Late in the afternoon it was finished. Mimz and I gave them this welcome to Texas gift. It took less than two days for them to finish it. I told them, "Good job."
I slept until 8 so I was tired out. I like his new big bed. Mimz got up
several times during the night to make sure I was covered and turned the
right way because I travel around a lot when I sleep.
I have been riding my balance bike and I am really improving.
This afternoon I had a lot of yard work to do. I mowed the vacant house next door's yard with my play mower. And I used my saws to cut back a tree limb. Mimz offered to help me but I insist on doing everything my myself. I am quite the little workman, just like my PaPa and my Pops.
Daddy was still sick
so he slept in. We spent the morning playing and waiting for the man to come fix
the damage to my sprinkler and driveway. They were supposed to be here at ten
but were late. Mimz finally left to go to the grocery store around one and of
course they came soon after. Daddy told them to fix everything and they would
have to wait until I got home to get paid since we had been waiting on them all
morning. Bridget and Mommy dropped by for a quick visit too. They were going to get Bridget fitted for a home party dress for Sophie Wilson's wedding. When Mimz got home
she finally talked Daddy into going back to his
apartment to rest.
Mimz and I played here at the house then decided to go to
the park again. There were even more people there today, the beautiful weather
makes everyone want to be outside. My friend Hanna and her parents were
there playing so that made me very happy. I also met a little girl named
Sophia and her daddy is a fireman at our fire station. When we were leaving he
got his helmet out of his truck and showed it to me. I tired it on but it
was very heavy. The fireman invited us to the station on Tuesday nights to watch them
train. He told me I could sit in the fire truck. I told him thank you.
Another quick bath and a bowl of cereal and off to bed. It was another one story
night. I was asleep by 8:30pm.
