I got up happily and after eating two bowls of oatmeal, I jumped on the bus ready for a good day.

I wanted to go play as soon as I jumped off the bus.  Barbara told me I had to do my math homework first.  Barbara wanted to talk to me about my day and I told her it was none of her business.  GGM told me that was not nice, that Barbara does a lot to help me and I should always be respectful.

I grudgingly got into my backpack and pulled out my red folder.  My homework pages were not there.  I had worked the reading page last night and we put them back into the folder.  I don't remember turning them in.  Yea!  no math homework tonight!  I did have to study my spelling words.  I can spell all of them easily.

I played with the Gang of Five and finally I ended up playing at Zane's.  Barbara drove Mommy to Zane's house since she didn't know where Zane lived.  I was told to be home in ten minutes because it would soon be dark.  Well, I didn't make it.  Barbara came to get me and she met me coming home.  She was glad I was on my way home, but she wished I had gotten home before dark.

Mommy and Barbara sat up tables for the upcoming garage sale.  I watched from the sofa. Mommy was handing me a glass of lemonade and we missed.  It spilled on me and the blanket on the sofa.  Barbara quickly grabbed the blanket so it would not have time to seep onto the old sofa.  She will wash it in the morning.

Every time we come down the stairs we are to bring down something for the garage sale.  Andy's family has brought over a lot of things to sale so this will be a big sale.  We plan to have one in April also.  Then we hope to finish the garage floor like Papa's garage and Andy's garage.

Barbara and I went inside to do my reading while Mommy kept working on setting out garage sale stuff.
I agreed to take a shower before I read on Barbara's bed.  Barbara has clean bedding on her bed and she wouldn't let me get on her bed unless I was clean.

Instead of reading a book, I agreed to read Texas Strider questions and play that game.  I'm still in 5th place for all of the second grade.   One problem I have:  I answered enough questions to play a game, then I accidentally hit Quit and lost all of my points.  I got mad.  Barbara tried to tell me to "not sweat the small stuff" or something like that... but I don't seem to be able to do that.  Hopefully one day, I will get over getting mad like that.

We started watching an old show Barbara likes called Monk.  It was about a leper.  I was fascinated.  We looked on-line and saw pictures of lepers.  The disease is now called Hansen's disease.

Monk Monk and I fell asleep at 8:45pm.
