I woke up before 6:15am this morning. I guess I have not adjusted to the time change yet.
I happily carried my "I am thankful for..." leaf project into school. I said I still wanted the paper fireman. Barbara told me I won't always get what I want.
My left ankle is still a bit sore where I twisted it late yesterday evening. But not enough to slow me down much.
The only thing I would say about school was that Olivia was back. She has a new baby sister and did not come to school for a couple of weeks.
Barbara has a complaint about TOT basketball. She arrives about 1:20 every Tuesday and the class is over. It is supposed to last until 1:30. She realizes they need time to clean up but since it is only a 45 minute class being over ten minutes or more is 20 percent of the class time.
I often comment on the condition of the sky when I come outside. I say things like, "I think it might rain because of the dark clouds." or "It looks like rain over there." I am a pretty observant boy.
I said some funny things today. I should write them down immediately so I don't forget them. Barbara called me "Honey." I said, "Don't call me Honey. I am not sticky." GGM called me a little piggie. I said, "Don't call me a piggie. I don't roll around in the mud."
I went along for the ride to get GGM and Barbara haircuts. I am very comfortable at Dee Dee's shop.
I know where the shampoo bowl is and where the bathroom is, and where the stool for me to sit and watch is. Dee Dee has three young grandchildren so she knows how to talk to me. Oh, and she has a big basket filled with books for me to read. I looked through two books but would not go slow enough for Barbara to read them to me. GGM and I went outside to watch the rain while Barbara got her hair cut.
We have been eating a lot of turkey. GGM and Barbara fixed a turkey on Sunday.
Normally Barbara and I play Fireman on her bed, but today we added Hospital. I, again, closed my eyes while using my stethoscope... just like Dr. LaCour does. I don't forget much.
