At 7am, the snow had already started to melt. Barbara made about 20 large snowballs and put them in the deep freezer.
There was still snow on bushes but it was melting quickly.
At 9am there was not much snow on the grass, but it was still on the tops of bushes.
Someone made a large snowman at the clubhouse. When Barbara drove by, the head had already rolled off the body.
Daddy and I woke up to find snow covering our yards and bushes! There was not snow or ice on the roads. This is the first time I have every seen snow. We might have had a tiny snow when I was a baby but not enough to count and nothing I understood.
Daddy and I made snow balls and threw them at each other. Daddy drove me to my school where we went to Dad's and Donuts and then we went to the Book Fair. Daddy bought me the book Diary of a Wimpy Kid 12. I'm going to enjoy reading it.
First thing that happened at school was we got to play on the playground in the snow for about 15 minutes. My hands were freezing when we came back inside. Oh, what a totally fun morning! Our special today was art and we made a nutcracker.
I forgot to stop by Mrs. Cat class to see if she is using the small Christmas tree I helped make her last year.
I jumped off the bus and asked Barbara if it was true that she made and saved some snowballs. It was true. Julian and Xavier came down and we hit some snowballs with a baseball bat. Then we threw a few at each other. We played baseball until 5pm when my dad came to get me. I took my new book with me to my dad's house.
We still have about ten snowballs in the deep freezer.
