I brought some of my Halloween candy over to Barbara's home, but we forgot to eat it. We were busy.
GGM, Barbara, and I drove to Dr. LaCour's office to pick up a signed paper my school wanted. They need a new form every year saying I am well enough to go to school and my immunizations are up to date.
We made a stop at Wal-Mart to get a few things, with the first stop being the bakery. I never forget I want a cookie and I never forget to say thank you. There was a fire truck parked outside the front door at Wal-Mart. We walked around the truck talking about all the things we saw, like the stabilizers, hoses, Teddy Bear, sirens, and lights. When the fireman came out, I hid behind Barbara. They tried to talk to me and even turned on the truck lights, but I would not be friendly. The adults in my life are perplexed as to why I do that and how to help me stop it. Given time I would act right, but I should act right from the beginning.
I helped put away the few groceries we bought, then I was ready to start playing. GGM played cars with me. A couple of times I didn't play right, so they quit playing. It is so hard, when I feel so strongly about how I want our play to go, to let other people have a say. I hopefully will learn I am not the boss and other people can have a say in how we play.
Mommy took a half day off, so I spent the afternoon with her.
