I woke up before Mommy left for work and before Barbara arrived to care for me. We talked about our plans for the weekend. Two Bates' cousins from Pryor, Oklahoma are coming to Grandma's house to visit and we are going there to visit with them.
I didn't want breakfast. Barbara doesn't like that and she finally got me to eat some toast, apple butter, and a piece of sausage.
I took my iPad over to Barbara's to play a SWAT team app. Barbara doesn't like it and said this is the last day I will play that app at her house. I can't play my Power Ranger apps there either. So I played a motorcycle app and fireman apps. Barbara is going to talk to all my adults and see what kind of time limit I should have playing on the iPad.
GGM, Barbara, and I walked a few houses down from their house to shoot a few baskets using George's basketball goal, but there was a car parked very near the goal. It had a broken windshield and we wondered if that was caused by a basketball. We didn't shoot any goals.
I helped GGM cut up a cantaloupe. I cleaned off the top of my little step stool. Everything in the house has some sheet rock dust on it and even after we have dusted we come back a day or so later and find some more. I guess it takes time for it to settle for good.
Barbara packed up things to take to the lake: food, clothes, her quilt and pillow, etc. We left for the lake around 1pm. Mommy drove up to the lake after work. Our company arrived around 8pm. We stayed up until 11pm visiting.
A funny thing: Barbara has a small hidden stash of Hot Wheel cars. Because I have been such a good boy and so I would have a toy to play with in the car, she put one of the cars in her purse, planning to put it in my car seat, where I would find it when I got into the car. Well, she didn't bury it deep enough because as we were going down the stairs, I was behind her. I said, "I see something." Barbara looked all around but didn't understand what I was referring too. I said, "I see a Hot Wheels symbol in your purse." We laughed at what good eyes I have. GGM was surprised I knew the word "symbol." I did find the new car in my car seat when I climbed into the car.
I have been super good this entire Spring Break week. Barbara says that makes babysitting for me a great job instead of a challenge. She feels sorry for people that have children that misbehave a lot.
