I woke up at Daddy's. We stopped at McDonald's to get me a big breakfast, part of which I ate at Mommy's home. They saved the rest for me to eat as an after school snack. I wanted Daddy to drive me to school, so he did.
Anna Kate was wearing a Christmas onesie that was mine when I was her age. We looked for a picture of me wearing it but there wasn't one. (The reason there was not a picture of me wearing it: Barbara was in Arkansas for a couple of weeks then. If she is not around, not many pictures are taken.)
Today from 2 - 2:45p was my class Christmas party. Mommy was one of the two home-room mothers.
First we made a craft: a Christmas tree ornament.
Mommy had us play a Happy Holiday game. Two teams had to find the letters hidden around the classroom that spelled "Happy Holiday." One team found red letters, the other team found the green letters.
We had a snack of cookies and a drink. Mommy had us play a "Snowball fight" game. We each made a "snowball" out of a piece of tissue paper. We stood on different sides of the room and threw the snowballs at each other. At the end of two minutes, we counted the balls each side had. Mommy said it was a tie! I really think my team won. Each child received a Christmas pencil.
Mommy also had a gift bag for each child with a few holiday trinkets like a pencil sharpener, bubbles, ____ . Barbara came for the last part of the party. She took some pictures.
Teacher made a paper Christmas tree...
...and we each made an ornament with our picture on it.
These four pictures were taken on the first day of school. They are pictures of each of my classmates.
There are nine girls and six boys in my class.
The picture of me doesn't look much like me.
We had planned on getting a picture of Anna Kate and me with Santa Claus but that didn't happen because I acted up.. badly. I threw dirt on Mommy's car and Barbara's car. I threw dirt on Anna Kate's mats in the garage and all over the driveway. Barbara was sweeping it up and I threw more dirt. She threw her broom at me and it hit me. I cried... and I didn't throw any more dirt.
When I decided to be a good boy I played with Anthony for a while. When I got hungry I came home and stayed inside the rest of the evening. Mostly I played a game on Barbara's iPad.
Some bad news. Barbara re-injured the knee she hurt on the cruise. She can walk with a cane and it is not as bad as it was on the cruise. But she will have to have Anna Kate come over here so GGM can mostly help take care of her. She is glad she has two weeks to get it better before she has Baby Girl again. I have helped her by running to get things.
These are old sports Christmas ornaments that belonged to my dad and Uncle Scott. In years past I wanted to play with them rather than have them on my tree. This year we did put them on the tree, but today Mimz noticed I had put them on my bed. I decided I needed them where I could play with them.
