I had asked Barbara if she would wake me up early so I could play Texas Stride.  She woke me up at 6:40am saying I needed to get dressed and be all ready for school then I could play on the computer.  That is when we discovered I didn't have any shoes to wear to school.  I had flip flops and my cleats so Mommy and I hurried to Kroger where she bought me a pair of blue sneakers.

I made it back home in time to eat breakfast and brush my teeth but I didn't have time to play Texas Stride.

This week we are to wear special holiday things to school.  Today we were to wear red and white to school.  I wore a long sleeved white shirt with a short sleeved red Christmas shirt over it and of course I would only wear shorts... it was 40 degrees outside and cold but I wouldn't budge.  Aylssa and Cole didn't wear red and white today.

I have on my new blue shoes.  My jacket is covering up my red and white shirt.  As it turns out not many kids did wear Candy Cane red and white.  Just a few of my classmates did.  My teacher did and she noticed that I did.

It was announced that the name of the new intermediate school will be Hofius, after a predominate German man from this area.  Most of the school and many street names are German names.  I need to find out how to pronounce it.

I played with Julian and Xavier and Austin until dark.  I ate dinner and practiced my spelling, then I played Texas Stride.   Mommy had a coupon for a free Bahama Bucks so she and I went to get me one of their drinks.  I did my math homework and watched maybe ten minutes of Monday night football before falling asleep at 8:45pm.  I forgot to read.  I need about three more hours every day between school and bedtime to get everything done.

Mimz has bronchitis/walking pneumonia.  Hope she gets better soon.
