she says I am too...haha..  I love for us to set the table with a tableloth and nice dishes.
Later in the afternoon Mimz, Daddy, and I drove to the lake so we could spend time with Mommy's family.

All of PaPa's family flew in from Tennessee. PaPa's parents, brother Tim, sister Lisa, brother-in-law Dan, nephew Austin, and niece Elizabeth.  GGM, GGF, and Barbara were there also. It is not often that they can all be together.  I was not sociable at first.  But later in the evening I was having a blast.  We watched the Texas-Texas Tech game.  Daddy and I rooted for Texas.  I think most of the others were for Texas Tech since that is the school where Kristan graduated.

Grandma, and everyone helped put together a nice Thanksgiving Dinner.  We ate leftovers in the evening.

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Bridget had to go to work in downtown Houston today.   At the end of her work day she will go to the lake.
Mommy is off work today.  We drove to the lake to visit with Grandma, PaPa, Grammie, Bubba, Tim, Lisa, Danny, Austin, and Elizabeth.  I was standoffish at first but got better in just a little time.

When Daddy got off work he came to Mimz home so we could celebrate his birthday.  After a good dinner we had cupcakes.
We both blew out the candles.
I choose a cupcake with sprinkles.
Yummy!  Happy Birthday, Daddy!  I only ate a couple bites right then, but I wanted to save the rest for later.

Tuesday, November 26, 2013

First thing I asked GGM was are we going to cook then play.  That is what Barbara told me we would do today.  I helped fix a Lemon Lush dessert.  Barbara made a mistake and added too much milk so it will be a dessert we eat ourselves and not share on Thanksgiving Day.  It was good just did not have a strong lemon flavor.

Barbara and I went to Wal-Mart.  I led the way to the bakery to get a cookie.  Then I lead the way to the milk and eggs.  I know they are at the back of the store.  We only got a few items so it was a quick trip.

We did a bunch of laughing today, just like yesterday.  I find the silly things we say to be funny and I laugh out loud.

I didn't want fruit at snack time.  I wanted a pancake.  So we compromised.  One bite of pancake, then a bit of grapes or cantaloupe, over and over.  I ate a bunch that way.  Lately I have been eating more than I normally do.   We weighed me today: 39 pounds.

We played lots of Keep Away, Power Rangers, and Cars.  I rested a couple of times, but (alas!) no nap.

I was good all day except for one bad spell when I had a really bad attitude.  A couple of Time Outs and a couple of swats on my jeans was not something I enjoyed.

Soon after Mommy and I got home, Bridget arrived.  She spent the night with us.

Monday, November 25, 2013

Mimz and I had breakfast, got dressed, and drove over to Barbara's home .  I was ready to start playing.  We played Cars, Power Rangers, and Fireman until lunch.  We ate potato soup and BBQ chicken. then we went back to our playing.

Barbara and I used to play with Play Dough every day, but it has been awhile so we decided to play again.   I asked her to make rattlesnake pizza (out of Play Dough).  It has been a couple of months since she made it for me, but I remembered.  We made trains, and mud puddles to make tracks in.
We played for a long time with a toy with wire and beads.  We had lots of races.  I don't know the name of it.

We had two rest periods where we laid down and watched Power Rangers and played with a new app Buttons and Bugs 2.  Barbara hoped I would fall asleep but I fooled her.

I helped make a crust for of a dessert called Lemon Lush.

We played a lot of Keep Away and more cars.  I have such a big voice when we are playing cars that after I leave, the house really really seems quiet.

We had a lot of fun laughing today.  Barbara starts talking in "nonsense" words and it is so silly we all laugh and laugh.  Then I talk in "nonsense" words and that is funny also.  They are impressed that I always know when Barbara is making up words.  I can tell real words from made up words.
I can be so ingrossed in watching a TV show I don't even know that my picture is being taken.  Notice I am holding onto Monk Monk's hair.  That is very soothing to me.

We also laugh at Barbara acting like she is doing karate.  GGF, GGM, and Barbara all fake laughing for a long time, I keep on really laughing at their laughing.  Barbara tells a story about how when she was a girl, she and her mom (GGM) and Brenda (Grandma) would be laughing and her dad, (GGF) would pretend to be laughing and would get down on the ground and roll around like he was hurting because he was laughing so hard.  Well, it would make the three of them really laugh even harder.
A few days ago Barbara took a picture of me asleep in my car seat.  I guess other children do the same thing.  This is a picture of Harper....
  ...and this is Hudson.
How neat!  Becket and a snake....
..and Landry and a snake!

