Monk Monk and I slept well in my new upper bunk bed.
Mimz bought me a pass to Urban Air so we went there this morning to burn off some of my unlimited energy!
I enjoy all of it and am getting more confident on the obstacle course up high on ropes.
My favorite part is Dodge Ball. I think I'm pretty good at it.
Mimz and I met Barbara at Sprouts at 4pm to exchange their precious cargo.
I had Farm league baseball practice from 5:30 to 7:30. Barbara took me and Mommy came there after she got off work. It is a really nice area. Field 4 is for adults and big boys. Four groups of kids, divided by age are on that one field practicing. My group was near third base and left field. We started with a lot of stretching exercises and then playing catch. Next a coach and four of us boys moved over to practice together on catching grounders and fly balls. The coach had two balls going at once, so we were kept busy, not having to wait very long before we got practice. We also practice running to a base to beat a thrown ball. We were told to wear baseball pants and our cleats because we were going to practice sliding. About half the boys did wear long pants... but we didn't practice sliding. I was looking forward to sliding.
These coaches are high school and college coaches. Besides coaching they talked to us and motivated us to keep trying and practicing to get better... at baseball and everything we try.
Last week we went through my closet and found out that all of my shoes are too small except for cleats, flip flops, and rain boots! We went to Academy tonight to buy me two new pairs of tennis shoes.
Back home, I quickly took a shower so I could get in bed and watch the last of the Astro's baseball game. I fell asleep when the score was tied 7 - 7 and the Astro's had the bases loaded. I was just too sleepy to stay away any longer.
