I slept until 9am.  I don't know why I am sleeping so much the past few days.  I guess all the hard playing I do all day long causes me to need eleven hours of sleep a day.

I woke up with a runny nose, so I took some Claratin chewables.  In no time that put a stop to my runny nose.

I fell asleep long before Team USA walked into the Olympic parade of the countries, so this morning I watched part of the Opening Ceremonies including the USA team coming into the stadium, the Olympic flag ceremony, and Olympic torch coming in and the cauldren lighting.
Then I watched some road bike race, some rowing, and some water polo.  Barbara explained things as we watched them.  (Mommy and other friends were helping a co-worker move.)
Now that I know how, I want to keep practicing blowing up all by myself!
And I learned about static electricity.  Barbara and I drew pictures and wrote words on the balloons.

We read Eat Your Dinner for the third time.  My reading is improving and I am getting a little more interested but I still need lots and lots of practice.
Barbara made me 20 new flash cards which included some words from the story we read...
and the word Olympics and Ninja and my friend's names.

It was 10:30 before I was ready to leave Barbara and play with my friends.  I knocked on Alyssa's door and we then went down to Cole's home to play.

I spend all day playing with my friends.  We ran from house to house.  We ate lunch at my house.  Barbara had Alyssa try to read my new flash cards.  She could read all but 3 or 4 of them.  She is a very good reader.

A Team USA girl (precision air rifle shooter) won the first gold medal of this Olympics.  I watched the medal ceremony and wondered why she was not singing along to our National Anthem.  Barbara expained that maybe she was not a good singer.

I ate homemade chicken soup for dinner at Alyssa's home.  Cole and I are going to have a sleep over with Alyssa and Anthony.  I'm supposed to be on my best behavior.
