Happy Thanksgiving! I am most thankful for all of my adults, who love me and try their best to help me grow into a considerate respectful young man.
I woke up at The Pond. Papa fixed us breakfast and Grandma fixed us Monkey Bread. Everyone was busy cooking Thanksgiving dinner or reading Black Friday ads.
Bradley got sick during the night. This morning Anna Kate got sick. I
promise they did not catch this from me!!!!!!! Bradley seems okay by
morning but his poor mom was very tired after not getting much sleep.
GGM and Barbara arrived about 10:30am. I played Ten-nix with them, Bridget and Chris. I think Bridget was the big winner. After we finished playing Mommy took me to Daddy so I could go with him and Mimz to Uncle Scott's for Thanksgiving dinner.
Anna Kate got sick while Uncle Chris was holding her. Poor little girl and poor Uncle Chris. Both Bradley and Anna Kate went down for a nap right before everyone sat down to eat dinner. They ate their dinner early enough that Barbara and GGM would be able to eat and visit before leaving early enough that they could get home before dark.
Mimz had been cooking and had lots of good things ready to take to Uncle Scott's home. She had her list posted on the garage door, so we could check our list and not leave anything behind. I had my baseball stuff and a football (of course) to take to Scott's home.
Scott invited a friend's family to dinner. They have been friends since middle school. They have a daughter Presley who is one month older than me, so she is in third grade and a three-year-old daughter, Lincoln, who is three. Presley is probably three inches taller than I am, and she beat me in a foot race. We had a great time playing together.
Presley and I were best friends by the time we left at 8:30pm. I was a little shocked and delighted at the same time to find out she could throw a football almost as good as I can. I played catch with Morgan's boyfriend, Isaac; and Uncle Scott. The big guys stayed outside with us a lot.
Aunt Jill had a table set up for us with markers for us to color Thanksgiving turkeys, pumpkins, and horn or plenty. We had a blast.
Morgan has decided to attend the University of Alabama! Mimz has already checked Google maps and has found out it is a 625 mile drive and takes 9 hours! Maybe we will get to go to an Alabama football game.... I hope!
