Mommy and Grandma left the lake house at 6am to drive to Dallas to attend a scrapebooking convention.  When I woke up I went downstairs to find Papa so he could fix me eggs and bacon for breakfast.  We spent the next couple hours working and playing.  We used our blowers.  We got in the boat and did a little work on it.  Then PaPa pushed me in a running stroller and we went for a long fast walk.  That was fun. 

 Barbara arrived at 9:45 and for over an hour PaPa and Barbara played with me in the swimming pool.  Barbara showed PaPa everything she could think of that Miss Sherrie has been teaching me.  Basically I wanted to have fun and did not want to practice learning to save myself or practice swimming techniques.  I did make a starfish a couple of times to practice floating.  And I loved pushing off and swimming to PaPa.  I just didn't kick long enough or hard enough.  I don't mind getting my head under water.  I would not show PaPa how I can get out of the pool by myself.

I just wanted to play, play, play.  Miss Sherrie tells me to just blink my eyes when I come up from under the water and that will get the water off my eyes.  PaPa tried it and it worked.  I would hardly try.  I often don't like to be told what to do.

Oh, one thing I did well.  Miss Sherrie told Mimz and Barbara that they can help by pushing my head down under water when I am diving to retrieve some rings from a low step.  Barbara was good at doing that.  She would then move her hand and I would come up on my own.  We successfully did that four times. 

I fell asleep at 11:20 while driving and continued my nap on GGM bed after we got home.
After napping for a couple of hours, I found Barbara asleep on her bed and that was the end of her nap.  We played pretend everything: driving, shopping, swimming, and policeman chasing a litterer.  I like playing these "scenes" over and over.  We played with Play Dough. 

And finally I got to go over to Luke's and play with him on his water slide. 

 

That was the most fun thing I have done in a long time.
