Of course I brought my bike and helmet to Barbara's and right after breakfast I rode up and down our dead-end street. Barbara walked with me and after ten minutes she said she had to go inside, it was just too hot and humid.
Barbara and GGM try every day to get me to go to the neighborhood swimming pool, but I don't want to go unless there are kids for me to play with.
Barbara found the music video for This Is How We Roll on her iPad and I sang it to GGM.
We played Car Town and Dream Snatchers.. of course.
For a while I was a policeman saving a baby. GGM and I built airplanes while Barbara started fixing goulash for our lunch. Then Barbara joined in our airplane play. I slapping Barbara's airplane out of her hand because she was not listening to me. She was talking to GGM and I ended up in Time Out pronto. Time Out only lasts for four minutes but I always play by myself for the next ten minutes or so before I want them to play with me again.
I laid down to watch Adam 12 and Leave It To Beaver but I didn't go to sleep.
A funny thing: When Barbara gets exasperated with me, she said, "Oh, child!" Well, I have learned this and sometimes I said, "Child!" before she does and that makes us both laugh. She thinks I am so smart.
Barbara and I did practice my Taekwondo Form 1. Hopefully in a week or two I will have the first half learned well enough to earn a yellow stripe on my white belt. Master Parks made up this "stripe" so I will not get tired waiting to become a yellow belt. Barbara does Form 1 well except for one turn that she has not mastered. She has watched it on YouTube and at during my class one hundred times, but it is eluding her. We start getting me dressed for Taekwondo about 4:50 and leave as soon as I am dressed in my "dough bok" and "dee." It is two mile trip and we get there around 5 or 5:05 and that give me ten minutes to get warmed up.
I have my own technique...
..It is obvious that I am listening and really trying.
Today Miss Irene was the instructor. We stretched out and worked on Form 1. The instructors and the older students spend a lot of time working with me. I answered some of my homework questions for Master Parks. She said, "Keep up the good work, Mason and Barbara."
Mommy got off work on time, so she got to class around 5:30pm. Barbara forgot to put my bike in her car, so after class Mommy and I stopped at McDonald's, then we went to get my bike at Barbara's. We should have eaten dinner at Barbara's but we didn't think about it.
Mr Brad was working in his yard, so I went over for just a few minutes
to help. I didn't stay long enough to get muddy like I did yesterday.
Boy, that was fun.
Mr Brad gave me a ride across the street on his dolly.
