When I woke up I hollered for Barbara and she came running, which she always does when she hears me calling.  We talked about the up-coming day.  As it turns out it was a super fun day with lots of activities.

First thing I wanted to put on a long-sleeved shirt.  We choose a gray football shirt, not red, not orange, but gray.  (OU vs Texas football game is today).  I told Barbara I wanted Texas to win.  She said that was okay.  Some years I would want Texas to win, some years I would want OU to win.

Since GGF was sitting at the breakfast table working a puzzle in the newspaper, Barbara and I sat on the living floor using my Sponge Bob tray to eat grits while quietly watching TV.  I finished my bowl of grits and wanted some of her grits but she said no since she still has that bad cough.
I wasted no time getting GGM to come upstairs to start playing "Cars."  Today we made a fence/corral to keep the cars safe from the two tornadoes (balls) that make an appearance at unexpected times.  My ALS bear sits on our pool table being a friend to all the cars.  I am all the time saying, "I have an idea."  Then we implement my idea.  It might be having flat tires, or fighting fires, or going to church, or car crashes.  There are lots of car crashes.
While playing Cars, the phone rang and it was Daddy calling from the Texas State fairgrounds.  I would not talk much, but I did see everyone on Facetime.  The ballgame was to start at 11am.
I was not ready to quit but Barbara had laundry to do and GGM wanted to make some cinnamon rolls.  I was told I could keep playing by myself or I could come help bake.  I choose to help bake.
 I helped stir...
 ...knead, roll out....
...add pecans,
 ...roll up...
 ...and cut.
Then I played with the scrap dough, mixing in flour, cinnamon, and sugar.  I smashed, pulled, and tore that bit of dough for several minutes.

We were watching the football game when the rolls were done and we all snacked on them.  I especially liked them with butter on top because that made them softer.  I had my Hot Wheels cars downstairs playing with them on the floor during the game.  Texas demolished OU, 36 to 20.  I know that made my dad happy.
Prolawn didn't come yesterday.  They showed up today and I got to stand in the garage or near GGF and watch them.  That was a first.  Normally I must be in the house watching out the windows.  GGF likes to talk with the workers, so he always goes outside to visit with them.

Mimz wanted to help take care of me this weekend, so we met her at Mommy's home after the football game, so Barbara could let Maggie out.  Mimz gave Barbara some homemade vegetable beef soup and Barbara gave her two cinnamon rolls that I helped make.  Barbara, GGF, and GGM had the soup for dinner.  They loved it.  It had lots of carrots because Daddy and I love cooked carrots.

I fell asleep on the drive home, but I woke up when Mimz tried to lay me down on my bed.  I told her I didn't want to nap, I wanted to play.  Imagine that!  Me wanting to play!
I had a blast playing construction worker in the rain. Mimz told me to have fun and I could take a nice hot bath when I finished.
My shoes were a disaster but Mimz didn't mind because I was having so much fun.

Short video of me jumping on a mud puddle.  Mimz laughed and she had fun watching me do this several times.  My socks and shoes were almost black by the time I finished.
I was all wet and didn't have time to run inside to take care of business.   I was so dirty we had to strip off my clothes before going inside.
Getting warm and clean in the tub.
