Happy 16th Birthday, Elizabeth!
She loves to play volleyball just like Aunt B.
Today is Election Day and a school holiday. I was awake by 6:30am and ready to start the day. Barbara and I watched a compilation of funny videos. The animals are not so funny but the toddlers are hilarious. I ate oatmeal, bacon, and milk for breakfast.
I had not been on my pogo stick in a while so I gave it a try. Barbara expected I would stumble a little just at first to relearn how to balance. I was confident I could beat my old record of 97 ponces on the first try. I was right and I did 100 jumps right from the start. Then we used a stopwatch to see how long I could jump without falling. One minute and nine seconds.
We put air in three basketballs then Barbara and I shot a bunch of baskets.
When we tired of that we used big brooms to push the puddle of water that accumulates at the foot of our driveway into the drain.
GGM showed me how to make popcorn, so now, except for putting in in
the microwave oven I can make popcorn. We drank lemonade and ate
popcorn while we played games. GGM, Barbara, and I played two games of Chutes and Ladders. I honestly won both games. I was just lucky to land on some ladders. We played a game of Headbanz which is a Guess What I Am game. We laughed a lot.
I went outside to kick around my football while I waited for my friends to come outside to play.
By 10am I had accumulated at least12 Cheerios for being courteous.
Finally around 10:15am Cole came outside to play and just a few minutes later Anthony was out. We all went down to Jackson's home to play football. Soon we were back in my front yard. It is the biggest open space for us to play on.
Except for about thirty minutes that I went inside to change into dry clothes, eat lunch, and rest for a few minutes, my friends and I played until 5pm in my yard.
We played two-hand touch football, basketball, wrestling, and soccer.
At 5pm Cole came inside with me and we played in my room, mostly drawing on my easel. Cole is a great artist.
By 5pm I had accumulated at least 20 Cheerios.
Cole and I played Chutes and Ladders until he had to go home at 6pm.