I spent the afternoon and night with Mimz and Daddy.

I am definitely growing up. Mimz was sitting in the den and I went off to potty by myself.  She said she heard me turn on the water, and wash my hands without being reminded.

I took a one and a half hour nap.  Mimz said she hopes I will be ready for bed by 9pm, because she will be.
Mimz and I played with my school bus and the kids.  One of children is in a wheelchair.  I told Mimz he was handicapped.  She had not heard me use that term before.  I pushed the chair up the back ramp and made sure all the kids said, "Good morning" to each other.

Daddy and I played hall soccer.

Saturday, November 23, 2013

Mommy worked at a craft fair today, so Daddy took care of me.
Daddy and I went to Subway and I had a meatball sandwich.
Barbara took care of me for three hours while Daddy went to work out.  When I got to Barbara's, Grandma was there getting some dishes.  GGF, Barbara, and I played cars.  Normally it is GGM, but she was busy, so he took her place.  Then Barbara and I played Power Rangers.  I watched a new cartoon, I don't remember the name of it.

We spent the evening over at Andy's house.  Mommy was there when we arrived.
Bridget bowled a 212 game.  That helped make her Bowler of the Month at her work.

I slept in my tent all night.  PaPa fixed me breakfast and I helped him blow some leaves.

Grandma bought me a truck car-carrier.  It had about a dozen Hot Wheel cars, so I am one lucky boy to have a bunch of Hot Wheel cars at all of my homes.

Barbara and GGM drove up to the lake to visit.  Barbara and I played Fireman.
One time I pretended to have a stomach injury and Barbara was the fireman who came to my rescue.

I went to Lowe's with PaPa.  He bought me a Reece's Peanut Butter Cup in the shape of a tree.  I insisted on carrying it and it was sort of melted so Barbara cut it into small bites and I ate it off the tip of a non-sharp knife.  I do know better than to eat with a knife, this was a one time thing.
A funny thing: when it was time to leave.  Barbara was hurrying to put on my shoes.  When I stood up, I immediately noticed something was wrong.  She had put them on the wrong feet.  I took them off and fixed them myself.

I was very good for Grandma and PaPa.  They want to do this again.  So do I!
We got back to Barbara's home at 5pm.  I just had time to eat dinner before Mommy came to get me.

Thursday, November 21, 2013

I slept well last night after my tummy ache.   After breakfast and getting ready for school I wanted to play a new game.  First Mimz and I were both fireman going to talk to kids at school.  Next we were fireman dropping kids off at school.  Then we picked the kids up and took them home in the fire truck.  Mimz has an alarm set to let us know it is time to quit playing and leave for school.  Normally, I am agreeable to this, but today I wanted to keep playing.  Mimz had to do some fast talking and encourage me to get in the car.  After I was in the car, I was fine, ready to go to school...
I brought home Thanksgiving crafts I made at school.
I was so excited about the turkey made out of an apple.  I was so excited about it, I started eating it before Mimz could take a picture.  Notice one leg is missing....
I wanted to keep all of the crafts at Mimz ' home, but she managed to sneak some into my backpack for me to take home to Mommy and to the lake. .... Oh, I have a big evening planned...

Around 3pm I was a very happy and exited boy.  PaPa came to Mimz' home to get me.    When I was all buckled into his truck, Mimz said I had the biggest smile on my face.  I was looking forward to this adventure.  We drove to Andy's house where we met Grandma.  I helped load a nightstand into the truck.  I fell asleep on the drive to the grocery store. We shopped for a few groceries, drove to the lake house, unloaded groceries, and carried the nightstand upstairs.  All the work was done and I was ready to play.
I wanted one of my Thanksgiving crafts from school to be put on the refrigerator so all of my family could see and enjoy it.
I showed PaPa how to play cars on the coffee table.  When he was tired we stopped to do some work upstiars.  We put away some games and PaPa had a few things to hang on the game room wall.

