The Spartans won one game and lost one game yesterday so were still in the tournament this morning. It is a double elimination tournament.
We played at 10am. The team we were playing against had taller and bigger players on it so we did well to end the game with a 15 to 9 score. We think they "legally but a little shadily" stacked the deck with seven Elite players who were not normally on this team. We lost but we put up a good fight. I caught a high fly ball and I stopped a grounder and threw it from third base to first base. The first baseman caught it but his foot came off the bag so the runner was safe.
I walked every time I was at bat. I managed to steal second and third base both times and made it home once. I was put out stealing home one time. It was really close and the umpire said if I had ran into the catcher instead of trying to dodge him, it would have been a tie and I would have been safe. Now I know.
Daddy has a friend who has a Lamboghini.
This afternoon we went over to his house
... and Ken took me for a ride it. It was great fun driving down Gosling.
A boy can dream!
I was home in plenty of time to get to my 18th Faith Formation class. We don't have FF the next two weekends, then we only have four more classes!
I came home to find none of my friends could play except Anthony. I was under the impression that Anthony said his dad said he could go in the tunnel at the Park. Barbara texted Mark and got the same scoops she got last week. WE KIDS ARE TO STAY OUT OF THE TUNNEL.
