I am sick.  My temperature got up to 103.1 during the night.  Poor Mimz and Daddy, they nursed me during the night.  I wouldn't wake up enough to take medicine until 4am.  Then I said I was thirsty and I got some medicine.  I kept saying over and over that I didn't feel good.  I fell asleep at 5am. 
My fever first started on Tuesday afternoon and it didn't get over 100.8 until tonight.  Everyone thinks I might have an ear infection.  Same symptoms I have had before.  I have never complained that my ears hurt when I have ear infections.

Daddy called my doctor and got me an appointment at 9:50am.  Mimz let me sleep as long as she could then she woke me up.

 It is a tradition that I climb to the top of this seat when we are in the waiting room.

I was super good at my doctor's appointment.  I took off my boots without complaint so I could be weighed.  I weighted 35 pounds, which is at the 61.4 percentile.  I am 40 1/2 inches tall, which is at the 82.2 percentile.  I was examined twice.  First by a practicing doctor.  Everything she asked me to do I did very willingly.  She diagnosed an infection in my right ear.  Dr. Lacour came in and examined me and he came up with the same diagnosis.  I am to take the same antibiotic I have taken twice before, along with a cough medicine, and a medicine to help me sleep through the night.

Since the plan to have the painters start painting the downstairs at my old home today changed, Barbara was able to meet Mimz and me at my appointment.

This afternoon I played a little bit quieter than I normally do, but I was in a good mood and never complained about being sick. 

Mommy, GGM, GGF, and Barbara had everything  ready for the painters, but the are going to do some painting at our new home first.  They will start on Barbara's home Monday.