As soon as we finished those chores, I requested we go play cars some more.
I helped PaPa  set up my tent in their bedroom. I put blankets, a pillow and Monk Monk in it.  That is where I will sleep tonight.
I got to take a bath in the whirlpool tub.  Grandma turned on the jets for me.  That might have been the first whirlpool bath I have every taken.  The tub was so big I could almost swim in it.

When I was putting on my pj's I told Grandma I didn't want to put on shoes.  She said I didn't have to.  I never asked for socks and ran off to play with PaPa some more before bed.  That is different for me.  Generally I vehemently insist on wearing socks.
At 9:45pm I got into my tent and Grandma was in her bed.
Grandma said I was asleep in just five minutes.  This was a fun day.  This may have been the first time I have slept at Grandma's without Mommy being here.  I want to do this more often.
Wednesday November 20, 2013

I was a very happy boy this morning.  I had on a new shirt Mommy bought me.  We were running a little late  because we got behind a school bus so we quickly brushed my teeth, then we went to the donut shop.  I ate one and a half sausage kolacies and half a donut and washed it all down with chocolate milk.
Today when the donut lady asked me how old I was I answered four.  I also waved to two people in the shop when they said hi to me.  Last time Mimz and I went there I turned away from everyone.  I remembered the talk Mimz and I had about my rude behavior that time.

Mimz took me to school, then she went to a dentist appointment but she promised she would be finished and would be there at 1pm to pick me up.

We had a great afternoon and evening.  We played cars and fireman for a change. We did play outside at Mimz insistence.

Mimz and I met Daddy in the Woodlands for dinner.  I had some of Mimz shrimp and oysters and some of Daddy's Cajun Catfish.  We left the restaurant around 7pm and Mimz had to wake me up twice on the way home.  And of course by the time we got home, I was rested and ready to play again.

Around 8pm I was in bed watching one TV show before lights out.  I didn't mention the Power Rangers all day which surprised Mimz.  In fact we didn't turn the TV on all day until bed time.  I complained about a tummy ache but told Mimz I didn't think I would throw up.  After I was asleep I woke up again saying my tummy hurt.   Mimz put a trash can close by just in case.  But I fell back to sleep and slept well all night.

Tuesday, November 19, 2013

Mimz and Barbara both give me a teaspoon of Miralax every weekday morning.  They are going to cut back to just Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  They are going to give me less milk and cheese, more water, and more fruit also.  I eat plenty of vegetables.  They don't want to quit all at once because they know how much it can hurt me to have a bm.  They hope this works well and I can cut back even more or altogether.

Barbara arrived to pick me up from my basketball class at 1:20 and the class was just getting over... ten minutes early.  I said I had fun and we practiced our routine, but I won't talk about it much.  I had a short nap on the drive home.
The headrest won't hold up my head while I sleep, so my head just kept getting lower and lower until it could go no lower.

We mostly played Power Rangers this afternoon.  I had a snack of apple (with a bit of salt on it) and dates.
After GGM woke up from a nap I asked her if she wanted to play cars.  She did.  And even GGF joined in the fun.  I'm glad PaPa didn't have a place for his pool table at his lake house. It is a great place to play cars.

When I was leaving with Mommy I asked if I could take a sack of dates home for a snack.   I only had two cups of milk this afternoon and two cups of diluted juice.  We are trying to make sure our cutting back on Miralax works without me having a problem.

Monday, November 18, 2013

I woke up mad this morning because Mimz took my socks off after I went to sleep.  I want to wear socks all the time and for some reason everyone wants me to let my feet "breathe" at night.  When I get older I'm going to sleep in socks if I want to! I pouted for awhile but by breakfast time I was over it.

Mimz and I played pirates.  I made Hook walk the plank.  There was a shark swimming by and the shark ate Hook.  I made the eating sound like mmmmmmmmmm and then I said "Burp."  Mimz thought that was soooo very funny and so like me.  Of course, we had to play that scene over and over and Mimz laughed every time I said "Burp."   I kept her entertained.

Mimz insisted I play outside, so I rode my bike for about 30 minutes.

Last week, I told Mimz I wanted a brother because I love babies.  I said no girls.  Today I told her I wanted a little sister and would name her Emma.  She asked me where I would get her.  I said from my belly.  She said boys can't have babies in their belly.  So I said then you can get her for me, Mimz. You can have two babies, me and Emma.   (I think I might have a hard time, selling Mommy on the name Emma.  She has always said if she had a girl, it would be named Sage.  That is what my name would have been if I had been a girl.)

