Today is Mimz and Pops 45th wedding anniversary. Mimz likes to take a walk down memory lane and think about their life together.
This is a picture taken at Lacey's wedding in December 2002. Uncle Scott, Daddy, Cousin Donnie, Uncle Don, and Pops. Pops is so very missed. I remember him, probably because I see pictures of him and Mimz and Daddy talk about Pops with me.
At Daddy's house we had an exciting front yard football game going on most of the morning with Daddy and his roommates and a couple other friends. I enjoy this guy time.
Daddy's roommates, James and Wes gave me two more games for my PlayStation.
Barbara and GGF went to Walmart and bought groceries with a gift card from Bridget. Back home they made a big pot of taco soup.
I watched some of the Texans football game with Daddy. The Texas won easily. I had on my Texans shirt.
It was a very rainy day, so when I got home Anthony, Alyssa, and I played in my garage.
We played with my remote control cars. We only had two cars, so we had to take turns.
In my room we played with action figures.
We all enjoyed eating taco soup with chips and milk.
We drew pictures.
When it was about to get dark, which was early because of the rain, we went over to their house to play. We squabble, but most of the time we play well together.
I check the watch Mimz gave me for Christmas all the time. I kept everyone informed as to what time it was. Mimz told me why the car clock might not always match my watch time. I think my time is the correct time. I have been told the rules: I am only to take it off at Mimz, Daddy, my home, or Grandma's home and I must put it in a safe place. I have two safe places at my home: Mommy's nightstand and my nightstand. I can take it off and give it to any of the adults in my life if I need to. It is not a terrible expensive watch, but I need to learn to take care of my things so these are good habits for me to develop. I am looking forward to wearing it to school, where I can keep everyone on schedule.
