I started the day with a frozen pancake and then two cooked pancakes and a glass of milk with Merilax.  I like frozen pancakes.  That reminds me I haven't had any frozen raisin bread in a while.  I need to get that added to our grocery list.

GGF and I went to the grocery store with Barbara.  We needed carrots, celery, and an onion to prepare a roast.  When I was getting back into my car seat I found a new Hot Wheels car.  That always makes me happy and I thanked Barbara.  I don't know how she puts out new cars without me seeing her do it.  In eleven months she has given me 23 Hot Wheel (or other mini car) for being a good boy.  GGM stayed home to start cooking six pounds of bacon in the oven.  It is a long process so I was back in time to help her.  We freeze the bacon on cookie sheets, then put them in freezer bags so we can take out a couple slices as we want them.

We had to rebuild our Car Town because yesterday we decided to expand it since we were getting crowded on the pool table, but in the end we decided it would be best to keep in all in one place so we started over today.  Our new town doesn't have a hospital, but it does have a farm.

We really like our cars races using both the tube ramp and our big cardboard ramp.  We have learned which cars do well, and which ones should not race, because they just don't have what it takes to do well.

We had some cornbread that I threw out to feed to the birds.  It didn't cook well, maybe because it said "best if used by Sept 2013."

Because GGM and Barbara had to cook today, I decided I would bring some of my cars down to the kitchen.  Everyone had to watch their step because there were cars everywhere.
I had fun doing all of our regular things, but the high point of the day was my getting to chop vegetables.   I used one of my plastic knives and I attacked some celery.
Then I did a nice job chopping an entire potato.  We microwaved the little bits of potato and it tasted good with some salt, pepper, and broth from the roast.
I still wanted to chop more so I was given a hot dog to chop.  I ate it as I chopped it.

When the food was put away and the kitchen was cleaned up we still had a couple of hours left to play.  GGM decided to take a nap, so Barbara and I played outside for a short time, but it was a little chilly and windy so we ended up playing in my toy room.  We worked six puzzles.  We looked through my toy box and found things I had not played with in a long time.  We would say "Remember the fun we had playing with this?"

GGF played golf with us.  I need to learn to hit the ball a bit softer, so we would not have to chase so many balls.

When GGM woke up, she joined us for a rousing game of Dodge Ball.  GGM and Barbara were exhausted by the time Mommy got there after work.  Barbara could barely walk after being on her feet most of the day.

I talked all day about getting new soccer shoes at Academy after work with Mommy and Daddy.   I must have asked a couple dozen times if it was almost time for Mommy to come get me.  I am going to start playing soccer soon.

Mommy picked me up and we went home to pack a bag so we could spend the night at PaPa's home.  We met Daddy at Academy.  Bridget and Chris drove up from San Antonio.  Kristan had a headache so she and Andy didn't make it up.  I  put on my new soccer cleats and showed everyone.  There were five phones with cameras on them and no one thought to take a picture... (but I will soon get a picture of my new shoes to put on my blog.)   I kicked the soccer ball around.  I had a sword fight with PaPa.  And we spent the night.
