I slept from 8:30pm to 7am.  By 7:15 I had on my fireman's gear.   Barbara and I played with my big ball and I insisted on keeping on my fireman's gear.  I don't care that it is a bit harder to move around, I have to be prepared to go fight a fire or save a kitty from a tree or all the other wonderful things fireman do.

Barbara and I have races in the house and I always win even though she often has me sit down or lay down and then she takes off running, but I jump up fast and still get to the finish line first, laughing all the way.  Or if she should happen to win, I cry or whine and then I get a lecture about how sometimes I won't win and other people like to have a chance to win also.  I don't care, I still want to win.  That reminds Barbara of a memory from years past:  When Andy was two years old and the family was hurrying out the door, they would race to see who would be last into the car and thus be the "rotten egg."  Andy would cry if he did not get to be the "rotten egg."   Mommy would laugh at him because he didn't understand.

We had sausage and biscuits with strawberry jelly for breakfast.  I might like biscuits as well as I like raisin toast.
It was a beautiful day and Barbara and I started going on a walk around the block.  Luke saw us and came outside so we changed our plans and I played with Luke.  We both are willing to share our toys.  He plays a lot rougher than I do.  Once he told me I was under arrest (his dad is a policeman) and I did not like it.  Barbara assured me I was not.
Today I answered a bunch of fire alarms, maybe 15 total.  That is a lot of fireman's poles to slide down, and a lot of gear to put on but I don't mind.  That is my job.  In this picture I was climbing a tree to get a kitty out of a tree.
It has been awhile since I have taken an afternoon nap, but I slept from 2:30 to 5pm. Mimz came to pick me up and we took a cabbage stew dinner over to Aunt Kathy's home.  I ate my fill of the cabbage stew.  Uncle Wendell gave me a lasso and showed me how to rope a big stuffed penguin.  I practiced over and over.  I had a great time.

We came home around 8pm because Daddy was there waiting for me and we played until it was late so we spent the night with Mimz.