We met Barbara at the school and I was being a big brat, not letting them put me in my car seat.  Mimz took me away and gave me a talking to.  Finally I was in the car seat but still resisting and we were headed home.  I hollered for two minutes that I was going to get out of my seat and I was going to open the car door.  I was ignored.  Well I knew better than take off my seat belt.  For the last ten minutes of the drive home I was quiet.   When we pulled into the driveway, I was my normal sweet self and for the next four hours I could not have been a better child.   Who knows what possesses me sometimes.

I eat more different things than most kids.  Saturday I ate sausage and mushroom pizza and I liked it.  One thing I don't like is avocados.  Barbara has tried to get me to try a few foods and I balk.  One of those foods is tapioca pudding.  So today she had the bright idea of having Mimz talk to me about tapioca pudding.  Mimz told me GGF likes tapioca pudding and we made some today.  She wanted me to try three bites and then call her to tell her if I liked it.  I agreed.  So with my dinner I ate a bite and said I liked it.  I ate two more bites and I said, "Yes, I do really like it."  I called Mimz and told her I did eat three bites of tapioca pudding and I liked it.   Barbara thought she was pretty smart to use Mimz in her ploy to get me to try the pudding.

We did not play cars this afternoon... a first in over two months.  I wanted to play Power Rangers.  Well, Barbara knows nothing about them, so we looked on-line so she could sort of understand what they were about.  Mimz told her it was a show with lots of action and it was a favorite of little boys and it is on-demand TV.  We found it and I watched one show.  I really like it and for the next hour or two Barbara and I played  Power Rangers and Fireman mixed together.

We went outside with GGF and talked with Mr. Brad.  It was getting dark so we could not play Keep Away.

I happily went home with Mommy.

PaPa and Grandma drove to San Antonio yesterday so they could be there to watch Bridget run in her first half marathon at 7:30 this morning.  She finished in 2 hours and 27 minutes. Chris' mom also ran in the race and finished about 20 minutes after Bridget.  Bridget doesn't like to run with anyone, so she can run at her own pace and she finished better than she thought she would.  I wonder if she plans to keep running, maybe run a full marathon???
Bridget's medal for finishing.

This evening Daddy and I met Mimz at our Mexican restaurant.  I ate well and we had a nice visit.  Mimz took me home with her and we played Pirates vs. Super Heroes until time for bed.

Saturday, November 16, 2013

Daddy and I had breakfast at the Breakfast Place.  I love eating breakfast there.

In the afternoon Daddy took me over to Mimz so she could have a little "Mason Time," as she calls it.

Mommy worked at a craft fair, but when she finished, Daddy, Mommy, and I went over to Andy's to watch football and play darts.  We had a great time.

Friday, November 15, 2013

Another very routine morning.  Breakfast, brush teeth, play cars and Keep Away.  I did eat an entire hard boiled egg.  That is something new.  I used to not like them because I didn't like the texture of the white part.  I wonder if I will eat Jell-o now??? I would not eat it before because of the texture.
We got out my two long tubes and I crawled around in them, but it was not much of a challange and I was not very interested.  So I helped tie them back up.
I helped PaPa load a china cabinet into his truck.  I held up the blanket while he shoved it all the way into the truck.
                                                           "Job well done!"

I stubbed my toe on the bathroom door while running to get into the bathtub.  I had heard about stubbed toes... now I know how they feel.

Daddy had to work late, so Mimz came to Barbara's to get me.  GGM, Barbara, and I came outside to wait for Mimz to arrive.
I was ready to play Keep Away.
I am good.  Well, I sort of play football at the same time.  I like falling onto the grass.
Mimz played with us and she showed me how to play Dodge Ball.

Mimz did a wonderful thing today. Remember my man suit I wore last year:  Black pants and vest with a red shirt?  Well, I had been talking about how it was too small and I really loved wearing it, so Mimz found a new suit for me.
I was so surprised, I was thrilled and I hugged the suit and I had to put it on.
I was anxious for my dad to get home so he could see it.  Thank you, Mimz.

Thursday, November 14, 2013

I wrote on about this day but it has disappeared.  It is hard to remember what happened but I will try.

