Barbara slept on the sofa downstairs so she could help GGM with GGF's care. So I got to sleep in her big bed. Barbara woke me up by singing two songs to ne: Good Morning, Good Morning, it's time to rise and shine and You Are My Sunshine.
I put on my jammers and flip flops and made sure my goggles were in my swim bag, then I ate oatmeal for breakfast. Daddy arrived to take Mommy and me to my swim meet.
Barbara wishes she could be there but she wants to stay home to help GGM. My other fans were Mimz and Grandma.
Barbara was reading Boxcar Children on GGM's bed. She left it laying on the bed and GGM picked it up and started reading. She finished it while I was still at my swim meet. Before my meet was over Barbara also finished reading it. It was an enjoyable read.
I didn't know how tired I was when I got home from my meet. I read five pages of Boxcar Children before fell asleep. I slept for over three hours.
Barbara pitched a whiffle ball and I hit every good pitch she sent my way. Some went a long ways for a whiffle ball. I then played over at Anthony's.
When I came home I agreed to play the Flow game. I worked at least ten more puzzles. I'm getting pretty good at it... I will be super at it when I remember to work along the outside edges and work my way to the middle. Practice, practice, practice.
Barbara and I started watching videos of me taken this year. I enjoyed see them all. I'm sure a funny kid in some of them.
I was talking to my mom about my concern that the swimming pool at Klein High School was 20 feet deep in one part where we would be swimming. She asked me what the difference was in 20 feet and 9 feet of water.was. I said 11 feet! She laughed. (Smart little answer.)
Before falling asleep I was reading in Boxcar Children again. I told Mommy I was going to stay up all night reading. A few pages later I was asleep. I think I'm on page 35 now.
