Daddy picked Mimz up at the airport and got her home at 3am.  Poor Mimz, she had a rough time with her airline flights both going to and coming form Amarillo.  She did make it to her volunteer job at the hospital and she was there for the birthday celebration.

Barbara took Grandma and Papa to the airport early this morning and they had no problems getting to Denver and then on to Anchorage, Alaska.  They start a bus and train tour of a small part of Alaska in the morning.

On her way home from the airport, Barbara stopped to get me from Mommy.  We got to Barbara in time to get most of the things on my morning routine done before Kristan dropped Anna Kate off.  She had a teachers thing to attend all day.

 GGM read the newspaper with me.

We made some Jiffy cornbread which I dearly love.

I helped clean up the kitchen.

Anna Kate watches everything I do.  She was very interested in my water bottle.

 I put it in the cup holder on her stroller...

 ...and she knew right what she was supposed to do with it.  Such a cutie pie!

Anna Kate and I played well together all day.  When she took a nap, GGF, Barbara, and I went to the bank for Grandma, then to Wal-mart to buy a few groceries.

Barbara and I studied my globe finding Houston, Denver, and Alaska.  We talked about the flight Grandma and Papa are on from Bush airport to Denver and then on to Anchorage, Alaska.   

Around noon, Brad came outside and I ran over to see what his plans were.  He had lots of jobs that I could help him with, with the promise of a bike ride some time today.  Barbara said she would not join us because it was just too hot and she had Baby Girl to babysit.

Brad still had to eat lunch and he offered to make me a sandwich too.  We were going to have a picnic but I had not been outside ten minutes when I came in with three mosquito bites, so we moved to our breakfast table.  Barbara had not thought about sun screen or bug spray for me.  Brad needed to make a few phone calls, so I got in a nice bubble bath with GGM holding AK who watched me.  That really helped my bites.  After I was dry, we put bug spray and sunscreen on me and I hurried out to play in Brad's dirt.  The bath only helped my bites, I sure didn't stay clean.

It dawned on us all at the same time:  My bike was not at Barbara's.  Papa had taken it to the lake on Friday.  I knew Mommy brought it home and it was in her SUV along with my helmet.  We called Mommy and she promised I could go for a ride with Brad as soon as she got to Barbara's at 5:30pm.

As soon as Mommy got here, Brad and I made a quick trip to the swimming pool and back.  I thanked Brad for the fun afternoon.  Mommy and I went home after that ride and we went over to Jon Jon's so we two boys could play.
