Mimz is keeping me all day today, since the workers are supposed to start on sheet rock repair at Barbara's home.  They think my not being there will lessen the chaos.  Me?  Chaos?

Mimz said it was great to see me.  We went to the doughnut shop before school.

A great thing:  Aunt Jill was on the Great Day Houston show on channel 11 today.  She is one of five Houston women volunteers who is being honored for her work on the rodeo.  She has volunteered for 20 years.  

An awful thing:  Cousin Beckett had retina reattachment surgery this morning.  He is only 7 years old.  About two years ago he was hit in the eye with a bungee cord.  They took him to the doctor, who thought all was okay and he just had a bad black eye.  Now they think he might have had a small tear that gradually got worse.  He juts mentioned he needed contacts like his dad because he couldn't see out of his eye.  His parents questioned him and took him straight to the doctor.  They are took him to the Medical Center for the surgery.

He is home now and will have to keep his head down like the picture shows for seven days.  That would be very hard for anyone.

 A funny thing:  Anna Kate likes to be held "standing up."  GGM figured out that she can sit AK on the kitchen bar and she is happy.  In this picture the time is 10:35a.....

.... This picture was taken two hours later.  GGM did not stand there for two hours.  It jut happens that she was holding her in the same way two hours later.    What my adults won't do for the little children they love so much!

A fun thing:  Mrs Ross and her daughter took Rylee to my school today to talk to Mrs Amanda about the possibility of Rylee coming to my school next school year.  They came into my classroom and talked with me.  I was so happy to see them.  I love Rylee.  Of course, I won't be going to School in the Pines by then.  I'll be in kindergarten. 

Mimz and I fly my little helicopters.  We did some digging in her front flower bed.  Well, Mimz sat beside me while I did all the digging.  Mimz so enjoys having me around, especially when I am a happy boy.

Daddy picked me up after finished working out and Mommy picked me up from Daddy later.  As it turns out Mommy is feeling bad (achy and feverish) so she took me over to Barbara's where I spent the night.  I have been asking Barbara when I could have a sleep-over at her house, well it happened tonight.

GGM, Barbara, and I had a rousing game of Dodge Ball until they were both worn out.  Then it was time for bed.  We turned on an old Adam 12 show and within five minutes I was asleep at 8:40.

The workers did not show up today.  They called to say they would be here at 9am on Tuesday.  What a long day of waiting for GGM, GGF, and Barbara.
