Today Grandpa Bates went to his VFW breakfast for the last time in Bella Vista.  Behind him is the library he started by donating a couple hundred books about wars, history, biographies, and several other subjects.  Other people have also donated books.  The books are for the vets to take home to read and to donate any they want to share.
