At around 2:30am I woke up and crawled into Barbara's bed.  At about 2:45am she crawled into my bed.  I am a snugger and she is not.  Her bed is much softer than mine is, so I got the better end of that deal.

At 6:10am Barbara woke me up and walked me downstairs so I could finish sleeping on the sofa.  GGM will make sure I am awake, fed, and ready to catch the bus at 7:30am.  Barbara leaves for Andy's house at 6:15qm.
Today was Field Day at Metzler.  The first session was from 8:30 to 10:30am.  I didn't have any one there rooting me on.  I think this may have been the first time that has ever happened

.  My dad came to school and got signed in and came to my classroom with a meatball sandwich from Subway and he joined my class for lunch and he stayed the rest of the day to watch me compete.
I have my tongue out of my mouth often when I am concentrating.

Some of the things Daddy saw were jousting, horseshoes, and a four-way tug-of-war.  The last thing that happened was a fire truck came to water us down with their big hose.  Oh, what fun!  It was sort-of a muddy mess but so so much fun.  I'm sure glad Daddy was there to watch me compete in Field Day events.

I was so tired I wanted to sleep on the drive home, but I waited until we got home.  After a nice nap and a shower we went over to Mimz home for dinner.  Daddy grilled hamburgers.  Sometimes I help him but today Knox was there so we played.  Knox joined us for dinner.  I ate 1 1/2 burgers.  I had an active day, good nap, and a good dinner.  What more could I ask for.   Well, I would ask for more of my family to have been at Field Day, but having Daddy there made it a great day!

Today my cousin Amber and her husband Travis became parents of a baby girl in San Antonio.  Her name is Jade Evan.  Her great grandmother Helen, was at Mimz house and we celebrated when Aunt Kathy, Daddy and I arrived.
