Today class pictures were taken so I had to look nice. I still got to wear shorts because I assured everyone that I would be on the back row because I am a tall boy.
Barbara had to get me onto the bus because my mom is in Louisiana at a scrapebooking thing. She will return on Sunday afternoon.
Cole and I jumped off the bus and Barbara snapped this quick picture of us. I was carrying the small box I was given to try to fill with Pennies for Leukemia.... or any coins.
I wanted to get get as much change as I could this week. Cole and I knocked on the doors of the neighbors we knew. Barbara stayed out at the curb keeping an eye on us.
I rode my bike to the park with Cole, his grandmother, and his aunt. I came home at 5:45pm so Barbara, GGF, and I could meet Andy....
...at the Pinewood Derby location for pre-inspection.
GGF watched the scout masters setting up the track.
As it turns out that was not necessary for us to come tonight. It was only to make sure cars were not too heavy or too long. We already knew our car was okay. We did watch part of the track being put together.
Barbara and I met Daddy at Sprout's so I could spend the evening and night with him.
Our mailbox has been looking like it was wet on the bottom foot, so Andy brought over something to drill a hole in the brick.... and when he finished out squarted a stream of water. Andy was right.
We have bricks left over from building this house, and so Papa is going to get a new mailbox built using those bricks.
