I slept eleven hours last night.  It was after 9 before I woke up.  I walked to Barbara's room and got into her bed while she was using her computer and I rested some more.   I finally asked if she would fix me breakfast.  Of course, she said yes.  I wanted it brought upstairs to me, but since I wanted milk, I had to go downstairs to eat.  GGF was at the table working on his daily Sudoku puzzle.  GGM was folding laundry.  While I ate, Barbara and I started reading a story about a little bear who had to finish his dinner before he could have cake.
I helped GGM make a cherry pie.

We texted Nicole and Mr. Mark to see if the kids would want to go to the neighborhood pool sometime today.  Mr. Mark answered yes, Nicole said Maddie was in a bad teenager mood and still in bed, so she probably wouldn't want to go.

Alyssa came over and we played in my room.  Anthony came over to join in the fun.  We played Sorry and with balloons.
I am just now having some success blowing up balloons all bymyself.
Anthony and I built a three story house.
Barbara took Anthony, Alyssa, and me to the neighborhood pool from 1:30 to 2:30pm.
Barbara now knows we are all good swimmers and the big pool is not over her head or Anthony's head so she thinks we are all safe if she keeps watching us at all times.
We played well.  We all had ideas of what we wanted to do.  We were like three chiefs, with no indians.
Syncronized swimmers!

Anthony helped me review my flash cards.  I did better this time, than I did last time!

Cole's birthday party from 6 to 8pm at his house.  We ate pizza, cake, and ice cream.  He like the Sorry game and Pokeman kit I gave him.   We did lots of running around inside and out.  I came home before 9pm.

Barbara and I reread the story we read this morning.  I did better, but still have a poor attitude when it comes to sitting down to read.  If I could read better, I wouldn't mind it so much.  I'm told the way to become a good reader is to practice reading.

The 20216 Summer Olympics opening ceremony was today in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.   I started watching some of it, but I fell asleep.  We recorded it, so I can watch it tomorrow.  My favorite athlete is Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian with 22 medals to his name.  He is going to try to earn three more in this Olympics.
