I helped GGM make two lite Christmas trees after Christmas last year so I could have them to give to my third grade teachers.  I carried them to school on the bus and I made it without breaking them.  

Mrs. Wright sent this thank you note.

Mrs. Gardner sent an email to Mommy.

We had to keep Cole today after school until 5pm.  And Mr. Mark was not at home so we keep Alyssa until he got home at 5:30pm. 

Mimz came to pick me up at 5:30pm also.  She took me to my baseball practice. 

I like studying history so I am very interested in President George H W Bush's funeral.  I was really concerned about a person being in a coffin and they were were still alive.  Mimz explained that that doesn't happen.  They make sure some one is not alive before they are buried.  I still wanted to know WHAT IF they were still alive.  She said they would make noise by hitting on the site of the coffin so someone would open the casket and find them.  I was okay with that answer.

I had a hard time remembering the word casket.  I kept remembering it as something like "crate"   Finally I got it in my brain that the word is casket.  

Mimz and I talked about flying flags at half staff.
