I showed up at Barbara's carrying a small Monk Monk we found at my home. I don't know where it came from, but I wanted to bring it with me so my Monk Monk at Barbara's could have a younger brother.
I kept Barbara and GGM playing all day. We started with Dream Snatchers, then GGM had a good idea. She thought we should go for a walk before it got too hot, so she pulled me in my wagon, while she and Barbara went on a 15 minute walk. It was getting pretty warm before we got back home.
We went to Kroger's. We used a small kids cart, since we were not getting many items. Of course, I was the chosen cart pusher. I like Ice Cream Sandwiches, but I generally only eat a few bites and I am finished, so we bought mini ice cream sandwiches which will work much better for me. We also bought some Cheddar Jalapeno Cheetos. They have the right amount of hotness and spiciness for all of us.
There was a wasp upstairs inside the house. Barbara took a fly swatter to it and GGM and I dropped it down the toilet. We played Car Town, Army, and Keep Away. And we hid the water rings. I am super good at that game.
I did a pretty good job balancing on this great big ball.
I enjoy pretending to need glasses, but I am glad I really have good vision.
We bought cabbage and corn on the cob so I had to entertain myself while GGM and Barbara made coleslaw and cooked the corn. I didn't want to play upstairs by myself, so I turned on Emergency and watched it downstairs so I could be near them. I really liked eating a cucumber with vinegar on it.
This is my favorite water bottle. I can take it anywhere and not be concerned about spilling it and it has my name on it.
After lunch I rode my bike for a short time. I would pretend it was a police motorcycle and I would fall off it. GGM and Barbara had to be both fire rescue and doctors. As usual, I wanted to re-enact the scene over and over.
I love to eat GGM pork chops and mashed potatoes.
I love to kick and punch and pretend fight, so Mommy took me to a Taekwondo class last night and I LOVED it. It is a Korean style martial art that is focused primarily on punches, blocks, strikes, and kicks. Mommy and I thought I would just observe this class to see what it was all about, but the teacher had me actually taking the class. There were five little kids and ten big kids or adults. There was a five-year-old boy beside me and I really liked what he could do. I was to watch the man in front of me and try to copy what he did. Mommy sat next to a parent who was knowledgeable about Taekwondo and he said I was at a good age to start and I was really listening and doing well. The teacher spent some time with me. She put some pads on her hands and had me kick where she put her hand as we walked forward. A funny thing happened when she put her hand really high and I smiled because I knew I couldn't kick that high. Mommy and I said we really needed to talk to Daddy about me taking up Taekwondo. If I do, I'll write more details on my blog about it.
