It feels like tomorrow is the first day of school and today is the last day of my summer vacation.  We had four days of school, then we had a week and a half off because of Hurricane Harvey.

I woke up at 8am this morning.  I must wake up at 6:45am tomorrow.  I've been told after batting practice today I must come straight home, eat a snack, shower, brush my teeth, and get in bed and be asleep at 8:30 or soon after.  I agreed to this.

I wasn't ready for breakfast so I crawled into Barbara's bed and watched some of the Hall of Fame football game, the Cowboys vs Cardinals.
AK had Meet the Teacher today so Barbara went to babysit Bradley while Kristan and AK met the teacher and ran a some errands.  I chose to stay home so I could play with my friends.  I promised to be good for GGM and I was.  (I always and good for her.)

Anthony and I went to the park with a fishing pole and we caught a bass.  It got away before we could get it out of the water.   That was fun.
The whole gang of kids played football, baseball, basketball and rode our bikes all afternoon.

Barbara and I left for baseball batting practice at 4:45pm because traffic is so bad at that time.  It normally would only take 15 minutes to drive to practice but because some highways are still closed after Hurricane Harvey it took 30 minutes.
I played catch with Jonah until 5:30.
Mommy arrived just as practice was starting and Barbara went home.

I was in bed on time, but it was 9:15pm before I fell asleep.
