Today Mimz had her monthly school luncheon with her friend-teachers.  Barbara picked me up from school.  I didn't even go inside when we got home.
I started playing with Luke's bike and tractor.  Luke was not home so I played nicely by myself.  Barbara sat outside watching me.
I have learned to "stop at the curb and look for cars" before I run over to Luke's to play.  We live on a dead end street with only two houses on the street, so the only cars that come down this short street are coming to my house or to Luke's, but it is good training for me for the future.

After three hours of playing outside after school, I agreed to come in.  I asked Barbara to make me some pancakes and let me eat them while she told me stories about "strangers."   If a stranger offers me candy, or wants me to help look for their puppy or something like that, I know to run away and holler "No" and holler "Mommy and Daddy come quick."    GGM, Barbara, and I did some role playing.  I had to work on hollering loudly but I got better.

Barbara told me long stories, but I did not fall asleep.

I went back outside while we waited for it to start raining.  I even turned on the water hose and got myself wet.  I ate a good dinner of salmon patties, corn on the cob and green beans.  I would not even try the lemon pudding.

Barbara read me two bedtime stories and I was asleep by 7:30pm.  I am staying over here tonight, so Mommy can go grocery shopping and try to unpack a few more boxes.  It is hard to get much done when I so badly want to be outside where all the children are playing.   There are lots of children in my new neighborhood.
