Anthony and I stayed up until 3am. I came home from Alyssa's at 11:30am.
Barbara helped me count the change in my piggie bank: $11.63. We rolled up as much as we could. I'm saving for a video game.
I got on my pogo stick and started jumping while Barbara silently counted by twos. She would tell me every time I did a power of ten: ten, twenty, thirty..... 260, 270, 280, etc. She told me to stop when I got to 300. I could have kept going, but I was getting a little tired.
I played with Anthony and Alyssa during the early afternoon. Then I rode my bike around the neighborhood with Austin, Anthony, Henry, and Julian. We got permission to go to the park. I got my shoes really muddy. I changed out of those wet shoes into my nice white shoes. Mommy told me not to get them dirty. I came back home with them wet and muddy. Mommy worked on cleaning them... they will never be the same.
I wanted some money to go to the corner store with Henry. Mommy said no. Barbara would not give me any money for the corner store. (She has never bought anything from a corner store except gas.) I threw a fit. I threw my new Rubics-type-cube and it busted into many pieces. I ended up grounded for the rest of the day. That was about 6pm. I had to go into my room and take off all of my dirty clothes and put on clean ones. Then I had to stay in my room for the rest of the evening. I started hitting things, so Barbara got out her wooden paddle and I got a couple of swats. When she turned her back, I made a mean face at her, not realizing my mother was standing right there watching me. I got two more swats and I still had no remorse. And later Barbara gave me two more swats and for the next three weeks, if I am playing at Austin's at 5:30pm when Mommy gets home, I have to come home. I did go downstairs to eat a bowl of cereal and came back to my room. Just a few minutes later Barbara remembered that I had not brushed my teeth, so she came to remind me to do that.... I was asleep and it was only 7:30am.