I told Mimz I was hungry when I woke up and I had a big bowl of oatmeal for breakfast.  Today at school we played on the big playground two times today.  Mimz asked me if we play Tag.  I told her, very seriously,  "Oh no, Mimz.  We don't play tag at school because we keep out hands to ourselves."     A funny thing:  If GGF touches me, ( to pester me), I start counting as if he will go to Time Out if he keeps it up.
We met Barbara around 4pm and guess what the first thing I said to GGM when I ran into the house:
"Great Grandma, are you ready to play cars?"  That is what you call "a no-brainer."

Wednesday, November 13, 2013

Mommy got me to Mimz and Mimz got me to school.  Boy, it is cold outside.  I needed a long-sleeved shirt AND a jacket. Hank poked me in my eye.  It was an accident and didn't really hurt.  But he didn't say he was sorry.  I guess he must not have realized what he did or I am sure he would have said he was sorry.

Normally Mimz' picks me up on Wednesdays, but she had an appointment so Barbara and GGF came to get me.  I agreed to just rest on the ride home and Barbara agreed to tell me a story once we were in the house.  I always run into the house looking for GGM so she will know I have arrived.  She always laughs because she would know I was here whether I found her or not.  I can't be missed.

I did not want to play with Marbleworks or bowling or Simon Says.  I wanted to play cars.  GGM and Barbara are using their thinking caps to come up with something else for us to play. But so far nothing can beat our cars game.  I like arts and crafts but I can only do that for minutes whereas I can play cars for hours.
I use this poster on Barbara's bed as a Fireman's pole.

We did play Keep Away.  They have to work to keep the ball away from me.  I am very rambunctious.  My goal is to get that ball every time it is thrown and their goal is to keep me from hurting myself.

Both of my great grandparents took a nap.  GGM was asleep downstairs and GGF was asleep upstairs so we had to try, as best we could, to be quiet.  I can be quiet for about one minute, then I get excited about something and I talk loudly.  Then I remember and tone it down a bit.

Around 3pm Mimz came to pick me up.  I was happy to see her and I fell asleep on the drive home.  I didn't move a muscle when she carried me inside and laid me on my bed.  Mimz was not going to let me sleep very long because if she did I would want to stay up until 10pm!

When I woke up I was one hungry boy...
Mimz had homemade soup with cornbread crushed up in it for me to eat and I gobbled it up.

Barbara turned on the heater last night for the first time this season.  And they put an electric blanket on my great grandparents bed.  They put one in the big TV room for GGF to use while he watches TV.  It almost got down to freezing.  But it will warm up again soon.

Tuesday, November 12, 2013

It was a routine morning.  I could not wear my basketball shirt to school because it is short sleeved and I needed to wear a long-sleeved shirt.  The high temperature today is only going to be 64 degrees.  I will change shirts before basketball starts.
We found some old "new" toys for me to play with.  This Marblework set belonged to my mom, Andy, and Bridget.  They played with it a lot.  At first I didn't want to play.  I only wanted to play our cars game.  But finally I enjoyed the races we could have seening whose marble would finish the race in first place.  We also played with a bowling set.  That didn't last long.  My goal was to knock the pins down any which way I could.  If I won't play right, we won't play with that toy.  Barbara said they would get the bowling set out again another day.

Barbara was concerned about my tongue, but Mimz assured her that I am okay and one day soon I will learn to say some of the letters I don't say now, like "L's."   Mimz helped me learn to say Vikings instead of Mikings.

Daddy works with a man who is the brother-in-law to Gary Kubiak, the head coach of the Houston Texans.  This man wants me to be a Texans fan, not a Cowboys fan, so he gave me a stuffed Texans bull.  I think I will be a fan of both teams.
My great-grandparents and Barbara got one pot painted before the cool weather arrived.  They will paint the other pot in a few days when it warms up again.

Thank you to all our Veterans on this Veterans Day!
My first cousin twice removed Mary Frances Howard said it well:  Thank you to all who have served or are serving in the defense of our freedom, well being and safety; and that of the rest of the world.  Stop and think "Where would we be without them?  Thank You!"

