This was a fun filled day.

 Mommy bought me a new school backpack. 

I put it on after I got dressed and showed it to GGF.  Barbara wanted a picture and I happily obliged.  I put that backpack on four or five times today and Barbara thought she could see my little mind imagining wearing it to school.  I do think about starting Kindergarten.  I know I will enjoy having lots of new friends and learning new things.

 At 9am Maddie, GGM, Barbara, and I drove the half mile to our neighborhood pool.  Maddie is a great swimmer.  She can hold her breath for 40 seconds and she held a handstand with her legs sticking straight up for at least 15 seconds.  We mostly played in the big pool.  I had an area about 6 feet by 12 feet that I had to stay in.  It as over my head but just by a few inches.  Either Barbara or Maddie stayed near me.  I showed them all of my tricks, holding my breath (maybe 10 seconds), floating, American Crawl, swimming from one side to the other, and retrieving rubber rings from the bottom of the pool.  It was fun having Maddie there. 

We played in the big pool for close to an hour and the baby pool for several minutes.  We drip dried for several minutes before we drove home.  GGM sat in the shade and watched us.  She has never been interesting in getting in pools.

I helped GGM make some brownies from a box mix.

They were delicious even before they were baked.

Barbara, GGF, and I went to Metzler playground for a short time.

It was so very hot and some of the playground equipment was too hot to touch.  The only thing I could get on was this rock wall.  We did notice that new playground mulch has been added.  That will help prevent children getting hurt.

We stopped at Kroger to get GGM some crab salad.  As we were walking by the toys, Barbara noticed that the bright yellow ball they had a month ago was back.  She bought it.  She and GGM loves balls.  It is one we can use playing Dodge Ball.  We are so ready for the weather to turn cooler so we can play Dodge Ball in the backyard.  My bedroom is really too small.

In the middle of the afternoon, Grandma finished her Prolawn work, drove to my house, put my car seat in her car, made sure I had my sack of clothes and baseball glove and balls, and off we drove to the lake.

PaPa and I practice baseball.  We did something called Monkey skills.  ???

Barbara wanted pictures, but later in the evening, I told her we were too busy.  I spent my time at Maddox' swimming.  Grandma, Papa, and later Mommy were all working.

I camped out in Grandma's craft room.

I enjoyed everything I did today.
