I sure didn't want to get out from under the covers, but Barbara coaxed me out with a promise of warm oatmeal. We had to hurry to get me fed, teeth brushed and dressed so we could leave home at 8:30am. That gets me to school at about 8:50am. School starts at 9am and it is over at 1pm. Barbara picks me up at 12:50p.
I didn't want my picture taken....
...but Barbara wanted a picture of my "Caught Doing Something Good sticker, that my teacher gave to me. I don't know what I did, but I guess it was a some very good behavior.
As soon as I got into the car to come home, I could smell Panda Express. GGF gave me three pieces of orange chicken to munch on. I had to lick the sticky sweet sauce off my fingers so I wouldn't make a mess on the car.
I bolted out of the car, and up the stairs so fast. I wanted to see Anna Kate. She had been asleep, but .... sorry..... then she was awake. GGM said it was time for her to wake up so it was okay.
I played with my Leap Pad, while GGM held Anna Kate so she could see. She watched me for about 20 minutes, just sitting quietly, trying to figure out what I was doing.
We had a mystery to solve. GGF had misplaced his eye glasses. He had a spare set, but his new ones were the missing pair. After looking off and on for a couple of hours, they called in the Special Lookers (Barbara and me.) We had my real walkie-talkies to help in the search. We split up and searched high and low. We had no luck on our first search through all the rooms. I would say, "Have you located the glasses?" Barbara would reply, "Negative." She would ask, "Any luck?" I would say, "That is a negative." Well, finally I got a call from Barbara, "The subject has been located" I said, "Repeat please." "The subject has been located." I rushed to her location and sure enough there were the missing glasses. The were in the half bath. I guess no one checked in there because there is nothing in there except a sink, toilet, and a hand towel. They were on the sink by the soap dispenser. I carried the subject to GGF. He was so very pleased. My reward was a promise of some orange chicken for dinner.
I wanted to play Hunting on the Wii. Of course, Barbara whined that she didn't know how to play it. I coaxed her into helping me figure it out. We figured a good portion of it out, but we never did find any animals. Where are the animals? Oh, on duck shooting we did see ducks, but they flew too fast. I shot maybe one out of twenty ducks. We couldn't find bear, deer, or even the skunk they said for us to aim at and shoot. I'll have to ask Andy or Daddy to help figure this game out.
We also played a racing game. I did well but the volume was way too loud and we couldn't figure out how to turn it down. So they took Anna Kate into another room and I raced by myself. I came in 9th place, then 8th place, then 5th place. I kept improving.
I was in a great mood all day and so was Anna Kate. Oh she had a few bad moments, but for the most part she was a sweet baby girl. Barbara thought it was a rather chaotic day, but it doesn't take much for her to call it chaos.
AK left at 4:45p and Daddy picked me up at 5p. Barbara said, "Oh My. Peace and quiet!"