Mommy and I went over to play with GGM and Barbara for about an hour before we left to go meet Daddy for lunch.  Mommy had never seen us play Cars on the pool table.  It can be quite a production.  Barbara and GGM are constantly straighten up all the cars, building, and other things because of all the crashes, tornadoes, etc that happen.

Sunday, November 10, 2013

There is some new playground equipment in my neighborhood park and I played on it today.
Carson, my six-year-old neighbor and friend, and I colored in books on my living room floor.
Andy and Kristan stopped by Barbara's home today.  They lifted two cement pots out of the flower beds so the pots could be cleaned and repainted.
The pots were scraped with a wire brush...
...and tomorrow they will be ready for paint.

Saturday, November 9, 2013

I slept from 9pm to 7:30am.  I can do that and still be dry in the morning.  I am not a little boy any more!  I was willing to eat breakfast, load the dishwasher, and brush my teeth.
Then we had to start playing Cars where we left off last night.
We were driving through snowy streets and making big show piles and plowing through them.  I love all the new ideas we come up with to play on the pool table with my cars.

Besides Cars we played Keep Away, Fireman, Hospital, Santa Claus, Simon Says and Hide and Seek.   GGF plays with us for a few minutes then he goes off to do his own thing.  GGM and Barbara either take turns playing with me or they both play.  No wonder they are tired and go to bed soon after Mommy takes me home.  Oh, I will play by myself but I much prefer their attention.  I helped GGM turn over 1000 puzzle pieces to start a new jigsaw puzzle.

I had one Time Out early in the morning, and that was enough to make me behave correctly for the rest of the day.  The Time Out was for my not picking up a car that had fallen off the pool table.  The rule is we must immediately pick up anything (except the snow) that falls off the table and I flatly refused.  It is much more fun to stop for a few seconds to pick up the car than to cry in Time Out.  I do understand the reason we must pick up cars from the floor.

Grandma came over for a few minutes.  Mommy worked at a Craft Fair all day and picked me up around 6pm.  GGM and Barbara both said they were going to get into their beds and watch college football.

Friday, November 8, 2013

Mommy dropped off a happy boy at Barbara's home.  I said I wanted to play cars before breakfast.  That didn't happen.  I ate, THEN GGM played cars with me.
We had to stop to brush our teeth then Barbara agreed to join our fun.
A funny thing:  I told GGM and Barbara that my car was going someplace.  GGM thought I said Triple AAA and she didn't know I knew there was a business called Triple AAA, but she went along with it.  She started talking about Triple AAA and I told her she was pronoucing it wrong.  I kept telling her how to say it.  Finally she realized she should have been saying Chick Filet.  We all laughed at the misunderstanding.

When a car falls off the pool table I say it has gone "overboard."  One car was very loud and I said it's muffler was broken.  And it looks like we will be playing Santa Claus every day for the next 45 days.  I want Santa Claus to be in all of our pretend games.  When GGM and Barbara wanted to rest we went through my bookcases and found four books about Santa Claus.  We read one of them twice and we also read one about the police and strangers twice.  By then I was ready to start playing cars again.
I am good at counting.

Normally I don't forget anything, even after a few months.  But one thing I am having a hard time remembering is the HoHoHo that Santa says when he laughs.  I must have asked a half dozen times what it was that Santa says when he laughs.
GGM, Barbara, and I went for a walk in our neighborhood.  We stopped to take my picture with this big turkey.  The weather has just turned cool this week.  So we sometimes need to wear a sweat shirt or a jacket when we go outside.

I haven't quite figured out how to play Simon Says.  I always follow the instructions...even when Simon didn't say to.  We will keep practicing and I bet it won't take long for me to be a winner at that game.

We have a bag of chenille balls that came off of a 50 year old bedspread that my mom, Andy, and Bridget played with and now they are mine to play with.  They used to see who could toss the most balls into a small container.   But I am pretending that they are snow and my cars have to drive through the snow.  We have a big collection of items on the pool table to play with.  We have police cars, motorcycles, police station, jail, tow truck, lasso, ramps, gates, bridges, towers, walkie-talkies, several businesses like Chick Filet and a drive-in movie, a tornado, and 20 small Hot Wheel cars.
And much more.

After dinner, we ended up on GGM bed and I came up with a tornado game involving volunteers cleaning up after the tornado came through. We played this game at least eight times.  I enjoy repetition.
