More big news:  My great grandparents Bates have a contract on their home in Bella Vista, Arkansas.  They close on March 4th and will be moving here to be near our family.  It is so exciting to have them, Uncle Andy, and Aunt Krissy moving here.  Bridget, we need you here too!

I woke up happy and enjoyed the hour we spent getting ready for school.  I entertained Barbara with my talk.   She loves morning like this, so easy to take care of a happy agreeable child.  She does say most of the time I am a great kid, it is just occasionally that I am a "pill."  She says we all are "pills" sometimes.

I wanted to wear my belt with its big cowboy buckle to school.   Barbara did not think I should but I told her "It is okay, Miss Melanie loves my belt."  So I went off to school with my belt on.

When Barbara was picking me up from school she asked my teacher if I was well behaved today.  Miss Melanie said, "Mason is always good.  And oh, don't let Mason wear his belt to school, because he can't undo it so he can go potty."   Barbara told her what I had said this morning.  Miss Melanie said to me, "Mason, I love your belt, but don't wear it to school."  She also said I am one of the children she lets go to the potty by himself because I can do it.

There were no Time Outs for me today.  I was in a good mood all day.  We played all the regular things with lots of story time.  Anything we do, we repeat several times.  I do have a long attention span.  I prefer hearing stories to watching television.  I prefer the iPad to watching television.
I sat on potty for more than ten minutes reading and playing with stickers.
I did not do anything... but I'll keep trying.
I said I was tired and was asleep a little before 8pm.  I managed to stay awake to hear an entire story but I was asleep within a minute after it was over.
This is an x-ray of poor cousin Kennedy's broken arm.  She broke it in two places in gymnastics class and had to have surgery.  She will be fine, but she is more upset that she had to miss some school.  In her seven years of school, Kennedy had not ever missed a day of school.   I'm so sorry for her!
