I played nicely all morning with GGM and Barbara.
We started with playing cars on the pool table. We had all kinds of races and I often said, "I have an idea" and then I would tell them what we were going to pretend next with the cars. Sometimes we played police cars, sometimes tow trucks, but most often we were trying to out do each other racing around the track or racing down tunnels. One time Barbara said I had hit a barrier. I said, "it is a sand bar." They were surprised I knew about sand bars.
Then we played with Play Dough. I asked for rattlesnake pizza again. GGM still would not even try it. I ate it and liked it. (pretended to eat).
Barbara and I played Fireman on her bed. That is one of my favorite things to play.
We also played blocks in the big TV room after I watched another episode of PAW Patrol.
I was glued to this episode just like I was the first episode I watched yesterday.
I told a long story about a super hero and his truck. The truck could fly, go in the water, go under the water, and drive on streets, in dirt and in quicksand. I am quite the talker at times.
I did not eat much breakfast, lunch, or snack. I drank milk and said I was not hungry. I do that sometimes.
Mr. Brad, our neighbor, needed GGF help getting a bolt off his edger. Well, he needed to borrow the proper tool, and of course, I was right there to help. Mr. Brad says he hasn't seen much of me lately. I told him I go to school three mornings a week and I can't be outside while it is so hot because Barbara can't stand the heat.
Grandma was working all afternoon to close on the two houses. She finally got the keys around 4pm and around that same time Barbara and GGF met Mimz to give me to her. I wanted to go to Whataburger so we stopped and I ate chicken strips with gravy and a few fries. I ate so well, I also got a cookie. I talked nonstop and I danced to the music in the restaurant.
Barbara and GGF drove to PaPa and Grandma's old home. They loaded up Barbara's car and Grandma's car and drove over to the new house. And wouldn't you know it, they hadn't been in the house 10 minutes when a small jar of pickles slipped out of Barbara's hands and it broke on the kitchen floor. Well, they were not prepared to clean up a mess. But in the end they did a good job cleaning it all up. They had a garage rag bag full of rags, and a nice size bowl was left behind, and there was a large box sitting by the curb for the trash collection tomorrow, that had just enough room for the broken glass and sweet pickles. Tomorrow they will bring a cleaner to really clean the floor.
Barbara and GGF got home around 9:30am and will get a good nights sleep before they go back to help some more. They had hoped to make two trips, but one turned out to be plenty for this evening.
