Happy Groundhog Day! (Barbara's favorite holiday)
I said I didn't feel good when Mommy and Barbara were trying to get me to get up. They took my temperature wit two thermometers... one in my ear and one in my mouth. No fever. So I had to get up and get dressed for school.
Today my class school picture was going to be taken so I had to wear long pants and a long sleeved shirt. Hey, after I put on my jeans, I decided I liked them! I've insisted I didn't want to wear long pants all winter... well, I guess I do like jeans okay.
My friends and me waiting for the bus.
My mom wrote a note to my school telling why I was absent yesterday and that I didn't have a fever. I took the note to the office. Without the note my absence would be unexcused.
I did eat three pieces of bacon at home and I had a cinnamon roll in the school cafeteria.
After school Barbara tried to get me to work chapter 6 of my Faith Formation, but I just couldn't do it. I had to go play. The gang of five went down to Austins.
We jumped on his trampoline. I came home at 6pm and ate dinner. Then I went over to Alyssa's to play until my dad came to get me at 7:30pm.
Barbara made up a matching game for me to work. It had the 15 state capitals and states that I know. I easily matched them up. We will add more states as I learn more of their capitals.
Here is a picture of my house taken after dark.
